Thank you to Jason Williams at Marquis Surrey for recovering my confidence in the company. I bought a Mobilvetta K-Yacht Techno Line 80 nearly a year ago, and it was agreed at purchase that 3 cushions in my van would be replaced for new ones. Although this had been agreed and documented, nothing happened.
Fortunately Jason stepped in and resurrected the process which should have been commenced in March last year. I now have my new cushions as promised, which will make this year’s touring season that bit nicer.

Marquis have just been ordered by Trust Pilot to remove their deceptive '5 star Trust Pilot looking' branding on their website!!! In addition they have challenged every review I have written giving 1 star, which I believe is an attempt to get them taken off. DO NOT BUY from Marquis. Massive number of faults on my brand new caravan and months and months until they could get parts to rectify issues. Dreadful customer service with calls/emails not returned and never an apology. I made a big mistake buying from them and should have read the hundreds of negative reviews they get.

I was grossly overcharged for work carried out by this company. I paid under protest and raised a formal complaint with the General Manager. I later received only a partial refund. In his written response, the General Manager made statements that were not accurate, and no apology was offered. Overall, I found the handling of this matter unprofessional and disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business.

You’re all lovely people but you’re working in silo’s. As a Customer I want a ‘go to’ person, a single point of contact not passed from this ‘department’ to another ‘specialist department then back to someone else in reception. The overall impression created then is one of inefficiency and creates frustration.
Also order the correct replacement part. I took the van in for a new air conditioner and you had ordered the wrong one from Truman So had to arrange yet another visit.
I still have to wait for a light to be replaced because ‘Italy’ has to authorize it.
Overall I would definitely use Marquis Leisure again but there is definitely room for improvement.

We purchased our new caravan from the Exeter branch and can only express how great it was dealing with Shaun. We were kept up to date via emails and phone calls with every step of the progress, until the delivery. The handover by Leah was excellent and we even videoed parts of the handover for our use in case we got stuck! All the staff in the branch were polite, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend Marquis. A top company to purchase from.

We basically came just to look around as wasn’t planning on buying anything as we do have campervan but we saw motorhome and had a good look around and we really like this one plus good space for our two dogs. We also love that the shower is separate from the toilet. We also like the style and the layout too. So we met with Ashley who was dealing with us and the boss on that day. But we felt we need to leave it and talk more about it deeply as don’t want to buy on impulse. We decided to go ahead and spoke to Ashley again and we go through the paperwork and he was making sure we understood everything and we were happy with everything and go ahead with part exchange. Recently we got our new motorhome we love it and it is in storage at the moment so when we soon free to travel we are looking forward to to spend the first night in our motorhome and to many more adventures as we excited.

I purchased a new auto sleeper Kingham from day one the right hand side air suspension lost pressure i informed marquis Ipswich they looked at it and said it would have to go back to the factory for a week Amy expenses which is what we did on return it still lost pressure it as now been back over five times so we have to pump it up every three weeks or so they say they can't get the bits so far it's been one year and four months when you phone they say they will call back but don't what action should I take yours

We visited Marquis Leisure after speaking with Dawn, a member of the sales team at Birtley, Co Durham. They had a motorhome on the forecourt which we went to view but it wasn’t quite what we wanted. We spoke to Dawn about our requirements (previously owned a motorhome) and she put as search in to see what was available within the Marquis group. Dawn found what we felt was a perfect match for us and we agreed to have it brought up from a branch further down the country. We were kept well informed along the way and when it came into Birtley branch we went to view it. It was our perfect match, a couple of little details needed sorting with it along with a valet.
We needed to confirm a query which was required for us to take out insurance and as Dawn happened to be on holiday we spoke with David on the sales team who was more than happy to help.
I truly cannot thank all of the staff at Marquis enough for making buying our motorhome such an enjoyable experience. Phil guided us through an extensive handover as to how everything worked. Dawn even phoned to see how our first couple of trips away went. We did have an issue with the Alde heating panel but it went in and was sorted while we waited, no charge to us as under warranty.
We actually purchased our motorhome at the start of November but I wanted to give it a couple of months before writing this review just to see how things went.
In my honest opinion if you are searching for a motorhome or campervan make Marquis at Birtley your first place to look A* right across the board. We had searched motorhome dealerships closer to home but they were dire in comparison to stock quality and value for money that Marquis offered.

Jason (Service Manager) was excellent. Friendly and understanding of what was required within a tight timeframe. Work included a shower tray repair, new awning rail and bike carrier. Hats off to the team for the shower tray repair - I just didn't expect such a high standard of craftsmanship. Really pleased. The replacement awning and bike carrier had its own challenges - when is a seemingly straightforward job really straightforward?
Again I was more than happy with everything that was done.
