Bye bye!

Absolute lack of professionalism. Amsterdam Noord, Buikslotermeerplein. This afternoon, the man working in the shop actually told us that their prices are very high and suggested we go to the competitor across the street instead. So we did - and happily spent our money there.

For context: we were coming from the gym, so no fancy clothes 🤣 Apparently, that was enough for the seller (a man in his 60s) to judge us instead of treating us like customers. Basic customer service clearly isn’t about appearances, but he still hasn’t learned that.

Congrats, you’ve just lost at least 10 potential customers.

Highly satisfied customer from UK

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the service we received. Staff were very friendly helpful professional and polite. We received excellent advice and recommendations. The price was very good. Would highly recommend.

Grand Optical Eindhoven was going to…

Grand Optical Eindhoven was going to order new glasses for my sunglasses. Now its over 3 months later and they have never ordered it. They still have my money and refuse to return it. I have been twice to the store to inquire about the glasses but they do not have it maybe they never ordered it. SCAMMERS!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST

A dedicated customer

I have been a customer at Grand Optical for the past eight years. The personalized, knowledgeable and supportive attention Tina has provided is what keeps me coming back each time I am in need of new lenses. Her style of customer service is supportive but not pushy, always providing space to explore and making herself available when questions arise. What can be an overwhelming experience selecting new frames is made easy with Tina. I am grateful for her dedication and excellent service.

The nose pads on my spectacles bite…

The nose pads on my spectacles bite deeply on the nose bridge. The staff at Grand Optical near Gare Central adjusted it and offered to clean the lens. What's more, they kindly refused payment for the service. Thank you.

Yann is a fantastic optician!

Yann is fantastic. He is meticulous to ensure that you get the right pair of glasses. This time we got a progressive pair of glasses for my mom. He was very patience to explain how to use this new pair of glasses since it might differ due to the long and short vision. Thankful to have an optician like him. Will keep coming back!

Don't make an appointment, waste of time.

I made an appointment for 11:30 to order new glasses. I arrived on time and I see 2 people waiting before me, at least an hour of waiting!
Not professional at all.
I was in a hurry because I have a lot of work and finally I wasted my time and I don't have my new glasses!

Dont buy glasses from Grand Optical - Mall of Cyprus

I bought a pair of optical glasses. Upon payment the young lady put the glasses in a cloth but not a hard case. I asked the worker for a hard case but she replied saying it does not come with a hard case. I was shocked as I have purchase all sorts of glasses from Cyprus, Turkey and London and I have never been sold a pair of glasses without a case. I was very disappointed. İt was obvious she did not want to give me a case.

I went downstairs of the mall, there was another store who sells sunglasses but no optical glasses. İnfact they reffered me to your store in the first place. I explained the issue to them and they were disgusted and shocked by the matter. They gave me a hard case for free even though I did not buy the glasses from them.

I will never return to your store as a customer and I will not recommend. I hope you will address the issue so other customers don’t experience the same thing.

Luxembourg stores charging more than double than the online prices

Today I made a purchase at a store for eyeglasses and lenses. Each lenses had a cost of 190Eur (per eye excluding frames). When checking online, the same lenses had a cost of 62.50 EUR. When checking with the employee a clear answer for the price difference wasn’t given and after checking with the manager they informed me that this was due to measurements and assistance at the store. How is possible such a big difference if the same product is sold online for less 240EUR? I believe Luxembourg stores should be audited/investigated. The service at the store was good and I understand that the employees just follow the internal policies.

Terrible service, unmotivated staff.

Has lovely designs and great brands, but the service was way below average. The staff clearly couldn't care less if you bought a pair of glasses from them or not. I opted for Acuitis in the end because of the excellent service and friendly staff, even though the frames were more stylish in Grand Optical. For the prices they ask it is unacceptable to have such service.
