Products not available

More and more products that are advertised or common are no longer available or more expensive.
E.G. these Merguez sausages, Beaujolais Primeur, Demi sec Champagne, boudin noir (dutch version). this year I it happened about 12 times.

I would like to make a complaint about Staff

I would like to make a complaint about my last visit to JUMBO store in Voorburg on 18-05-2025 at 02:40 pm.

I received a very discriminative behaviour from one of the staff when I was checking out. The lady abuses me for no reason and show a very disrespectful behaviour. This is totally disgusting and not acceptable.

I made a complaint at same time to the Store supervisor, but I am not satisfied with his behaviour as well. He is trying to protect her.

I am buying from this store for more than a year and being a loyal customer, doesn’t deserve such a derogatory remark. If this is the case, I will think to come back, and this will eventually will not be positive sign on your service.

As a supermarket, the staff should be polite and helping rather than showing an aggressive behaviour. I really feel disappointed, disrespectful, and looking forward to JUMBO Management to tackle this issue in an utmost manner and I really want an apology and strict penalty on the concerned staff member.

Jumbo has gone down in quality and up…

Jumbo has gone down in quality and up with their prices. I am so disappointed in the quality of their food. And they used to be pretty cheap but now they are higher than AH. I’ll go to Lidl or anywhere else.

Just bought sprouts from Jumbo. I cannot eat them, they are so old and smelly. What happened to this supermarket? It used to be a good place to shop.

Received almost expired item.

When ordering online you receive products expiring in 2 days.
If you do a bulky order you would expect to receive stuff expiring in a span of at least one week but no, meat, fish and chicken, everything expiring in 2 days.
Customer service said the can guarantee only 2 days of freshness.

Stay away from jumbo for only, just a bad copy of AH.
What a wast of money.

Worst search engine on their online site

I should have agreed with my brother when he said this is the worst shop ever. Well, their online site is even worse!! The search bar does absolutely NOTHING for you!
You could be searching for a head crown and they sugest a freaking revolver. Like yeah, i would like to use one on myself after that experience, but still.
Nothing that i searched for showed up. Just garbage stuff that i wasn't even close to searching. Thanks for nothing.

Unbelievable supermarket service

The worst experience of my life.We are housebound and rely on outside food sources notably Jumbo.In the
the last few weeks the original order did not arrive and were assured that it would be resent,but it never arrived.
The excuse:that it was delivered at 10.30 pm!!!!!!!
We tried a final time without success.I am going
elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

RACIST BEHAVIORS

I went to the Jumbo Rembrandtweg Amstelveen, purchased grocery about 150 euros, the cashier asked me If my yellow bag is new to charge or not, I said no the bag is mine. The lady told me " LET ME CHECK", check what idiot!! Am I lying for 50 cents of euros and I said the bag is mine!! And she checked it, can you believe it???

Then I started loading my second bag, she again asked If the bag is new or not, I said again "no MINEEEE" !!! She again said let me check!!!!! and she checked again!!!

What kind of behavior is this!!! RACIST!!! or IDIOT!!!! I will complain this to everywhere.

Of course your employees should be aware of everything but this is not IT!!!!!!!!

Supportive and efficient

Jambo have been an excellent agency to work for. They have your interests at heart and are an efficient and diligent team. My contact Nick Briant has been very supportive and has helped me move to a permanent post. Highly recommended.

Jumbo is a bullying brand and I would…

Jumbo is a bullying brand and I would highly recommend not doing online shopping with them. After paying for our online shop (we have proof from ABN AMRO the money was taken from our account and was received by Jumbo's account), we have been hounded by Jumbo and dept collectors (and fines) to pay a bill of 250 euros that we have legal proof we have paid. We have made hundreds of calls and sent hundreds of emails but cannot talk to a manager or get a proper answer from anyone in the klanten service or finance team. After the recent toeslag affair in The Netherlands, I am absolutely shocked by this behaviour by a supposedly family brand. Their bullying behaviour is abhorrent.

Awful service

My order should've been delivered between 11 and 14.00, but it wasn't. I waited an extra hour, I was late from work, but it still haven't arrived. And all they could do about it was apologising. There was no way to deliver it the next day, I have to make a new order. What kind of awful service is this???

Piece of s..t!!! Woking hours depends on the employee! Open hours are not the same like they shown!!! Many times I was with 2 hours before they close and I kissed their doors, was closed!!!!

Supermarket that tries to go woke by cancelling meat discounts and telling you to consume less meat.
What's next, grasshoppers and mealworms while the CEO dines on Wagyu every night?
The last thing anyone needs, is a supermarket telling you how to live your life.
Never coming back here again.

Book-jumbo.com is a scam. They have testimonials from known authors saying how fantastic they are...I contacted four of the authors and none of them had ever heard of book-jumbo.com. Beware DO NOT USE.

For the 4th time but products which…

For the 4th time but products which were rotten. Bought the day befor yesterday 2 packages of almonds. The nuts were old and had a molt taste. Because this was the 4th time I bought something off at Jumbo, I deceide this time to return them. The guy behaind the counter was extremely arrogant and stated that on the back of the package the expire date was the end of October and thus he did not want to take them back. It is not about the 5 EUR, but the way the handled it. Last time I have visited Jumbo and will inform friends and family to stay far away from Jumbo

Let me share me experience with this wurst shop ever.jumbo at 40-45 plein.to day after work visit this shop like every day after work go to bet toto and buy some stuff.I have won ticket for 45,30€ and I want bet again 45€ on champion league to night.so I give her the ticket and scan another two ticket.she take out money from casa and put in the table don’t understand why she did because win 45,30€ and bet again 45€ so don’t know why she take out of the casa.then she give those two ticket and take the money from table and put back.I am turned around and want go inside shop.the moment she tell me I am still 20€ from the table!I didn’t touch anything but she still saying I am still 20€!she call the security’s than we go to do office.security guy want to see me bag I am told hem no he is no allowed to ask for those thing I am told him call the police.then he start look at the camera and what a surprise there was no prove I am still this 20€!so more then 30 minut they keep me there because she is so stupid and don’t know to even count money.if is up to me that lady must be fired right now because said to client with out any proof I am stealing 20€ it’s really disgusting!this was no first time there is always problem because me color of skin is to white for these people who work there!guys give you good advice don’t go there if you don’t want get f u c k up with those smart people!

Jumbo Nieuwegein
