Dreame makes great vacuums but there support is terrible. My dreame GoVac 400 had an issue where the washboard would not drain. I contacted support and told them I got it from Costco and they did not... See more

Customer service extremely poor
My Dreame X40 developed a fault after only a few months of normal use, and the customer service experience has been extremely frustrating.
I have been trying to resolve this since December, it is now mid-February. Despite extensive troubleshooting on my side and clearly identifying the issue, support keeps repeating scripted responses and pushing a long repair process without acknowledging that this would leave me without a vacuum for weeks.
I also called customer service hoping to resolve things faster, but the experience was terrible. I was talked over, my explanations were not acknowledged, and I kept receiving generic reassurances instead of real solutions. Suggestions like “you arrange UPS pickup” were repeated without addressing the actual problem or the inconvenience caused.
Nothing actually moves forward, and the ticket has been closed and reopened without resolution.
For a premium device, I expected much better after-sales support. Based on my experience, be prepared for a very frustrating process if something goes wrong.
I have has the dreame l40s ultra for…
I have has the dreame l40s ultra for about 4 months - I have constant issues with the unit including wifi, poor cleaning, ignoring carpeted areas and numerous other issues - I have contacted the help desk - complaints desk etc and the response is sporadic or
non existent- they don't seem to
get to addressing any issues
A must have!
This is life-changing especially for lazy people who doesnt like to clean!
No service or repair customer service
Their robot vacuum L10 ultra ($2000) worked pretty well for 2 years and then starting having so many issues. It is now Feb 2026 and I’ve been trying to get it serviced or repaired through Dreame customer service since Oct 2025. They’re absolutely useless.
Will never buy another one. Not going to spend that kind of money and not be able to get it serviced or repaired.
Absolute joke.
Dreame-tech produces cheap products…
Dreame-tech produces cheap products BECAUSE it has no intention of honoring a warranty.
Dreame-tech is good at two things: taking your money and wasting your time. Save both! Look elsewhere! (Please bring visibility to the issue: Dreame’s cronies are deleting and muting everything and everyone!)
I’m posting this so the next person doesn’t learn the hard way.
The product breaks, and suddenly you’re not a customer, you’re at best an unpaid labor and at worst a pawn in a game of who gets exhausted first! Tickets, photos, serial numbers, “escalations,” and an endless loop of “please wait” while your house stays dirty and your time and patience evaporate.
Here’s the con Dreame-tech is currently running on me:
•My unit failed (front wheel broke, vacuum stopped working properly).
•I opened a warranty claim and did everything they asked.
•They first offered a choice between “send for repair” or a refurbished unit instead.
•Then they magically “approved an exception” for a brand-new replacement… but attached strings and warnings.
•Then the stalling started: “scheduled to ship,” “warehouse picking,” “tracking will update once handed over,” “please wait patiently.” Over and over. No real progress. No resolution in hand.
This is what makes me furious: it’s not just that something broke. Stuff break. It’s that Dreame’s after-sales process seems designed to wear you down until you either give up or escalate outside their system.
A warranty isn’t a cute suggestion. It’s part of what you pay for. It’s also a legal obligation enforced by state and federal governments. If Dreame can sell a warranty promise and then hide behind delays and scripted apologies when it’s time to deliver, that’s not “customer service.” It’s also far from the legal definition of the term. That’s a company running a con on its customers and testing how much time would pass before people give up on their claims.
This isn’t just my bad luck. Dreame already has an established public record for this kind of after-sales failure.
BBB rates DreameTech F, with stated reasons including failure to respond to 39 complaints and failure to resolve the underlying cause of a pattern of complaints.
Trustpilot has Dreame Technology sitting at 1.7 (“Bad”) with 842 reviews and the recurring theme is exactly what I’m living: product issues followed by warranty/after-sales runaround.
So here’s the warning, in plain English:
Do not buy from this company. Their products are poorly built and they know it. That’s why they spent more time and effort trying to get out of their legal obligations to back their products than they do to improve their products’ quality and longevity
Great service
Robot vacuum still in warranty has a fault. Customer service was efficient. Robot sent to factory to get fixed and sent back with no issues.
5 STAR + for my Dreame experience thus far
I see a lot of negative reviews. i would like to relay my personal experience with the Dreame L40 . It was fantastic. The hardest part over all was waiting for it to arrive - it was ordered in Christmas season during a postal strike - so some delay. during the whole time Dreame kept in touch - updating delivery info, 'gifting' items to my original package to make up for delays. It arrived, easy set up, and since then I have really appreciated it's efficient, quiet regular upkeep in our house. I love the updates it announces as it goes through it's process, love I don't have to empty or clean canisters all the time, basically doing a terrific job. We have no pets, laminate flooring - not a challenging landscape I admit. Now - my only concern is longevity - it's only been here for a couple of months - so I will update if any problems with breaking down or problems getting support if needed. So far -5 star+ rating for us. I feel compelled to name it - it's part of the family now! Very happy in Canada! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
They keep sending me spam.
They keep sending me spam, even though I've asked them to stop.
I paid for a product and it never got…
I paid for a product and it never got delivered. When I reached out to customer service they said sorry. And that’s it. I’m so pissed and filing a refund through my credit card company
STAY AWAY FROM DREAME
STAY AWAY FROM DREAME! After 10 months the fan failed and i sent it for repairs at the start of November. They sent it back in December, still broken and really dirty. I don't think it's even the same robot 😅
They have 'prioritised' the issue over 10 times since then, apparently (its AI email responses they automatically send almost weekly). They still haven't confirmed if they want me to return it for repairs, which will just take another month.
I paid $1.5k for 10 months of use and now it's been collecting dust for 3 months. I'm in Australia and enacted my rights under Australian consumer law, which they have well and truely breached at this point, but still they wont address the issue and sent another Al email saying repairs will be prioritised. Just completely ignored my other email. Just goes to show it's all automated nonsense.
I have also called their support number on their website over and over but it just hangs up after 5min on hold. More evidence to go with the rest when I inevitably have to escalate this. I tried calling at different times on multiple days.
I'm going to have to escalate to the Office of Fair Trading and, if they keep ignoring me, lodge a claim with my states Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Absolutely at my whits end with this company and wish I didn't wait so long to put the pressure on them, because they obviously don't care and will wait for you to escalate.
The robot is great when it works, but have an issue under warranty? Kiss your money goodbye. Want more experiences like this? Search Dreame reviews on google or search Dreame support on Reddit. I'm only one of so many!
Looks premium, operates like a scam
Looks premium. Operates like a scam. We ordered the Dreame Matrix10 Ultra around Christmas because it was heavily discounted. Delivery was promised within 5 business days. The product never arrived. Tracking was stuck at “label created” the entire time. Customer support is effectively nonexistent. Emails were ignored. Chat responses came hours later, repeating the same excuse that this delay is “normal” and that we should wait. No real information, no accountability, no solution. After multiple follow-ups, nothing changed. We never received the robot. The only reason we got our money back is because we paid via PayPal. Because of Dreame’s failure, we also lost the discounted price and can no longer reorder the product anywhere, as the sale is long over. Dreame offered no replacement, no price protection, no compensation, and never followed up. Completely unreliable. This is not premium service. Avoid buying directly from this company.
Worst customer service and after sales experience
Its been two months and I still didn’t receive the ordered item. The customer service is not real people so don't expect to have a clear answer. They don’t even know what has been delivered where the items are. Stay away from them
worst customer service ever
worst customer service ever! returned my vacuum more than 2+ months ago and still waiting on my refund. its a joke! well good thing i know where not to shop for a vacuum now
Matrix 10 Ultra
It’s my first experience with Dreame. A few weeks ago I bought two Dreame robots (an Aqua10 Ultra track and a Matrix 10 ultra). In this review I’d like to focus on the Matrix.
I bought it to take care of large wooden floor and a few “hard floor” surfaces. After a few weeks of use all I can tell is that the robot in just incredible, after carefully setting up the control app, it started doing its job with no issues.
Since it started running I never had to manually clean any area it took care of.
The ability to change the cleaning pads to different areas on its own is impressive.
Up to now it’s a full 5 stars rating.
Terrible customer service
To say Dreame's customer service is terrible would be to infer they provide customer service.
I called them to ask why a coupon I received from them was not working on a purchase I was trying to make.
It is a pretty simple question and it doesn't seem like a hard question to answer.
They have escalated my questions through 4 levels of their support team. It has been over a week and I still haven't received an answer.
On a previous occasion, I ordered a bottle of their cleaner for my X40 Master robot cleaner. It took 13 days to receive it. In today's shipping environment even 2 days is considered a long time.
Avoid at all costs (ultra x50)
Spent 2300 on a robot vacuum. Within 6 months, the side brush stopped spinning (x50 ultra)
Customer service horrendous - line would be put on hold and then hangs up automatically. Sent details through to email for no response. Lodging formal consumer complaint now.
Extremely disappointed with Dreame UK’s…
Extremely disappointed with Dreame UK’s after-sales service.
My robot vacuum was delivered to your repair centre on 15 December (confirmed by you), and since then I have received nothing but excuses, delays, contradictions and empty promises.
I have sent over 16 emails, made multiple phone calls, spoken to agents and a manager who personally promised me an update – which never came. The device was not even registered for repair for weeks, despite your own stated repair timeframe of 7–14 working days.
No clear repair status.
No confirmation.
No replacement.
No refund.
I informed you clearly that I am relocating from the UK on 10 January, and you assured me this would be resolved before then. It has not been.
What is most disappointing is not the product defect itself, but the way this case has been handled – with lack of transparency, accountability and basic respect for the customer.
This is not premium service. This is not professionalism. And this is not how loyal customers should be treated.
I am now forced to escalate this through Klarna due to your lack of resolution.
Think twice before trusting Dreame’s after-sales support.
⚠️ Warning
⚠️ Warning: Stay away from Dreame Robot – Safety and Quality Issues
I am beyond frustrated. I spent 2,000 euros on these robots thinking they were a long-term investment, but it has been a total waste of money.
Even after sending them in for repair, they still don’t work. The sensors are useless, and they can’t even find their own docking stations. Most importantly, there is a serious safety flaw: the robot completely ignored a pile of toys and almost hit my daughter while she was playing.
I bought the extended warranty, but it doesn't matter if the product is fundamentally broken. Save your money and your sanity—don’t buy these!
