I spent a few weeks reading all the articles and guides on the web site before deciding to send my 8 year old laptop to remove Windows and install Linux Mint OS. Mat answered my questions before and during the service. For $159 Mat gave my laptop a 2nd life. Within 48 hours of receiving it, Mat had updated my BIOS, installed Linux Mint, and shipped my laptop back to me.

I'm still getting used to Linux after years of Windows but the web site has guides to help me do what I need to regain my independence and freedom. I plan to get my phone de-googled soon and will write about the experience when I do.
