I recently discovered that this company…
I recently discovered that this company went under in September 2025. Luckily, I wrapped up my course in June and have an email verifying my completion. It's quite frustrating because I've been reaching out since August through phone calls, chat, emails, and letters just to get my certificate. There was no communication about their situation. Surprisingly, their website is still active and promoting courses. I strongly advise against enrolling!
I had a really rough experience at…
I had a really rough experience at Oxbridge. I took A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Sociology. Personally, I do not recommend it if you are looking to study Chemistry or Biology.
During my two years at Oxbridge, I felt stuck and unsupported, especially considering the high fees. Overall, it was disappointing, and I expected much more guidance and help given the cost.
Just nearly signed up for a course but…
Just nearly signed up for a course but then luckily read their reviews. How awful that they have left all their students and staff in the lurch, yet continue to sell courses on their website to unsuspecting new students. They are now operating as a scam website. Everyone should report them to the NCSC government website as a scam site to get them taken down. Also worth trying bank chargebacks and credit card Section 75 claims to claw back your money.
Such a bad company
Such a bad company, I had finish my course and waiting for my Certificate, and then I got to know that oxbridge is closed.
I don’t know what to do.
The gift that keeps on giving.
The gift that keeps on giving.
Not only have they ripped off thousands of students and left them high and dry, they never paid their freelance tutors for months. Then in September 4th they made all contracted staff redundant without notice or payment. 3 months on and those staff are still waiting for their P45 which they’ve refused to send out. So those of us who have been fortunate enough to get a new job, we’re still out of pocket by now paying too much tax. Thank you so much to the Oxbridge directors for never letting us be rid of you in our lives. Merry Christmas!
Oxbridge Gone Bust
They went bust took my money and did not mark my work in the last 2 months
No response to submitted assignments to…
No response to submitted assignments to my 15 year old daughter so I email and find out they are in administration. No contact no warning. She now cannot take her GCSE as it has coursework. I can't get a charge back as she's been on the course for over 120 days. Totally screwed
If I could give them 0 stars
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Entirely money oriented and don't care about the wellbeing of students or their teachers. Please don't buy a course from them. They're now also trading under the name of Barston College so please don't buy from them either. It's really awful that they're still trying to sell students courses when they have no money to support them through it.
Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company. I was signed up by R.Neal, who offered what seemed like a great deal, but looking back, it feels like he already knew what was going to happen. They were more than happy to take my money and make promises, but once things went wrong, there was zero accountability. It’s hard not to feel completely misled. From my experience, this company cares far more about profit than people, and I’m not the only one who feels this way. Hopefully someone reads this and thinks twice before signing up or working with them or past employees . What they’re doing to families is unacceptable, and I truly hope they’re held responsible one day.
Oxbridge Ltd In Administration
Oxbridge Ltd trading as Oxbridge Home Learning – In Administration (“the Company”)
I would advise you that I was appointed Administrator of the above company jointly with Guy Hollander by the Directors, on 1 October 2025. We are both authorised to act as an Insolvency Practitioner by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
I advise that, regrettably, the Company has ceased to trade and as a result your current course being conducted through the Company will not be completed.
What does this mean
All courses: Unfortunately, tutor support and marking have now come to an end.
Certificates/qualifications: Oxbridge will no longer be accredited, so it cannot award certificates.
System access: You will continue to have access to your online learning system and course materials until July 2026, but this will be for self-study only. This may allow you to complete your studies independently or transfer your work to another provider.
This company is in administration
This company is in administration. They still seem to be inviting you to join courses and pay, but they have no way to support learners on courses, so the website should not be live. Please try to find another provider. If you have completed study with them you might be able to enter A levels or GCSEs as a private candidate locally.

Scam company! Took my 18 year old sons £600 and now have no course and no refund 😡 trying to use names like barston college. Trying to get his money back through the bank. Please don't fall for this scam the company are in administration and taking people's money illegally!
Modules completed but unmarked
Has anyone been able to transfer to a different learning platform who have been willing to mark completed modules?
I have have completed the Advance Counselling Diploma but Oxbridge went into administration whilst my last three modules had been been submitted and they haven't been marked. Any ideas or expereince of who may be willing to take this on...without a massive cost implication? Thanks
This company is already in Administration
Do not purchase for any service !!
This company has been in administration since October, 2025 !
All old students have received this message but they still pretending provide services for new students.
All tutor support and grading services are suspended without any help and refund.
I have lost £2384 with no compensation.
Incompetent examiners
The course in itself was okay, despite the spelling mistakes. My tutor did not want to help me, I wanted to schedule weekly calls with her so I could stay on track and she could help me out with any questions, which I didn’t think was much to ask for but after the first call I realised how much she didn’t want to speak to me and after asking for help on multiple occasions I was just sent the question again which was obviously just copied and pasted (with all of the spelling mistakes). After I passed some units I sent it back in with more work on them as I strived for a higher mark and then after a ‘certified professional examiner’ marked my work as a pass the next one would mark it as a fail which is obviously incompetent and shows me they had no guidelines to go on like a usual course marking scheme, therefore one person could mark your work as a distinction and another could think it was a fail and it be the same piece of work or even more detailed. I tried to change my tutor after she wasn’t interested in actually tutoring me and I was told she was the ONLY tutor. I’m sorry but for paying over £1000 it was very disheartening to find out that the examiners weren’t marking to the same standard and my tutor wasn’t interested in her students or job.
I am managing director for the College…
I am managing director for the College of Media and Publishing. I am sorry to see one of our competitors go into administration. If you have been studying a course with Oxbridge open learning - similar to any of the courses we run, then we'd like to help you with a HEAVILY discounted course.

This course is a scam!
This course is such a scam, i’ve sent an email about a getting a refund 3 times and still haven’t heard back a month later. This course might as well have been made by chatgpt :/
Oxbridge College Scam
Oxbridge College Scam
Oxbridge college is on administration and they are not giving any response to students after taking their money and not providing any certificate. They put people in stressful situation and when I am making phone calls to them they are not responding. They are not providing refunds as well. They are still selling their courses.
Appalled
Quite upset, I intended to study A-Level chemistry for a year, and bought this course this august. Then the company went into administration. Out of my three A-Levels, I needed help with chemistry the most. I now had to spend more money on finding a way to get predicted grades for UCAS. Very sad and frustrating.
