Indesit cooker 3 years old and condenser dryer 15months old, both need replacing as the cooker cremates everything and the bearings are going in the dryer. How can this company be allowed to continue trading and ripping people off 😡

I wouldn’t even give the customer service one star, if it gave me the option! I spoke to Steve at customer service, a made a complaint about a manufacturing fault, was told they have an internal complaints process and it will be dealt with! No further details for the customer making the complaint, no turn around time for the complaint! A ridiculous response! How can there be no feedback for the person who made the complaint! I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying there products as the if there are any issues you will just get fobbed off and the customer service is an absolute nightmare!

Oven has failed 13 months after purchase and they are not willing to fix it. Absolute scam that make poorly built ovens so they know they will fail to make money from repairs. No oven and children to feed. Left in a lurch. Will be contacting trade and standards

Customer service is appalling. I purchased a washing machine from Indesit. Within 3 months the machine stopped working. The helpline is a joke, they just try to sell you more insurance products. Booked a repair, the first available time was 9 days after I called the helpline. I told them it was a door fault, yet the engineer arrived with no parts to fix a door fault. Was told the part would need to be ordered, the part came in the next day (as they emailed me to tell me) then tried to book the engineer again, only to find out that there are no appointments for another 11 days. So 20 days to make a simple door catch repair on a washing machine. In the meantime all of our washing has to be done at the launderette, and 2 days have to be taken off work. It would have been cheaper to just buy another washing machine.

First and last time owning an Indesit. 6 month old machine flooded my kitchen due to a crack in the drum (no coins or metal objects get left in pockets). It’s now nearly 3 weeks without a washing machine. A new drum has been ordered. My mum’s first washing machine lasted nearly 30 years. Completely unacceptable

We've had an indesit push and go washer for years and when it needed replacement decided to opt for the same again. Unfortunately it's been improved 😼. The buttons have been replaced by touch sensitive (not) flat squares and are extremely difficult to use when you have arthritis. Also the labelling on the front of the washer is now a pale blue/grey which means mum can't even read it due to cataracts. The programs seem to have a mind of their own as well and pay no attention to the timer.
Think this will be replaced before long and I'll avoid indesit in future

EDIT: yesterday I put a couple of pairs of joggers and 3 fleece waistcoats in on a 59 minute program, it took 4 and a half hours! Then I had to spin twice (1400) and there were still wet patches on them. Tomorrow I am going to the shops to buy a new one, can't even donate this as I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy (22/01/26)

Bought an Indesit washing machine to replace my Hotpoint. Never had an Indesit before and never will again. It has had problems from the start, sometimes I only get 1 wash done as it has taken up to 6 hours to do a wash. Crap Frustrating cheap machine, I am going to replace this one now for a proper one !

The oven door keeps coming off it is not even three years old. The bolts and screws keeping it up are tiny and not suitable for the weight and size of the door. Whoever designed this could not have been an engineer !

Had engineers come out today Mohammed sorry don’t know other name who also came out too fix my washing machine ..but they was very kind and did great job fixing my washing machine thank you . Also I was upset as I have had a lot going on and they listened did there job and was very kind thank you

Customer service is shocking. 2 hrs waiting to answer. Once conected passed from pillar to post. Last caller said line poor will call you right back hang up. No returned call. Will use my local repairer and avoid indersit going forward. Electrofix called appointment 2 days phone call duration with electrofix 2 mins in total.
Dont buy indersit or its sell sell service products . Rubbish!

Bought an Indesit washing machine to replace my fantastic 20 year old Zanussi 1400 because on paper it was a direct match with a bigger load.
Here’s the BUT - the 1400 spin can only be accessed by using the exceedingly long wash programs or you run a shorter program and then have to ask it to do the 1400 spin.
Btw the 1200 spin leaves clothes TOO WET for the tumble dryer.
Apparently we can put men on the moon but Indesit cannot link a 1400 spin to a shorter washing program whereas Zanussi were doing this 20 years ago!

I bought a dishwasher from them. The dishwasher itself works well, although the construction is flimsy, and the door flexes. However, what really got on my nerves, is that they sold my telephone number to a cold caller. 2 hours after registering my warranty with them, I received an unsolicited call from Domestic and General with some automated voice trying to flog something or other. Very poor show

Bought a washing machine a few weeks ago and never in my years of using washing machines have I had such rubbish,bought it through Argos, never again.
The programs are ridiculous and it sounds like a second hand machine.
Don't waste your money 🤑

bought an induction hob and the side clips will not fit without an amount of force that will damage the hob and probably injure me. Yet another example of very poor design.

Piece of rubbish in all aspects...all my clothes get out with soap marks, but still dirty, weird absolute long washing programs, very difficult filter cleaning operation.

Following on from almost all the other reviews, we bought an Indesit fridge freezer about 10 months ago. It runs cold all the time and the thermostat clearly isn’t working properly. I phone for a repair, which took 45 mins as the extremely rude and patronising agent insisted on telling me all his problems with management restructuring and then tried terribly hard to sell me appliance insurance. When I insisted on a repair visit under warranty, he threatened me with a £125 call out fee if the engineer decided there was no fault.
I cancelled the appointment and have decided to put it down to experience and get an appliance owned by a dedicated company (Bosch). Indesit is owned by Hotpoint who are owned by Whirlpool. They have no complaints process, and don’t even acknowledge or respond to negative reviews on this site. Tells me all I need to know. Just wish I’d looked at Trustpilot before I bought the appliance!

Microwave oven requires repair under warranty just keep getting spare is not available why can they not remove the part from an existing appliance or provide a replacement or not use the spare to manufacture another dodgy appliance and let me have it refuse to believe they have no spares ongoing 2 months don't do indesit aka whirlpool I beleive

Absolutely awful, shrunk all my clothes even on cold washes. Worst washing machine for that reason. Hardly any hot washes available on this machine. This is after one year of use

Atrocious Customer Service - impossible to reach by phone, email, WhatsApp Chat or Live Chat. The chat options took a minimum of 30 minutes between responses which is ridiculous. My complaint with them is due to damage caused by one of their engineers. Truly hopeless but I am nothing if not determined.

Never again will I buy indesit
This washing machine h-wash 300 lite is a piece of garbage and should be removed from the market altogether I've had issues for over 6 months the washing machine is just 1 year old I will be buying a new 1 by a different company steer clear of this brand waste of money
