Looked at the app after seeing it…

Looked at the app after seeing it advertised on Facebook. Downloaded and listened for about 10 minutes, then quit and never opened it again. Just got a notification that my card was charged $85+ for 6 month recurring subscription. Immediately started searching for a way to contact their customer service and attempted to cancel and refund. Saw this site was numerous people who’ve had the same experience. Will have to dispute the charge on my card unless they issue a refund. Don’t have very high hopes, based on the reviews on this page.

Hypnozio uses deceptive billing…

Hypnozio uses deceptive billing practices. I was charged today for a subscription renewal that I was unaware of. I asked for a cancellation and a refund for the charge that was made today.
The customer support person cancelled my subscription but would not refund me. The message i received "Unfortunately, as your recent charge falls outside the 30-day refund window outlined in our Terms and Conditions, we are unable to process a refund for this payment. For further details, you can review our Terms and Conditions, which include information about subscriptions and refund policies."
I think that a good company sends an email letting you know that the subscription is coming up for renewal and allows you to cancel and a great company would refund the money, especially if the renewal took place the same day.

Money grabbers

2 auto renewing billings set up initially without consent, one got cancelled successfully. Then the other one kept running despite me cancelling my subscription via the app and closing my account.
I had no access to the account, and assumed all fine until low and behold another charge comes in. I try to look at it and obviously have no access, infact it stated no account linked to that email.
Auto renewal now cancelled but very unhappy with the issues raised and the way it was handled.
For a service that is meant to assist with peoples mental health, what they have done is cause more stress and issues.

Warning. You can’t get refund

A couple of the sessions worked but most did not. I could not get a refund because you have to cancel at exactly 30 days. I cancelled and can’t access sessions or get a prorated amount back. It cost me $85 for 32 days.

Mystery charges on credit card months after canceling and no way to receive refund or any answers as to why

After canceling the $36.80 subscription after 1 month, I randmomly was charged again 5 months later for $46. I emailed support requesting a refund since I did not authorize the charge. I was told the subscription was outside of the 30 day initial charge and so could not be refunded. When emailed again saying I had already canceled the subsctiption back in October, was then told it was not a subscription but a "1 time lifetime purchase"!??? I emailed again, saying I had NOT authorized a purchase or been on their app or website for many months. Asked what it was that had been purchased for $46 and again asked for a refund.
No answer to what the $46 was for....just a automated repeat of the last response that they do not offer refunds. This is a SCAM and there is no actual customer service. Can't help but wonder how many others are losing money...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.

I fully committed to the Hypnozio program. I listened exactly as instructed — 3 to 4 times per week — for over 8 hours in total. I followed every guideline and genuinely gave it a proper chance to work.

Unfortunately, the sessions felt vague. They were overly drawn out and never delivered a clear, impactful message that addressed my desire to stop drinking. I kept expecting a breakthrough moment in the next session, but it never came. Instead, the script changed every three sessions, which made the process feel inconsistent and fragmented rather than reinforcing a strong core message.

I also struggled with the narration style. The voice felt distracting rather than soothing, which made it difficult to fully relax and engage with the program.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the refund policy. One of the main reasons I felt confident trying Hypnozio was the advertised money-back guarantee. However, because I contacted them outside the strict 30-day window, there was absolutely no flexibility or consideration — despite the clear effort and commitment I had put into the program.

A guarantee only feels meaningful when there is some level of goodwill behind it. In my case, there was none.

If you’re considering this program, monitor your progress closely and be very aware of the 30-day deadline. If you feel it isn’t working, act quickly — there appears to be no exceptions.

This may work for some people, but in my experience it did not deliver results, and the rigid refund policy made the situation even more disappointing.

Hypnozio does Auto renewal of…

Hypnozio does Auto renewal of subscription. The customer can’t see on the app if and for what they are subscribed so you pretty much find out you are subscribed the day they bill you.
Hypnozio unwilling to reverse the charges and just refers you back to terms and conditions. Not a great way to encourage customers to resubscibe, in fact its a good product but due to the billing and subscription I will not recommend it to anybody. If I could give zero stars i would.

Hypnozio offers a discount but there are hidden extra costs for programms you originaly didn't request or buy.

And the price is not even displayed.

This is a bad surprise when you check the invoice.

Stay away

I always check subscriptions on my Iphone app to make sure none has gone in unnoticed. This app was not listed. Yet money was deducted and when reaching out to them to cancel, they confirmed cancellation, but refuse to refund a clear mistake as it is in their terms and conditions!
The company is desperate and the app not even useful.
Will hope and pray that they have indeed cancelled.

I have also tried to contact to cancel AGAIN as they are still taking money and now the emails are bouncing back! Six months ago I was told it was cancelled!!!

Binge eating & sleepless nights !!

I used the app for around 6 months because of my binge eating and poor sleep. I have lost 4 stone in just over 12 months by eating healthy meals and not bingeing. I have tried so many things over the years and I truly believe that this has helped me enormously.
If I get into bad habits again and start to put on weight I will sign up for a subscription again.

I just completed my first 2 sessions. So far, I am totally sleepy! I want to go back to bed now---lol.

I enjoyed how quickly I was able to relax during the sessions. Even though I was aware of background noises in my home, like my cat and dog, I was distracted for only a moment and then the voice just assisted me to get right back into what he was saying. Very pleased.
