CORRUPT & INCOMPETENT COMPANY
Totally incompetent and corrupt - fabricated charges at the end of the lease and refused to accept irrefutable evidence of service history from the main dealer quoted the usual BVRLA guidelines and minor scratches are charged at extortionate rates, all tyres above legal limits but still massive charges at the end of the contract. Do not listen to feedback and feel like I have been scammed by both Manheim the collection company and Leasys.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had leasing a car. Terrible customer service with constant delays, and then an eye watering amount of additional charges for the smallest scratch.

Dreadful company. Ongoing issues since early 2025 regarding my bank details being leaked to another customer and then regarding early termination - more delays and no solutions. Have emailed solutions regarding a settlement dating back to the 5th August it’s now 22nd October and I’ve not heard anything - 4 emails have been sent. There’s busy… there’s ignorant and poor customer service…. Then there’s Leasys. Who take that to a whole new level
If you have had your car collected by Leasys... Cancel your direct debit with them ASAP.
5 star scammers. Really good at what they do after they have they have collected the car via ManHeim or whatever their partners in crime are called.
Bill you incorrect invoices.
Send you information for the car that was not even yours. Ignore your emails. Fob you off on the phone by saying they are really short staffed.
If they invoiced me fairly I would pay the moneys owed.
But they have tried to scam me by saying there was a service report missing so £350 charge. Then they send me a car delivery document of a different car trying to convince me that I signed to say delivery mileage was only 5 miles... Rather than the actual 400+. Their lie got caught out because their speeding delivery driver got caught near London somewhere on the morning of the delivery. I live over 150 miles away from London. So how can the delivery mileage be 5.

If there was a zero star I would have selected it. 54 on time payments and they're trying to charge for 3 service stamps from the car dealership, which the car was serviced privately with proof (which is totally within line of the agreement). I also have proof of the sale of the car when it went to auction and they ended up 1750 in pocket, due to the demand, following the sale. They also didn't cover a manufacturer fault of the known clutch pipe issue. The breakdown service was appalling, they left my wife stranded for 3 hours in Manchester. Stay away from Leasys. They are cowboys and bullies and will go to any lengths. And by the reviews they are getting won't be around for long. Stay away from Leasys.
This started in December 2023, and they come back every 10 months, they're a joke and a bunch of scam artists! Stay away.

When I got the car I thought all was well.
But After checking it more .
The car had no sat nav or heads up screen as stated on the advertisement when I ordered the car.
When I informed them they didnt really seem to care and left me to contact the manufactuer to try and sort something out, They did try to help. But the dealership they sent the car too didnt care as it wouldnt make them much money via the warranty to fix it.
Leasys offered me £239 good will gesture April 2024 ,But as yet I have not got that either.
Its a shame as the car is nice, but spoilt by not having what it stated. But this company just keep sending me to different departments in a circle.

Person who inspected da vehicle said top condition only few scratches on trims maximum u looking @ £200 fine month later after they send me invoice of £2200
For damages £1800 for service which was serviced damaged key £200 & £200 for trims which I agree after arguing they voided £1800 they still want £400 £200 for keys which was not damaged but now I’m not gonna give them single penny for the stress they cause me 4 two months

I want to warn everyone who is thinking about renting a car with Leasys: Don’t do it! In the end, it feels like being completely violated. This company has no respect for its customers. You can expect zero service — but you’ll definitely be expected to pay, and not a small amount either. BEWARE OF FRAUD! For those negotiating the contracts, their own commission is more important than the well-being of the customers. Warning, warning, warning!!!

Avoid at all costs!
I returned my Lease car, after having several in the past with other companies, I expected a charge as I had lost the spare key, parcel shelf, and had a scuff on an alloy.
They charged me for 2 new tyres (even though they were above legal limit as per the agreement) and 2 services (despite having full service history in the car!)
They use Manheim Auctions to collect their cars, who completely exaggerate every detail. The car was in immaculate condition apart from the one alloy scuff. They take their word over their customers word.
I was charged just over £950 for two services and two tyres which did not need to be charged. Then Leasys representative ‘Anum’ sent me a copy and paste email they send to anyone who complains about charges - saying ‘tough luck, take it to Alternative Dispute Resolution’.
Deplorable service and I will never use Leasys again, and urge you not to.

My first experience of private vehicle lease. Very competitive prices, excellent communication and possibly the best customer service i’ve every received with an online company

Unexpected renewal fees. Overcharged without explanation. Unprofessional staff. Rude customer support.
i raised a Trustpilot review a few weeks ago and their reply asked me to contact them. I did by email and to date have had no reply. This company is seriously a joke. I have someone looking into them and they cannot believe they supposedly have been highly commended by Business Motoring Awards 2025, really, can you trust these recommendations? It seems there are several Leasys UK pages on Trustpilot and when their ratings get bad, they just open up another page. Is this legal?
i have now had a reply from Rizwan. Guess what, after they have asked me to contact them about the review, they have sent the exact same email back to me as before. Why ask me to contact you?

After a bit of research, i have been informed that the company they use for the collections are also the auction company of the cars. This is obviously unethical because by raising high unwarranted repair costs devalue the vehicle which there sister company can they sell on and make massive profits.

Overall, for me at least, the in contract leasing experience was ok and comparible to the service I’ve received from other leasing firms. I’ve leased 12 cars in the past 8 years.
The trouble starts during the collection process, which seems to be a very common issue reading the other reviews.
Leasys use a company called Manheim to collect and inspect their cars.
They are absolutely forensic in their inspection, using every means possible to find any way possible to recharge for ‘damage’, obviously incentivised by Leasys. It’s an absolute racket and like nothing I’ve experienced with any other car return.
I’m certain they will quote BVRLA guidelines, however they apply them in a way no other leasing company does.
To add to the ignominy, Manheim mismanaged the collection resulting in delays to the return, which led to additional months lease payments.
It has been a very costly and distressing experience.
Be warned DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Avoid this company at all costs.
Corrupt and fabricate charges.
I have a long list of things they scammed me over and at the end of my lease was cheaper to purchase the terrible fiat 500 rather than return it.
They had no log of me even leasing g the vehicle at one point which is insane. They didn’t know I still had the car until I rang up to complain about the quality of vehicle.
They chose when they would take payments and often missed months then took multiple payments in one go.
They owed me credit notes but instead of giving me the money back they took the money from my account.
They never sent me the log book for ownership of the car and I’m fighting with them for months via email and phone just to get a response.
I’ve never had so much stress with a car and honestly they caused me so much worry and financial strain.
Honestly please avoid this company they are so unreliable.
Quality of my car was appauling and for a new car I had to pay out over a grand for suspension and engine issues.
When you make complaints nobody answers.
It took me 3 months to get a response back and then it was ridiculous.
I’m still waiting for my log book for the car I own 4 months later.
A joke of a company.

An awful company by every possible metric. Avoid. Seriously avoid or will you be unfairly and unjustifiably out of pocket with no recourse. How they still exist is beyond me.

Car delivered 8th April with 350 miles on the clock and by 15th April car had developed a red diagnostic fault and would not start. The RAC found MANY diagnostic faults and advised me to take the car straight to dealer as undriveable. Vauxhall dealer unable to offer an appointment until end of May and unable to provide a courtesy car until Vauxhall garage confirm fault through their own diagnostic check. When I raised a complaint with Vauxhall I was told to go to the motor ombudsman.
Complaint raised with Leasys customer relations team on 16th April and assigned to an AJ though as yet still to receive any form of communication from AJ or Leasys other than an email to leave a review here!
Do yourself a favour and please do not lease a car through Leasys, it’s just not worth all the stress and anxiety. I’m on my third week of no transport and Leasys couldn’t care less but are happy to continue taking payment.
