I also had the delayed shipping experience, so unless you can wait for at least a few weeks, I would find another product. The bigger problem is that it has stopped holding its grip to the surfaces. Both the one in my car and the one I use on my desk have started to just decouple from the surface and fall down. It worked great for about a month and I loved it, but I think the suction and stickiness break down over time, and a short time unfortunately.
Fabulous product. Second time buying for second car. Amazing service and tracking.
I will only buy this product for my vehicles because of the simple use and premium quality 10 out of 10!
I absolutely love Carmount. They have amazing customer service as well.
Worthless junk. Will not work on any surface besides glass or smooth flat glass like material. Also poorly made. Ordered 3, one was broken upon arrival.

UPDATE : 6 Feb - Carmount has replied and has offered replacement product of what I have requested in exchange. They have sent an email to that effect. The whole process has been relatively "painless". Thank you and very much appreciated for the your customer care. Cheers

Order the 6 x Clutch-X carmounts as gift in Dec 2025. Received first week of Jan 2026. Installed in my second car (hardly used). Noticed it does not secure to the dashboard as advertised. So i installed it on the windscreen. After using the carmount on 4 occasions it kept sagging and could not hold up the iPhone 15 Pro.
I have written to the Company today via email with a video showing the issue and also reached out to them via the website today (2 Feb). Let's see where I get with this. I have asked for a full refund or a swap to the F2 Adjustable Mount (hopefully they are better built.
At this stage, I wouldn't recommend the Clutch-X and have decided against gifting them to friends

The product may be good, but receiving it seems impossible. I was sent tracking information. When it indicated it was time to pick up there was no pick up address, certainly not the Post Offuce. I was then told by a different company Aramex, that after holding for 48 hours it is sent back. Still no pick up address or phone contact. Extremely underwhelmed

So far all is working well. It mounts easily and the magnet holds my phone in place.
REALLY POOR customer service..
ordered start of January, item didn't arrive so instead of refunding me they have been back and forth in over 15 emails saying I need to send on information from courier in order for them to refund etc.. utter tripe!! My contract is with the seller not the courier ..every excuse under the sun to not refund me!
Disgraceful company & still waiting for my refund!

I have bought from Carmount before and love their product. I got a new phone, needed new accessories, so decided on Carmount again. I ordered supplies early December and now it is late January and still haven't received item. I contacted their customer service on 3 separate occasions and waited a week to two weeks in between each correspondence to give them time to reply, and nothing. So, no response and no items.

It was easy to install. Securely holds phone better than vent mounts. Includes a metal ring for non-iPhones or iPhones with nonmagnetic cases.
Within 5 minutes of order I asked by email for part of the other to be cancelled, in line with their policy. I was told that this was not possible. On receipt, I was told to post the items back overseas at my cost, or a keep the items for a 25% discount. Option 1 is unreasonable due to the above.
I have sent them multiple emails with my choice of option and I have not heard back from them regarding my choice of option 2. Therefore the company's response below is inaccurate.
It seems that they don't honour their returns policy. Avoid this company.

The advertising for the product is misleading. They show it sticking to a screen, and easily putting it on a gym mirror. This is wrong. It has a very sticky back. The "lock" feature is not the primary feature that sticks it.
While they offer "easy" returns, it's a lie. While customer service did get back to me in a timely fashion, you have to send it to Estonia! I live in the US. The cost to ship, which I would have to pay, would be more than the cost of the product itself, for a 100% refund.
It's false advertising, and then they say you can keep the product and we'll give you back 25%. It's not an easy return and it's misleading advertising. I'm sure the product would be great for a carmount that doesn't ever move, but then they shouldn't advertise it as something else. I could never take this to a gym and easily move it. I could never put it on the back of a computer screen. I could never use it in the kitchen, unless I never wanted it to be located anywhere else.
I would avoid this company again. Waste of time and money.
Update 2/5/26- carmount responded below. Their options are
1.send it to Estonia for 100% refund ( net loss to me)
2. If used, even once, send it to Estonia for 50% return (again net loss)
3. Keep it and get 25% back for a product that does not perform as advertised.
Do any of those sound like easy return in the US?? Do any of those options sound good and fulfill the 30 day refund in a meaningful way if unsatisfied, No!
They also refused to give me a US facility as they "aren't equipped to receive" them, despite being sent from a US address.
Did their response offer any opportunity for them to make it right? You be the judge.

Stay away! While they advertise “Easy Returns”, it’s a lie. What they don’t tell you is you have to pay to send the product to Estonia. The cost of freight is more than your expected refund. They never tell you this on the website. It’s a scam!

I received my mount in a reasonable time. In trying to test the magnet before installing it I realized it would not work with my case. I submitted a request to return on January 7. They replied Jan 8 asking for videos so they could "find a solution." I replied immediately that I just want to return it, per their 30 day return policy. Crickets at that point. I wrote twice and finally got a response on January 15 telling me to ship it to ESTONIA for a full refund. The product arrived from North Carolina. I replied asking for a US address. I understood the return policy states customer covers return shipping fees, but it does NOT state anywhere that it would be international shipping. I have heard nothing else as of January 19. I will be filing a refute with my credit card instead.

The magnet and holder are of a good quality but the whole thing is let down by poor adhesives.
If you live in a cold country you may be OK.
In Australia where temps exceed 35 on a regular basis the adhesives became soft and fail as its on a foam pad.
The company refused a refund as I bought in winter and didn't have a problem for 2 months.
Wouldn't recommend unless you live in Finland.

Carmount is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Customer service is horrible and is very slooooow to respond to complaints. Tried to return items, at my expense, to Estonia, using their instructions. Would routinely check status, with only a “still in transit “ response. FIVE MONTHS LATER, the package is returned to me because it was NEVER PICKED UP by Carmount! WTF?!?! I sent an immediate email to Carmount’s Customer Service… it’s been WEEKS and I still haven’t gotten a response!! Not even a “we’re looking into your complaint.” What a waste of my time and money!! Their return policy is a joke!! I will NEVER buy from this company again!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Don’t buy from this scam of a company.
I ordered 3 for the buy 2 get 1 free offer. Only to received 1 and it was the wrong one that I ordered.
I received the ‘clutch x’ which I didn’t order, and it doesn’t stick to any surface in my car. What a useless device that can’t do the most basic function for $39. Pathetic.
I’ve emailed this useless company and still no response.
But still they send through promotional emails to buy more of their useless shit!
