Rajni has supported all three of my children through the 4+ and all got offers at Highgate. She is very knowledgeable about the process. She is kind and creates a warm and fun learning environment so the children are always happy to learn with her!

Rajni has been fantastic for helping our 3 children prepare for entrance tests to the toughest London prep and pre-pre schools. Her collaborative approach works in harmony with the child’s natural abilities and she focuses on actual technique rather than just rote learning. Would highly recommend.

We’ve used Mums in the Wood for years, initially with a 4+ mock assessment, and more recently with 7+ workshops, tutoring, and mock assessments and interviews. We were very late to preparing our child for the 7+ but Rajni and her team managed to fit us in and fully prepare them within just four months. Thanks to her expertise and guidance, my children have had 100% success at both 4+ and 7+ with direct offers. I highly recommend Mums in the Wood!

We attended Rajni’s workshops for our 4+ assessments and her sessions and feedback were instrumental in our preparation for the assessment. We were able to prepare our child based on those and secure a place at our preferred school. The sessions covered all the areas of assessment with individual feedback provided at the end of each sessions. She is candid and honest in her feedback which is what you need to get the kids ready for the assessments. Thank you to Rajni and team for all the efforts.

Rajni has been amazing for our children. Our eldest is still working with her for the 11+ (although has got through the first round of City of London Old Grammar 10+). Our youngest has just been accepted into Highgate, City Junior School and South Hampstead in the 7+ processes. We couldn’t be happier! She is a July baby and needed to work hard. From the moment she met Rajni, she’s been relaxed and comfortable with her. I feel Rajni mixes pushing the children with the right amount of empathy so she gets results while building strong relationships with them. We can’t recommend Rajni highly enough.

Rajni is extremely knowledgeable about the 7+ process and her reputation in this field is bullet-proof. What sets Rajni apart and makes her unlike any other tutor I have heard of in North London is that she looks at the child holistically and is able to recommend additional actions which may be necessary for the best 7+ prep, plus can recommend amazing additional experts to complement her teaching.

I have known Rajni for many years, and she has supported both of my children through their 4+ and 7+ assessments. She is not only a fantastic teacher herself, but also works closely with a brilliant team of tutors and a confidence coach to offer private and group lessons, workshops and mock assessments. My children have taken part in all of these, and I have always been incredibly impressed by the personalised, detailed feedback we have received.

Rajni is an amazing tutor, our daughter has progressed massively since starting the 4+ prep, she made a plan tailored to her and explained to us how to do things efficiently with play based activities. We did the mums in the wood workshops, they were extensive, they literally did everything (phonics, numeracy, fine motor skills..) we even had a confidence building one that helped our little one get used to the assessment's environment. Being first time parents and not used to the british system made it overwhelming to choose the school so we got a 60 min consultation that was informative, Rajni shared so many in-depth insights about the schooling system and personalised recommendations that fit oir daughter's personality and our needs . What we found exceptional is that the service doesn't end after the consultation & tutoring; we were assisted throughout the process which made us more confident and less stressed about this whole journey, she is very compassionate yet very capable and it makes a world of difference

This was a very well presented and thought out presentation, full of useful hints and tips, whilst being delivered suscinnctly with multiple opportunities for questions in my opinion.

Rajni is genius. Our daughter has been assessed by her for pre-4+ assessments and the comprehensive report Rajni provided helped us a lot with her preparation and skill improvement. I highly recommend Rajni for any advice/mock test/prep related to London 4+ assessments, she simply knows best. Only regret is we did not go to her when our daughter was younger.

Rajni has been my go to person for the past years with my children. Her breadth of knowledge has truly helped me know where to focus on with my children when preparing them for the 4+ assessment. She will give you a detailed list of the points you need to work on with your children after assessing them individually. She is exceptional. I highly recommend her. All my children thanks to God first but thanks to her well detailed reports that I used to work with my children have gotten to Top North London schools that are extremely hard to get into.

Very thorough assessment which taught me as the parent how to work with my child at home to achieve the best results. The assessment was appropriate for my Childs age and the school he was applying for. This is a great service which tailors advice and guidance according to your child. We could even go back for advice with regards to waiting lists once results were out. We got our little one into our school of choice because of mums in the wood

I could not be more pleased with the consultation I had with Rajni. Navigating the local school system seemed daunting to me, and I’m so relieved to have met with Rajni. She cautioned me at the beginning that she was about to give me a lot of information—and she did!—but upon leaving I felt like a weight had been lifted. She walked through the differences between state and independent schools (generally, as well as in North London), entry points and offered an overview of the assessment process. She is knowledgeable, thorough and kind. She’s helped me chart an initial path for my son, and I am incredibly grateful. It’s still early days for us in this process, and I definitely plan to meet with Rajni again in the years ahead. Highly, highly recommend.

Rajni is a very special educator and has an incredible way with children to bring out their best potential. Not only does she have unique knowledge about schools, particularly in North London, she goes above and beyond to create a special learning environment highly tailored to each child. She was incredibly helpful in our journey to find the right schools for our daughter at 4+ and then to help prepare her for the assessments. I don't often write reviews but felt it necessary since I honestly cannot recommend Rajni highly enough. Having secured 4 out of 5 offers (including our first choice) from top N London schools, we have walked away from this process knowing that we have invested in our daughters future and this was money well spent.

We cannot thank Rajni enough for her advice and guidance throughout the 4+ process. Not only she gave us tailored advice on suitable schools based on my daughter's personality and ability, she took total emotional ownership in providing the most detailed and through assessment report on my girl. This give us a solid base to help her and guide her in an enjoyable manner. The result is my girl got offers in two of her favorite schools as well as ours !

I cannot thank Rajni from Mums In The Wood enough. My son went to for his 4+ assessments and we were so impressed with the detailed report she provided us. Even if you are not looking for a private school for your child, the report is so comprehensive it leaves no stone unturned. I cannot recommend her enough. My son applied to 3 schools and received 2 offers and a place on the reserve list for our third school!

Our experience with Rajni and Elizabeth couldn't have been any better. They were very helpful and accommodating to see my little boy before his 4+ assessment even when it was very last minute. Rajni and Elizabeth have a very special way to bond with the kids and their level of detail on the report was impressive. They were very kind, soft and friendly and my son liked them immediately. He still asks to go back to see them. Highly highly recommended!
