I originally started with dropshipping, but no matter how much effort I put in, I just couldn’t land any sales. It was frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging. I was close to giving up entirely when Trent introduced me to stock trading.

I originally started mentoring to help with my brother's drop shipping business and learn about all of what that entails, and I got that along with much more.

Some of the things I re-learned that provided much clarity to me were:

I believe that anyone starting a business, or really any skill should invest in a mentor. It is someone who has already made many mistakes so that you don't have to, and especially in a business can save you countless hours and dollars. Not to mention it is someone else to hold you accountable to show up every day for what your trying to accomplish.

Trent has been nothing but awesome to us in our business journey, and it's still going after over a year being one of his students. When I saw the "Dropship XL" title I was expecting something a lot more of just a flat dropshipping guide, but that is just the surface level really. Trent is clearly a man with years of experience in the field and has found a lot of success, but despite that, has not yet failed to spare us all the time we need to make things work for us. Just over a year ago, at 19, I had just lost my job. I had no business experience, no real structure in my life — just hours of video games, a bit of exercise, and not much else. I wanted more. But here are a few of them: I have become incredibly good at website design, using WordPress, Aweber, Meta, Reddit, Twitter, I've learned how to do e-mail marketing, create a sales funnel, generate leads, I've learned how to make videos for social media, I've learned how to sell, I acquired a new job because of him, he helped me design a resume, helped me track my finances, helped me get my life back on track by keeping up with me, he's been incredibly uplifting and encouraging, always willing to help me out, he's given me lots of book suggestions that upon reading have changed the way I think about things, I've learned how to create lead magnets, how to create pop-ups, how to negotiate and talk with people, he's taught me how to build a team, how to lead a team, how to talk to people professionally, he's made me rethink about a lot of things, always challenging my mindset, just to make sure I understand what I’m talking about, and so much more!

Trent is way more than a “dropshipping coach”. He’s helped with every aspect of my life. It’s been so nice and important for my development to have weekly check-ins with him, to learn and grow, not only as a person, but as an entrepreneur.

My personal biggest struggles have always been staying focused, meeting deadlines, and an overall lack of confidence. Trent has provided me with countless strategies, books, and 1 on 1 talks that have helped me through all of these things. But if there was one thing in particular that I’ve struggled with my whole life, it’s been money. The second I get it, the next second I lose it. I found Trent on a reddit forum about drop shipping. Im a traveller and trying to get an income happening so I can stay out on the road for as long as I can before I have to settle down. When I do settle down I’m hoping to have a full blown business that will support my lifestyle.

It’s been a fascinating learning experience so far. The weekly zoom calls helped keep me on track and Trent goes above and beyond. He says they are an hour long but most of them went way past that. He is also always available to help during the week on whats app.

He was always just a text away willing to help me when I got stuck or frustrated. He was especially helpful with mindset training when I needed it the most. It was really valuable to have someone who has gone through it all before and knows the frustrations first hand. It’s been a great experience so far.

I began DropshipXl mentorship on my birthday in April 2021. Thinking back to a year earlier, the first time I tried to dropship using Shopify was a disaster. I used YouTube videos as a guide and it lead to a waste of money and time. This is why I decided to find a mentor. I will touch on a few important key points of the mentorship.

First, Once I joined the program, I will receive a Tool Box excel spreadsheet filled with information, resources, website links, instructions for all things E-commerce, Digital courses, Affiliate Marketing, Coaching, etc. The Tool Box made it extremely easy to find a niche to build a brand with. Trent guided and brainstormed with me to zero in on a niche. This confidently began my journey.

Secondly, Trent has helped me on a personal development level by sharing important characteristics of successful people. Turn Common Sense into a Common Practice, setting and achieving goals, organized priorities, and management of time. This changed my life. I now wake up early and am excited to achieve my daily goals. Learning skills that open doors to limitless possibilities and helping people.

Finally, Trent's high level of patience is incredible. I honestly feel that If I had been laser-focused and studied the sessions periodically as Trent suggested. I would be so much further along. Trent is a fantastic mentor and coach. I am always skeptical about online gurus, however Trent was quick to prove that there really are some good ones out there.

Trent is a great mentor and has helped me a bunch with launching my eCommerce site. There is always something to learn with Trent when we hop on a call. I Started an online business in Dec 2019. So after investigating and watching several folks on youtube with their courses I decided to dive in. Then I drowned hit the bottom with the catfish it was dark but I could feel their whiskers. HA!

Yep. And I'm no slacker by any stretch. I'm fifty two had a construction business for sixteen years and my wife retired from Fidelity investments. We bought a chunk of land built a cabin. To do this we moved from Texas to Oklahoma. So for me it was back to construction.

I'm great at it no problem for me to find work I'm good with people and I do great work. BUT how do I want to spend the other fifty years of my life. So it was back to construction OR ?

I'm ok with the computer and thought I would have no problems with an online business. Well, I was wrong. I bought into this whole idea of just finding one item/product and bingo you can scale it to the moon. I would have lots of different products all across the board for selling. Wrong, doesn't really work like that.

Anyway, I spent about fifteen hundred bucks on some courses and read a pretty good book "Facebook ads made simple" and it still wasn't simple. Tried really hard to get everything going but could not and believe me this was my job Monday through Friday on the computer trying to make things work.

The course and studies I did are by some of the most popular guys in the market. They were very successful but I shouldn't mention any names. After about three months of a lot of frustration and heartache I stumbled on to Trent.

By that time I was very skeptical, but after reading some of his reviews, I decided to pull the trigger. All I can say is this. If you are trying to start a business online and it's not as easy as you dreamed it would be don't spend another dime stop now and call Trent.

He will walk you through every step with great patience he truly cares that you succeed. I started with Trent in March of 2020 and I'm still a student. In the first month and a half I sold $4,933.00 in product. Covid eventually hit and it hurt lots of businesses including mine but Trent didn't miss a step. He has been guiding me through this mess/covid. As covid has stopped a lot of manufacturing but things are coming back thank GOD!

I speak with Trent every week sometimes twice a week. Trent is an awesome mentor and instructor. If you complete the task he gives you he will put you on the map headed in the right direction to success! Onwards and upwards as Trent always says! LOL.

Let me ask you one question! Besides building a great website and I hope you can, how much do you know about marketing? Don't worry I knew nothing!

Like how to read numbers in Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager or use Google Merchant Center plus platforms like Instagram/Facebook pages, blogs etc. And that's not even touching the surface. So if you don't know how to use these tools effectively and understand them, then your business isn't going very far.

That is if you want a lasting solid business. And believe me I'm still learning, I still feel like a kid with his training wheels on his bike every time I have a session with Trent.
