Great phone insurance.

I have been using this company for a few years now. It had the lowest quote and it was so easy to use. I upgraded my phone last year and tried other companies but this was the best cover so I stayed with them and I was pleased to see my monthly cost did not change. Highly recommended.

I spoke to Daniel today and honestly couldn’t be happier with the service. He was super informative, very polite, professional and incredibly patient while explaining everything clearly to me. Setting up the policy was straight…

Setting up the policy was straight forward but I did have issues verifying my device as possibly picture quality wasn't good enough. My advice is give the phone a good clean then take picture in daylight or with extra lighting so it's clear image

Travel insurance for pre existing conditions

Bought travel insurance online through comparison website, good quality Defaqto cover and considerably cheaper than anyone else for pre existing conditions. Hopefully won’t need to claim on it but cover looks good and process was easy.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m really sorry to hear how frustrating the photo process has felt . We completely understand that it can seem awkward trying to photograph one phone with another device and then send it over.

To give a bit of context, when you took out your policy you entered a proof of purchase date of 19/05/2025. For devices that are over 180 days old at the point of purchase, we’re required to carry out a quick verification check before cover can be fully validated.

This simply involves:

• A clear photo of the entire phone (front, back and edges visible)
• The IMEI displayed on the screen
• The device shown without a case or cover

The reason for this is to confirm there’s no pre-existing damage, as unfortunately we’re unable to cover damage that was already present before the policy started. This verification step applies to all customers with devices over a certain age, so we can ensure cover is fair and consistent for everyone.

The first image we received didn’t show the full device clearly, so we weren’t able to validate it. The second image still had the case on, and we do ask for cases to be removed so we can see the phone in its original condition and ensure nothing is being hidden.

At the moment, we just need one further clear image that meets the requirements and we’ll be able to complete the validation. If emailing from a computer is difficult, you can also email directly from another smartphone or tablet if that’s easier.

If you’re still having trouble, please get in touch with our Customer Experience Team and we’ll happily guide you through it step-by-step as we really don’t want this to be a stressful process for you.
