I looked through many online teachers before picking Eloy because after looking through his YouTubes it was obvious he wasn't just a person who could do one thing and teach you that, I could tell he's dedicated his life to music. Classical, blues, rock... He's excellent in these styles and perhaps more importantly he's a great teacher. For example, after he found I was holding the pick in a way that was holding up progress, he took time to come up with custom exercises designed to help me improve.
I think a great teacher is someone who knows the subject and can explain it a few different ways until one of them clicks with the student. He can do that.
He can teach any style and guitar and music theory as well.

I am on lesson #37 with Eloy, and I can tell you he is a super knowledgeable and skilled guitarist, and even better, he is a flexible and patient teacher. I am nearing retirement age, and picked up guitar as a new hobby just recently…so I am not learning as fast as a teenager! But I feel like I have progressed so far in the little time I have spent with Eloy. Whatever your interest is: blues, jazz, rock, classical, he can cover it all and explain it clearly. I highly recommend Eloy!

I was looking for a structured guitar practice plan, and Eloy created a detailed routine tailored perfectly to my goals and schedule. After only a few weeks, I’ve already made huge progress and learnt a lot.
He designed a plan that matched my skill level exactly, and explained new ideas in a way that made everything click. His explanations were clear, practical, and easy to follow.

Eloy is very patient and a good teacher. He’s very knowledgeable about music and stronger in multiple genres. I highly recommend him.

Eloy is the true guitar master and best guitar teacher I have ever met. He’s so knowledgeable, patient and very accurate with details. He transformed my playing technique only in a few weeks . I’ve never thought that I’d be able to play sweep picking or some styles that I’ve never played before . I recommend this guy to anyone who wants to play guitar in a right way or improve his / her guitar skills .

I've taken over 3 years of lessons with Eloy and I find him a wonderful teacher. His eye for corrections is great, and he comes up with specific exercises for what we're learning all the time. He's also a fantastic player, which is nice

Great for all levels of guitar players!
I've been taking lessons with Eloy for several months, and I am so happy with the progress I've made. I'm in my late 30's and have been playing guitar since high school. I've had some teachers in the past, but Eloy is far and away the best. He is super knowledgeable on no just theory, but also things like modern guitar technique. His system fills in all of the little gaps in knowledge so that you can be a versatile musician- shredding thoughtfully.
He takes his role as a teacher seriously- he's not just a guitar player who teaches in between gigs. Even though the lessons are through Zoom, he watches and listens carefully, so he can identify issues with technique or understanding.
For example, yesterday I was having an issue with cleanly playing a little shreddy run and he gave me a small tip for better accenting certain notes. Doing so changed my playing immediately to where I was playing both faster and cleaner than I had for the last two weeks.
I can't say enough about how good Eloy is as a teacher. One million stars/5

Eloy is a great guitar teacher. I told him what my goals were, and he tailored the lessons to help me achieve them. He also gave great exercises to work on during the week, and he got me ready for the stage. He is very knowledgeable and a great player.

Eloy has been an excellent teacher to my 1st grader. He is patient extremely skilled positive and overall a great teacher. Highly recommend.

My son has been taking electric guitar lessons with Eloy for a couple of years now. Eloy is extremely patient and kind! My son has learned so much from Eloy. He teaches his students a very solid base from which they can expand.

My favorite thing about my having Eloy as an instructor is his professional background in music theory. Before we spoke, I told him my goals were to become familiar with music theory and learn to read sheet music. Eloy took my requests and created a lesson plan that addressed them right on point. Eloy is flexible, patient, knowledgeable, and has always clarified any confusions. His rates are more than fair, as I have been provided with stronger 1 on 1 teaching than I have found even in my formal music instruction. I also love that Eloy provides progressively challenging guitar exercises (in PDFs that I can print out!) to practice between our lessons, keeping me occupied and prepared until our next meeting!

Eloy is a very talented guitar player with a gift for teaching. We’ve been doing virtual lessons for several months and he’s able to make them as effective as in-person lessons I’ve had. Where he stands out is his ability to find those little things technique or theory-wise that help me improve faster than I have with other lessons or online courses. He seems to have an endless supply of exercises and songs that are fun and keep me engaged and constantly learning. I highly recommend Eloy!

Eloy has been my guitar teacher for almost three years. I started from zero, and he has been wonderful in guiding me step by step throughout my journey!
