This is exactly what our family needed! We'd been using self-custody for years and although I'm pretty technical, I didn't have a plan for inheritance that my wife felt comfortable with. Now I can go on trips and know that no matter what happens, my wife and kids will easily be able to access our BTC.

Not only was I able to secure my Bitcoin through their Multi Institutional Custody wallet, but I am now able to buy/sell directly though my account and I am likely going to migrate my IRA to them. Really easy to secure and buy bitcoin. No unnecessary steps or confusion. The onboarding process was clear from start to finish, with a clean interface and a strong focus on security. Onramp has introduced a new approach to custody that finally makes me feel secure about how my Bitcoin protected. For years, I bounced between custodial hot wallets like Coinbase, BlockFi, River, and Strike, but none of them gave me true peace of mind. Eventually, I turned to cold storage and set up a ColdCard to secure my Bitcoin. While hot wallets left me fully exposed to counterparty risk, the ColdCard eliminated that risk but put the entire responsibility on me, keeping up with firmware updates, securing my keys, and regularly testing the device to make sure everything still worked and I hadn't forgotten how to use it.

Onramp sits perfectly in the middle of these two options. I don't have to worry about a single company going bankrupt or being hacked, and I’m not constantly stressed about hardware failures, managing backups, or losing familiarity with my cold storage setup.

With Onramp I can buy Bitcoin at low cost and move it into a custody solution that lets me sleep well at night. And as the only Bitcoin expert in my family, I feel even more comfortable knowing that their team are very knowledgeable and will be there to guide my heirs when the time eventually comes to pass along my Bitcoin.
