This Chinese saying really reflect my son’s journey working with My Ingenious since grade 9, we are very impressed with their professionalism! The consultant Karen is extremely supportive to Karl which almost becoming his 2nd 🧑 who deeply care and challenges Karl to become his best of himself, we all very trust her and Nam’s opinions whenever we facing challenge situations we can depend on their experiences to guild, coaching and mentoring Karl. For us Ingenius role is not only support Karl go his university application but more a powerful supporting team behind him which make him grow step by step. As parents we witness Karl’s growth, we appreciate we have being working with Karen together with the whole ingenius team in the past almost 4 years! By today Karl has received his dream school offer from the university and I am fully confident that Karl has been fully prepared for his university life.

Staffs at InGenius have been very helpful and responsive, with up-to-date application information and process, professional services, we highly recommend if you have children who are planning to apply for US colleges.

InGenius was invaluable to helping my child get into her dream school. Her GC Shuyuan especially helped in keeping her accountable. Shuyuan was well-organized, knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions, even at the most unconventional hours. We were very impressed by her work ethic and communication skills. My application Counselor, Natalia, provided me with invaluable insights and read (dozens of) my supplemental essay drafts, providing thoughtful feedback. Her empathy and vast knowledge of the application process were an incredible support that I would wish for any student.

We partnered with InGenius team for the last six months (from June to December) of the college application season. The experience was excellent and our kid got into her dream school. The college application has become much more complicated and challenging, especially if the target school is in top 10. While our kid has built very solid foundations in academic and ECs, it was also critical to plan the right strategy and focus on every details of the process. The InGenius team did a wonderful job in assisting our kid through this journey.

InGenius DC Area Office Director Crystal Wang brought me to InGenius. At that time, my friend also introduced me to another organization which helped her son get into a top Ivy League School. However, Crystal’s presentation about InGenius is so impressive. First, Crystal showed me great records of InGenius and there are so many students went into Ivy League schools. Second, Crystal mentioned that they have a number of former admission officers who know what the admission office looks at. Third, Crystal showed us the research programs InGenius provides. Fourth, Crystal mentioned that students directly interact with former admission officer and graduate coach, they not only help students prepare for college application, but also trains students how to interact with others via the whole process which is very necessary for both college application and future social life. Fifth,Crystal told us that progress manager coordinates the students with former admission officer and graduate coach and updates parents each step of the process. Furthermore, Crystal is so considerate and so responsive and resolved all my concerns and needs. I am a good lawyer and I am very picky, but I am very satisfied with Crystal and decided to engage InGenius to help my son with his college application. Crystal tried her best to get me the best team possible to help my son. Yutong Duan is the best progress manager we could ever have. She is not only very diligent to perform her regular responsibilities, but also went out of her way to provide extremely valuable suggestions to us which is very important for my son’s college application. Working with my team at InGenius Prep, Zach Sweeney (Graduate Coach), Wes Mills (FAO), and Zak Harris, has been one of the most impactful parts of my entire college application journey. I had an amazing time working with my FAO, GC, and progress manager. They were always there to help me plan out my activities and summer plans. They were also super helpful with essays, providing feedback and replying to my messages very promptly. I was able to get into my first choice, UPenn, through Early Decision, and I'm so happy that I got to work with IGP!

Throughout the entire CB process, my FAO was super supportive in our biweekly meetings and offered crucial insight and judgement into activities to pursue, summer schools to attend, etc. and provided me with plenty of information to make my own call. And during application season, my meetings with my FAO and GC really helped shaped my PS into a workable story as I was struggling to produce something for quite a few weeks, and we were able to refine the PS to a very nice narrative! My GC always gave really insightful feedback for the supps, and I could always reach out to her for questions. My FAO offered super close reviews of FR materials, especially fixing many details in the AL. Overall, it was a pleasure working with this team, and I'm so glad we've achieved a great result.

I initially learned about InGenius Prep through their webinars and found them to be very knowledgeable in the college admissions process. I talked with Kristen Flanagan, their assistant managing director several times before committing to their college advising service. Kristen was very patient and knowledgeable with my questions.

The advantage of InGenius over other college admissions services is that your student will have a team to support and encourage them throughout the process from selecting a list of schools that match their strengths and interests to keeping them on track with their essays and application deadlines. Abby and Kimberly were not only knowledgeable, but incredibly kind and patient. The amount of work that is required for college applications can be overwhelming during senior year and they helped our student stay on track with the entire process without my having to be involved much, and I can be the parent who cheers them on and not have to bug them constantly about getting their essays written:)

I thought that all of my team was really helpful with the deadlines and writing which I was kind of nervous going into the process. I was also initially nervous about which colleges to apply to but my team helped me understand that if you have a bigger chance if you try than if you don't try at all.

InGenius Prep was invaluable in helping me take my essays to the next level. My GC and FAO have amazing advice and edits. Beyond the essays, the structure that InGenius gave me made the application process a lot easier to handle, especially with the activities list, deadlines, and test scores.

I got to learn how to write about myself and how the college process works. I also enjoyed the process with my counselors. And I am very happy I got into NYU! :)
