Great bike that my son loves (HeavyDutyNL). Experience to choose a bike on the website and pick up from my local dealer was a simple and easy process, with good communication from both Gazelle and my local Gazelle dealer who was friendly and very helpful.

I bought a 120€ waterproof side bag that got severely damaged in one single drop, there are several holes from abrasion immediately. Very weak material and bad quality. I would never recommend buying any accessory from them. Probably cheap Chinese product with Gazelle branding.

The delivery was delayed compared to what it was stated on the website, although I appreciate receiving an email about this delay.

I tried Gazelle bike Orange C7+ (7 gears) low instep.
Now I have a simple bike with 8 gears.
I want a lower in step.
The Orange bike costs very much more power to forward than my own bike. In the shop they said it is the difference in the 7 or 8 gears. Gazelle do not make a "low in step" with 8 gears unfortunately. I do not want an electric bike for my short rides. Electric bikes are heavy and needs service and you have less control over the bike, so more change to fall.Be warned and buy a 8 gear bike.

There is a disconnect between the updates I received from Gazelle (your bike has been delivered to the store) vs actual reality (store has no idea where the bike is). Overall I am dissapointed, because the lead time was 5 days and currently, we are starting week 2 and bike nowhere to be found.

Nice look and reasonably good ride
4th Gear is cracking and noisy , not sure who and how that can be fixed as I purchased online. frame is sturdy but heavy. Guards ( chain and tyres) made out of plastic which I personally don't like.

I'm using a Gazelle Vento C7 for five years and it's still like brand new. My Strava trip logs indicates 1702 km, including a 120 km roundtrip from Eindhoven to Baarle-Nassau, but I'm pretty sure I did much more kilometers than that. Still smooth, takes off and disappears like a gazelle. So I thought of leaving this review for all the positive experience I had for the past 5 years.
PS: I bought another Gazelle bike - Grenoble C7+, so now I own two.
We tried first in the experience center. We like it. The people nice and bike with good quality.

A nice bike with absolute total CRAP brakes. Maguro is absolute CRAP. Gazelle Vento C7. Bought 4 years ago. Needs brake maintenance every 3 months. One moth after this maintenance, the brakes do not work anymore. Gazelle dealer charges EUR 80 for this maintenance. So that's 4x80 euro a year, and then you STILL drive around with downright dangerous brakes.
Ofcourse the dealer wil deny to Gazelle that the brakes are crap. He's making fucktons of money of it. Gazelle hides behind dealers.
I have challenged Gazelle to do the brake maintenance on this bike for a year. IF my wife then can cycle a year without issues, i'll apologize. But we all know that will not happen, so Gazelle doesn't take this agreement.
Gazelle is nice for a citybike, if you like to have accidents because of not working brakes.
//edit response to gazelle reaction
Strange,, when I contacted Gazelle 3 months after purchase that the brakes were bad, they said: NO WARRANTY.
Stop Lying. You know you have delivered a whole series of bikes with downright dangerous brakes.

Looks good. However service options and delivery of spareparts is a nightmare (waiting time of 2 weeks to get a bike repaired).
(note: the main block is on Gazelle's ability to deliver parts in a timely mannner).

I bought a really expensive bike for well over 2k that had issues within a couple of months and the customer service has been dreadful. Not only did they take long to respond, they were unhelpful and rude and made me feel like its my problem to sort which is absolutely not what one should expect for such a premium product. Definitely got some post-purchase dissonance now and never buying another Gazelle bike again.

Everything went well with my purchase. The bike is beautiful, comfortable and of great quality (Gazelle Vento C7). It was delivered at the store of my choosing and I was able to pick it up 10 days after buying it through the website (9 working days).

We're the proud owners of Gazelle T10 ultimate ebikes with 10 speed Shimano gears. I purchased mine in June last year and my wife bought hers in January this year, both purchased from Bike Factory Chester.
The build quality is excellent.
I've managed 74 miles on 500w battery on eco, (that was in the Netherlands) but regularly achieve over 50 miles in UK.

I absolutely loved my Gazelle Paris C7+ e-bike. It's a perfect size, well made, and so smooth and comfortable to ride. Unfortunately thieves also love it.
My partner and I both bought one about a year and a half ago. Since then mine has been stolen three times, and theirs was stolen twice. We tried all sorts of precautions. Now that mine has been taken again, I won't be replacing it.
I know this isn't the fault of Gazelle which is why I give them 5 stars for the bike itself. I love this bike and I wish I still had it, but just can't deal with the stress of owning one.
If you buy one, get good insurance.

Fantastic bike. Built extremely solid. The Gazelle Experience Center was also fantastic.
My Gazelle Citizen Speedpedelec was totally worn out within three years of moderate use. It even had lots of maintenance costs as well. Very disappointing

Gazelle produces really great e-bikes, but they don't provide maintenance or replacement parts on their own. Instead, they have a network of so-called Gazelle «premium» shops – cyclists are supposed to do everything through them: e.g. checkups, repairs, or buying parts. And that's where it all went wrong.
We have two non-cheap e-bikes for around 5 years now, and so we did a handful of regular checkups in those «premium» shops, and we did each checkup in a different shop. Why different? Because each and every of them was such a bad joke, that we never wanted to return to one.
Here are some examples of typical issues after a checkup in Gazelle's certified shops:
- misplaced brakes (tiring against the wheel when not in use)
- misconfigured board computer (e.g. the speedometer is off by 15-20%)
- damaged parts or decorative elements
- failing to lubricate moving parts (squeaking after a maintenance, uh-huh)
- using random-branded replacement parts instead of OEM/original ones
- leaving some plastic packaging inside the steering (impaired right turns)
That is... if they still remember about your appointment when you bring your bike in – it's kind of a gamble.
After the first checkup, we have never had our bikes in «as good as new» condition. We managed to re-repair most of the issues left by those so-called «skilled and trained» mechanics, but we could not fix them all – because one cannot, for example, just buy all the needed original parts or access the computer configuration.
I have shared this feedback with Gazelle, but they only wanted to call some particular shop (out of all we tried) and not to address the systemic issue. They also won't allow a private person to take their certification for a purpose of maintaining own bike.
I wish I never trusted the Gazelle's after-purchase support in the first place. Sadly, it seems that I'm not buying an expensive Gazelle bike again. Not until they start caring about what these shops really do to the bikes, or allowing doing everything ourselves
P.S. You ought to address the systemic issue, Gazelle. Not just take it with the specific dealers. I can see the appeal of fixing it locally in the short term, but I believe it won't make any difference in a few years. That's such a shame because the original quality was truly amazing

The customer service wasn't helpful, not providing with solutions and not explaining clearly.
One time the the customer service agent hang up the phone...
Also, the invoice I received was wrong, I called to explain this and I still haven't received the updated invoice for the bike.
Finally on your website you mentioned that the bike was in stock and that will be available to pick up within 2 weeks and I got it after 3 weeks. However, you withdrawal the money immediately after the order and not after 3 weeks with the pick up...
