Tried to contact numerous times by…

Tried to contact numerous times by email, no response, by phone which then cuts out after about 20 seconds. Originally just wanted to know the run time on a full tank of fuel for the new generator! After three days of using for my new business it had problems starting, on the fourth day unable to start at all, still can’t start even though we have looked at everything they say in the manual. Had to hire one at an extra cost for a new business. Emailed to say I want a full refund because if it stops working after 3 days then I have no trust in the product and without the generator I am unable to run my business. Emailed but no reply as yet! Would not recommend or trust this company. Out of pocket by around £650 and the cost of hiring another generator!

Can see like most people have said, we ordered a faulty generator . Have emailed and phoned numerous times with no answer.

8.5kw petrol generator

Hi

We have recently purchased an 8.5kw petrol generator from your website . We used it to power a few lights whist camping when after approximately 1 hour it stopped producing power . We have had a professional engineer look into the problem and he said that the alternator was not working. I have noticed another review discribing an almost identical scenario . We also have tried to send you an email regarding this but the email keeps bouncing back saying domain not found .
We feel we are entitled to a full refund of this product as it was not fit for purpose

This was my first purchase from KraftDecker, and I’m really impressed. The packaging was secure, the tools feel durable, and their customer service was quick to respond to a question I had. Definitely a brand I’ll buy from again.

Poor service… poor quality - save your money

Recently purchased a generator from kraft decker, the 8.5kW AVR Soundproof Petrol Generator less than a week ago.

Literally turns on yet doesn't produce any power. Emailed and phoned to have no answer regarding the generator and even sent videos to show the issue. Had a mechanic look at the generator and it turns out it has a none working alternator.

Currently trying to contact them regarding this, yet again, no answer.

Save your money, dont buy from these.

Following up from this, no contact has been made by Kraft decker when It comes to the faults with there generator. Currently out of pocket due to having to buy a new generator due to faults with theres. No contact regarding return or any help, shameful behaviour from a company.

When I asked questions about my…

When I asked questions about my purchase I didn’t recieve any answers and when I rang it was an answering machine that cut out after 20 seconds without any information good thing about company I got quick refund for all my money

I ordered the product on 22nd April…

I ordered the product on 22nd April 2025 and only received confirmation of a sent to courier on 28th April 2025.

The courier then confirmed delivery will be 7th May 2025....over 2 weeks to receive it. Not good.

Follow up from my previous review

Follow up from my previous review. Finally received my generator a little late but it arrived only to be the wrong one. I ordered a 7.2kw and got a 5.2kw that is a few hundred pounds cheaper than the one paid for. I have sent two emails now one yesterday and one today as they say they will be in touch within 24hrs. I've tried calling them on both days but the line cuts out after 20 seconds or so. Their website says trusted but I'm beginning to wonder about that now. Hopefully we can sort it out but let's see.

After verification, we confirm that the model you received is indeed the KW6500 8.5KW, as indicated on your order.

The 5.2KW label indicates the maximum power available on the blue 230V outlet. This is not the total power of the generator. To benefit from the maximum power of 8.5KW, you must use the red 380V (three-phase) outlet, which is designed to handle the full load.

Therefore, there was no error in the product shipment, but we understand that this information may have caused confusion. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you need assistance connecting or using the generator in the best conditions.
