After ordering a carpet runner, I didn’t get an email until several days later to say it was discontinued. I tried to respond to the company via their website of which I had set up an account to use via their phone app. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t physically write an email to them and the reason why became apparent when the application was only a beta version only. I had to phone the company to get a refund and the customer rep did not seem to accept that there was an issue. Poor experience.

Fruugo is just a global market place for retailers. I purchased a pair of freepeople sandals which cost £99 plus £9 postage..the problem occured when I had to return the shoes and found out that the retailer was purely an online retailer known as Pairmysole or Shoefab operating on Amazon and ebay. I had to pay £20.30 to return the item from UK to USA, so beware ..ordering from Fruugo can turn out to be very costly if the item is not right when it arrives.

So, the customer service folks at Fruugo just made all the bad stuff go away after our initial complaint, and for that we are very grateful. Thank you for your understanding and for issuing a refund really quickly. It is reassuring to know that one is dealing with a responsible and professional business after all. We are now slightly embarassed that we reacted so quickly with a negative review. We will be back :) .........................................................................................................This was our initial comment: ‘We just went to the post office to collect our item and were told we had to pay a huge amount of import duty, which we could not afford, so we had to just leave it there. We didn’t even know this was coming from another country, let alone there would be extra charges on top of the postage we had paid as there was nothing about this on the order form or receipt. We are devastated.’

This is an update my last comment re Fruugo and the fact that I had no idea the item was being sent from the U.S. and would, therefore, incur additional costs. I am pleased to say that Fruugo have reimbursed the €17 euro import duty and Post Office handling fee. They behaved very decently. All I would say is that, if buying from this site be aware that the goods could be coming from any part of the world so factor this is when calculating the costs.
Ordered an item which came from u.s.a it arrived very promptly. I was a little surprised when it arrived and there was a custom charge. I got in contact with a very helpful lady by the name of hannah who quickly sorted out a refund to my account. Thankyou fruugo I would most definitely use again thankyou

Kieran was very helpful from start to finish, my order had not arrived so I called only to find that it had been delivered to a local depot for which I had to pay import tax. Kieran dealt with the query within 24 hours and offered a full refund.
Only 4 starts because I was not told about where the package was, I had to call and I had to pay the tax in advance, and was not told.
I am positively surprised. I had a problem with an article.
The customer service has supported me well and I agree with the good will of the provider.
I will gladly order something again.

Ordered hooks over a month agoo and haven’t heard anything since then. When we try to contact fruugo we get no help as they only refer to our user at fruugo (which seems to not excist) or contact the ”shop” directly. As we cannot login we cannot contact the dealer. Fruugo must be very inspired by Kafka...
I will never ever buy anything from this site again and I would recommend all of you to stay away as well!

I'm in Australia and ordered a pond vacuum; had no idea it would come from Germany. Cheap price and reasonable freight times just needed an adapter for the plug and still saved a heap of money. I will use and recommend this mob again.

I didn't realize at first that it was a co-operation of multiple services, rather than a single vendor. I got a little restless when I made an order and then a week passed without any signals about its progress. It turned out that I neglected to check my PayPal-associated email, which is where all communication went. With expert troubleshooting by Jessica at fruugo.com, we figured it out; the parcel had already been on its way and arrived on the next day.
It was a very pleasant transaction.
I bought a bag on this website, It arrived within 5 days (with DhL) I could easily reach the customer service when I had queries, especially before buying the bag as I was scared to purchase from them because of all the negative feedback.
The customer care team answered quickly to all my emails or messages on Facebook.

A problem occurred with my delivery: I received immediately assistance and refund.
There is no way to contact anyone directly regarding my order. I received only one mail saying parcel was sent but no tracking number. For inquiries you get an online form where supposedly the seller will get directly in contact with you. After almost a month no one has answered.
Absolutely bad customer experience.

I bought a pair of shoes, and they didn't fit. Customer service was exceptional! They got right back to me with instructions and explained that it was not a problem. I did have to pay return shipping from USA to UK, but that was my fault because I didn't pay attention to where they were shipping from when I ordered them. I am impressed with their customer care for sure!
I am now adding to my review - I just found out that even my return shipping was refunded to me!!! Wonderful!!! I will definitely shop here in the future!
I would buy from this site again and again. The customer service is quick and easy. If you buying, do read everything. Read all the information on the listing before buying so that you know where, what, and when. Other than that, everything was good for me.
I ordered a speedo swimming costume.
To place the order and get the confirmation it was so easy but after that nothing....
I emailed customer service they track down my package and received it in 3 days.
