We used New Forest Event Lighting for our wedding on 6th September 2025 at Wedding in the Woods and were over the moon with our experience. Rowan was a delight to work with and made our venue SO magical. Working with them was so easy since they are the recommended supplier for our wedding venue, meaning Rowan knew the venue, had quotes specific to our venue, and dealt with the venue coordinator directly. We were lucky to have met Rowan in person the night before as we were decorating, and it was a pleasure! Overall, we would highly recommend New Forest Event Lighting.

Rowan took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and brought our vision to life beautifully. We had pastel lanterns and festoon lighting, and the setup completely transformed our venue into something magical. The soft pastel tones added a romantic, whimsical feel, and the festoon lighting created the perfect warm, inviting atmosphere as the sun went down.

Rowan was incredibly professional, reliable, and easy to work with. He handled everything from planning to installation seamlessly and made the whole process completely stress-free for us. It was clear he takes great pride in his work – every detail was thoughtfully done and the end result exceeded all our expectations.

We had so many compliments from guests on how stunning the lighting looked – it truly made the evening feel so special. If you're looking for someone who is creative, dependable, and genuinely cares about making your event unforgettable, we can’t recommend Rowan and New Forest Lighting highly enough.

Rowan was really helpful in the explanations and run up of the preparation for our wedding last Saturday. The lights were there and set up in time and they looked great. Rowan's recommendations were well worth listening to and he was super helpful on the day of the wedding too!

We should say we were not allowed to use any other lighting service apart from New Forest Event Lighting due to an agreement with the venue - however we were happy with the end result.

We used the uplights from Rowan's extensive repertoire of lighting options for our wedding. He is always quick to respond and, on the day, he went above and beyond to help us and demonstrate our colour options. The uplights definitely gave our wedding that extra bit of sparkle!

They were able to squeeze us in despite me getting into contact with them quite close to our wedding day for lights and speaker system hire. Rowan's explanations for set ups available were clear and concise, and on the set-up day his team member stayed back until we arrived and explained how to work the systems very clearly. Everything worked perfectly and they were very professional and kind. We were very happy with their service - would 100% recommend!

My husband and I spent a long time deciding on the "non-essential extras" for our wedding. We are so pleased that we chose a fairy light ceiling from Rowan at New Forest Event Lighting. The lights twinkling away made a huge difference to the ambience of the room, and this is reflected in the professional photos, too. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting the employees in person, but my family members who did said they were friendly, polite, and a joy to meet. We 100% recommend this business for your lighting needs!

Rowan visited beforen the June wedding to survey the site and agree a budget with which we were happy. We got a lot of lighting for the money and the effect was amazing. Everyone said that the nightime marquee and garden effects were quite magical.
That morning after a rainstorm we'd had an issue with the house power supply, which affected the lights. Rowan was able to come and resolve at very short notice. Brilliant service.

Amazing service. Our wedding looked stunning with all of the beautiful fairy lights and then some outside lights which worked wonderfully. So many guest compliments. Would highly recommend.

We recently used New Forest Event Lighting for our wedding at Weddings In The Wood. Rowan was so friendly and great at communication. The lights looked amazing at the venue and really bought the marquee to life - even in the rain!

AMAZING LIGHTING! I cannot thank Rowan and New Forest lighting enough for helping to make our daughters wedding at Pylewell Park such an unforgettable event. The lighting was a major element on the night and our guests loved everything. Nothing was too much trouble and Rowan was incredibly helpful in guiding us on options and approaches for lighting which was absolutely superb on the day. We use New Forest Event Lighting for all our events at Beaulieu. Rowan has done some amazing lighting in our Domus and for all our Christmas Parties at the National Motor Museum. They always transform the room and it looks incredible 10/10.
