Competition win not received

Won a competition in December for a £20 voucher and 2 products. Was then told products not in stock so they'd send them when they were. Spent voucher (paid postage and excess myself) on stocking fillers for family but when order arrived Christmas Eve, 2 of the items were sadly missing and an automated email said I'd been refunded (assume not in stock when they came to pick order). Chased refund and was told it had all gone back on the gift card code. Emailed at the beginning of Jan as still not had my winning items and also asked if they could just send a product to the £8.00 balance value on my card as in order to use it I'd have to pay shipping again which was a little unfair (if they'd just rang me before sending original order to say things were out of stock I could have just picked something else at the time). Customer services replied to say they had the prize and what extra would I like. - This was 9th Jan - replied with a product that was £8.00 and thanked her. Now in Feb and still no missing prizes or add on £8.00 item. I don't like leaving negative reviews and obviously I'm incredibly grateful to have won a competition, but what are NOD beauty doing? How is it taking a month to send the items you said are now in stock and the additional item. I have emailed to chase it up btw a couple of times and they've stopped responding so hoping I'll get a reply via here. The customer service and organisation with this company seems to be lacking.

Missing order both times waiting 2 months still

UPDATE: I received a full refund and voucher for my other experience, I’m happy with my box and everything is perfect! Worth over £65 for £20.

Ordered twice from this company. First time it had been over a month with no update eventually received my item and was happy and assumed it was a one off. This time it has been 2 months with no parcel or order. I’ve been patient I’ve messaged directly multiple times and I always seem to get fobbed off with “we’ll know on Monday” they asked for my number but still no update. It was meant to be a Christmas present it’s mid January now.

£50 down the drain will be claiming back through my credit card payments!

Thank you for your update. We’d like to clarify the situation to ensure the information shown here is accurate for readers.

The refund was processed by us and has now been 4 working days since it left our system. Once a refund is completed on our side, it is handled by the payment provider and then the bank. While account credits are instant, refunds typically take 1–3 working days to clear from the merchant, followed by up to 5–7 working days to appear in a bank account, depending on individual bank processing times. A refund wasn’t requested two weeks ago but 6 working days ago which we instantly processed.

At this stage, the funds should appear shortly. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over bank processing timelines once a refund has left us.

If required, we can provide a refund reference/trace number so your bank can assist further as we do have these on file.

The order delay was due to a Royal Mail issue, and we acted on the refund request promptly. We remain available by email should any further assistance be needed we also have a business WhatsApp you can message and call us at any time.

Where is my order!?

In response to the reply. I have been in email communications with Nodbeauty and it transpires that they were indeed sending notifications through Shopify. After they reset my account I have since had those messages through. When the package did arrive it was packaged beautifully and you could see the issue they had and how they resolved it!

I received a notification to say my order was dispatched on the 21st November however it’s still waiting to enter Royal Mail delivery network. After several attempts at trying to contact I finally had a response to say there was an issue with their boxes and them popping open. I am now struggling to get an update on when I will actually receive the item!!
I’d suggest avoiding!!

I had back an forth communication for this order that was apparently returned to them damaged, there was never any tracking, I said I was happy for a replacement initially still nothing I was told it had been refunded in june/July still nothing even gave my bank details for a BT and still never received completely gutted I had been more then understanding with all the on going issues but im 80 odd pound out of pocket for nothing to show its disappointing as the customer service who I had spoke to was lovely but my money was taken n nothing to show these where mothers day gifts for my children to gift me witch u made them aware

Sometimes refunds can appear on statements under the merchant processor rather than “NODBEAUTY,” which can understandably cause confusion. This is why we advised checking back over the bank statements for the relevant dates.

Excellent in every way!

This is the first time I have used nodbeauty and will highly recommend them to friends.
My order arrived quickly and was very well-packaged.
I wanted to add a small item to my order so that I didn't incur another postage charge, and customer services replied promptly to say they would add it free of charge.
I am very impressed and will definitely use nodbeauty in the future

Disappointed

I placed an order on the 2nd November. I had email next day to say that it was on the way with royal mail tracking available. Royal mail said they haven't recieved yet. Initial communication from customer services quick to say they were looking into it however no resolution/when will be dispatched given despite me emailing another 2 times.
Very disappointed after being recommended by a friend.

Nod Beauty you have excelled yourselves!!!!!! In all honesty, I had a bad experience with Nodbox (as they were originally called) many years ago now and so I didn’t have anything to do with the brand after that. However, an ad came up online and I thought, I’m going to give them another try as they always had excellent products and the company owner was lovely. I’m so glad I did! I ordered a few days ago and it arrived today (Sunday) via Royal Mail. The box was well packaged and beautifully presented. I ordered the £50 box which has a worth of at least £100. After calculating the individual prices, my box is worth over £200! That is wild. I had a lovely selection of haircare, skincare and makeup. Products I received were - Olaplex No 8 Bond Moisture Mask, MAC mini Lipstick & Liner Duo, Love Hearts Blemish Patches, Jiinju Silver Eye Mask, Paradoxx Detox Hair Mask, Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate, BH Cosmetics Mrs Bella Blush Trio, Grow Gorgeous B3 Scalp Care, Silver Cloud Heatless Curler Set and the Clarins Hydra Essentials Full Size Moisturiser Gift Set. I’m so honestly blown away by this. I will be doing an unboxing over on my TikTok (Kathrynsloves) as soon as I’m feeling a bit better as I’m 5 weeks post surgery. I am itching to order more boxes - I’d love to order one of each but I’m scared I’d get the same products so will perhaps wait another month or two before ordering. Thank you so much NodBeauty for a wonderful experience and I’m so glad your company is going from strength to strength.
