The fact that not only do they make campervans but use them as well shines through in the enthusiasm and in the design details that make such a difference, and when combined with quality work and support after buying, difficult to ignore. When looking to move on from a Hyundai people carrier conversion the MWB pop top Trouvaille ticked so many boxes, more room but small enough and easy to drive to be my daily driver, flexible layout that works solo and with children/grandchildren/dogs/etc, 2 ISOfix, proper toilet, no more hunchback when getting changed able to stand up (am 5 10), all the little touches and happy to accommodate a few individual requests. There are vans which are arguably more "trendy" with lots of shiny materials and nice showroom touches but am sure mine will still be quietly doing everything for years to come and if there is anything, help is at hand.

I’ve wanted a campervan for years. Friends have them and it’s nice to join in! Unfortunately I’m a bit of a control freak, so did a lot of research! I got to the point where I thought I’d never get a campervan as there were too many conflicting things between having a lot of space versus going small and having not so much room! Also trusting a firm to deliver what they say is essential for me.
Orange campers kept cropping up in my internet searches, so I thought I’d have a proper look. I enquired about a preloved microcamper, but it was sold. Jess encouraged me to go to their next open day. I went in April. I can honestly say there was not a single camper there that wasn't fantastic and beautifully finished. The first van I saw (pre-loved) stole my heart, but it was a bit too wide to fit on my driveway. Other than that it was perfect in every way. I then saw a microcamper that I also loved. Not as roomy, but very practical. Big enough and also narrow enough to drive around where I live. I knew I wanted them to make my van. I went away to think it over and worry some more about spending my savings!
I chatted with Sonya on the phone. I had a few specifics I wanted on the base vehicle, so it took a little longer to find one to suit. I was a pain, worrying about this and that the whole way through the process, because that’s what I do! There was plenty of reassurance along the way from Richard, Sonya and Jess-don’t worry it’s going to be fantastic! Etc etc. I asked for a few things they don’t do on the microcamper, and they did almost all of them. I asked for a swivel table for the swivel seat, but they said it wouldn’t work because of the space. The first time I really felt everything was going to be ok was when I got pictures of the van exterior with its decals on it. Relief!
When I went to collect it, I was still anxious the whole way. As I turned the corner I saw it I thought ‘that’s perfect!’ Richard was just walking round checking it before I arrived. I thought It was so beautiful, and I couldn’t have been happier. It was like a brand new campervan. I hadn’t even seen the inside!
You get a good warranty of three years on the conversion. During some extreme rainfall, I had a leak from one of the campervan side windows, but this got resolved.
There’s a great user group where you can share adventures and get ideas and advice. They also have an annual camp out which I’m thinking of going on, to meet some of the people I’ve ‘met’ on the user group.
I’ve had a good number of day trips and some camp outs and all has gone well. It gets admired wherever we go!
I would say that people should look at family firms and not just go to the big guns. You get to be a part of them and their brand. I still have not found one negative review about Orange campers, and that is for a good reason. They love what they do and they love the camping lifestyle, which means they make great vans!

What you seen is what you get - Friendly, honest, expert perfection, great service. I love my little Trouvaille camper....

Orange campers retro fitted a curtain separating the front of our van from the habitation part. And the work was excellent, communication was excellent. Altogether a really good experience. And we don't even have a orange campers campervan. Although I really wish we did because they treat all their customers like family.

Long overdue rental review.
Sorry Richard and Sonya but forgot we hadn’t posted this.
Arranged a 3 for 2 day rental in Dec for January 2025. Despite being away themselves the Orange team made sure the pick up was possible to suit our busy schedule.
Yorkshire any time of year is an amazing place but snow and -7c hard frosts went unnoticed with the cosy blinds and heating giving us good nights sleep each time.
We cooked breakfast for our friends who came dressed ala ‘eskimoesque’ were impressed with the warmth, on board toilet and the rear cooking facilities onboard.
We await the launch of the onboard shower version and will be working towards an order in 2026.
Thank you Orange Campers for making not only our Jan 25 mini break FAB but also our future choices easy!

Orange Campers provide a brilliant after sales service. I visited there work shop this week to get some extras and they were so helpful as I continue to tweak the MWB van I bought earlier this year. Thank you to the Orange Campers team!

We have had our van just short of a year. 8000 on the clock already. The build quality is excellent. No rattles. This is our fourth van and is by far the best. We have had a couple of small issues but Richard and the gang sorted them out with no fuss. Love our van.

I have owned my MWB Trouvaille for 10 months and it has exceeded my expectations so far. The quality build and clever design means that it just works with everything in its right place and it feels so roomy for a relatively small van.
It comfortably sleeps 4 and the flexible bed configuration has meant that I have been able to travel the country with friends as well as my wife (no sharing double bed with another hairy man!).
Richard and Sonya have been a pleasure to deal with and are only a phone call away if any advice is needed.
I would definitely recommend Orange Campers.

We are extremely pleased with the conversion. The downstairs beds, with the duvalays, are especially comfortable. The van is so roomy yet doesn't feel a lot different to drive than our old T6. The extra width of the upper walls and the height with the roof down make all the difference. The conversion makes the best use of this space and provides a spacious living area with a large kitchen and a huge amount of storage throughout the van, even without a high top. We had an issue with the fridge and Richard dealt with it immediately so it wasn't a problem on our 3 week trip to France.

Just recently picked up our Travaille Actif and it’s a brilliant campervan. It was a pop top but Orange camper’s converted it to a high top and what a difference. If you want some great advice on Campervans than Orange Camper’s are the place to go.

Having purchased my micro campervan earlier this year, I have just returned from a four week trip away in it through Northumberland, Scotland and up into the Orkney islands. It has proved itself to not only be a great vehicle for everyday use, but also wonderful for touring. It provided the perfect off grid vehicle with solar panels, diesel heater and power storage as well as giving me comfortable nights sleep throughout. The service from Orange was excellent and any additional requests and questions that
I had were responded to with friendly and helpful advice immediately, not only before purchasing but also since collecting my van. I would certainly recommend Orange Campers.

Richard and his extended family of camper-van experts are such a lovely and enthusiastic bunch. They really know their stuff and were super helpful in finding a suitable van to convert into a lovely "micro" camper for me last year. I say "micro" but it's got oodles of space and plenty of storage for me to travel around the UK in (with or without a friend or family member sharing). After-sales service has also been brilliant with remote help & advice, retro-fitting of a couple of items AND speedy attention to a recent electrical equipment niggle.

These campers are fantastic. As I said to my son when we sat in one this family has really lived this. Everything I mean everything is because they have lived it. They know what works. Even the plugs usb ports right next to open box shelves to put your phone or kindle and four boxes for four people. It's these little things that bake a difference.
The colour schemes calming. The fabrics easy clean but beautiful feel. The seat beds so easy. The toilet large enough for me whose urmm well endowed 😂 but it jeans being able to move around and get changed in private but opens back up the space when not in use.
Perfect just need the finances now. Manifesting as I write 🥰🙏🥰

Bought a MWB high top Trouvaille option 2 in February
After using it for over 3 months I can say that I am very happy, it does everything that I hoped it would.
Build quality is great and Richard Sonya and Jess have been a pleasure to deal with

Having just purchased a used Trouvaille Classic SWB through Orange Campers, I can’t rate the service and product highly enough, just had first weekend away and it is definitely going to be followed by many more.

We have had our Orange Trouvaille Classique SWB (build number 016) pop-top campervan for 3 years.
We first met Richard at the Lincoln show in 2021. Orange was the first company we came across as we went in. Richard’s enthusiasm and knowledge of all things campervans really shone through. After touring all the other exhibitors, we ended up back talking to Richard. We hired a Trouvaille for a few nights in October to check that my dodgy back would be okay. It was and I sleep very well with the mattress topper recommended by Sonia. The build went very smoothly considering all that was going on and we took delivery in May 2022.
We have been very happy with quality of the build and the after sales service from Orange. Fiat have replaced a clutch sensor a couple of time under their 3-year warranty. The first time, a warning light flashed on the way to the Outer Hebrides. Helpful advice from Richard convinced us to carry on and complete a successful trip.
Over the 3 years we have spent about 140 nights away. This has included longer trips of 2-3 weeks to the Outer Hebrides, Spain, France, Devon and Cornwall. We have also done many shorter trips in between. 016 is used all year round and is nice and warm with the heater and a hot water bottle in December and January. We like that there is plenty storage room and have had no problem fitting in the gin, wine and champagne to bring home.
We've created great memories, visited new places, and met interesting people thanks to our campervan. We love it, and so do our two granddaughters who love to play up top.
Thank you Orange, we are looking forward to the 2025 campout.

If you're looking for a quality, family friendly and reliable campervan then I can't recommend Orange Campers enough. We met Richard at a show and were impressed by and all the features their conversion of the Fiat Ducato offered, especially when compared with the golf.
We've enjoyed many great family adventures in our camper and Richard has been a great help on two occasions after purchase when we wanted help on some upgrades/fixes.
We love our Orange camper and if you decide to invest i'm sure you will too.

We have had our Trouvaille Classique Campervan from Orange Campers for over a year. We first saw the vans at the Lincolnshire showground exhibition and were attracted by the interior layout, build quality and attention to detail of finish. We chose the fixed high roof due to my height, which has the added bonus of additional storage. We have been very happy with the service from the team at Orange and Richard is always at the end of the phone if you need help or advice regarding the van.

We have had our Trouvaille Actif for a year now and we quite frankly love it! The only thing missing is a fixed toilet so we recently had a test drive in a Carado 5.4 m van. So did we purchase the Carado van….NO! And why not? Well, the build quality of our Trouvaille Actif is far superior to the supposedly upmarket Carado, with no rattles, superior suspension, excellent powerful engine and overall comfort. The space to just relax in after a walk in the hills is far more generous in the Actif.
The service provided by Richard and his team at Orange Campers has been first class. We did have a few things that needed putting right at the start and these were sorted out very quickly indeed. A 3 year guarantee is provided and Richard is proud that any issues are dealt with speed.
The question must be that if we want a fixed toilet in the van what do we do? The obvious answer for us is to look at the new 5.4m van offered by Orange campers as we can sure that the build quality will be of the highest standard.

After much research I found Orange Campers. Having had my previous transit van stolen I was looking for something smaller but with all the facilities that it had. Orange micro camper fitted the bill perfectly. From the initial enquiry to pick up day the service, attention to detail, friendly staff and most of all superior quality and finish of the camper were second to none. Richard is a camper so the van has many little details , like power points, to make life so much easier. The cupboard space is thoughtful and ample , the finish is superb. Nice one Orange!!
