Tried to cancel my subscription

Tried to cancel my subscription which was a long process as it is, after going through a few emails back and forth they told me it was cancelled just to then see the money come out my account for the next months box again - impossible to cancel & cheap products inside

After a very long time decided to purchase one off February subscription box on the 1st day of the month as it had some good items plus free gift (being the main reason for subscribing).
Free gift did not turn up! I raised it Glossybox customer service who advised this offer was not available even though Glossybox was promoting this on their website and emails. To date apparently they are still investigating this to see what happened! No resolution. Replies from their customer service feel like automated. This is so unprofessional and feel defrauded..not sure how the company is getting away with this...

I’d give 0 stars if I could!!!

I’d give 0 stars if I could!!!

I’ve had a monthly subscription since Sep 2024 and whilst at that time I was aware that it was a 12 month commitment, I wasn’t aware that a new 12 month subscription would be activated in Sep 2025 without any kind of reminder prior to this!!! I’ve now tried to cancel my subscription and have been told that I have to pay for a further 6 months despite querying the selling terms and conditions!!!

There is very little information provided about this up front and they make it impossible to cancel or turn off auto renew!!! Never again!!!

Loved the look of the contents of this…

Loved the look of the contents of this box, and I'm quite happy with use of all but one product, the Mascara was bone dry and on opening it the brush stayed inside the tube, disappointed 😞 gutted when there's a let down! Still looking forward to next months box though 😆

Beware the customer service is awful…

Beware the customer service is awful and also beware of an auto renew system .
I purchased my first box in Dec 24 and have paid every month since .
On 9 th Jan I asked to cancel my subscription as I contracted contact dermatitis ,maybe from a product.
I have seen a dermatologist and been told to stop all products and just use emollient for 8-12 weeks and then unperfumed products so I will not be able to use any new products.
I had a reply saying would you stay if we give you a free box to which I said no I wanted to cancel,this message stated that if I didn't want a free box my contract would be cancelled .
Perfect until February's box turned up
Since then I have been told that I have to continue paying for another 8 months as my contract auto renewed in December without any knowledge or notification.
I have tried to reply back and explain but I just get another automated email.
You can't speak to anyone
Appalling service
