We send a package (with honeymoon things and Christmas presents) from Finland to Denmark - the danish postoffice ended up loosing our package, and a few weeks later it appeared back in Finland! Customer service at Posti was so helpful with finding it at sending it back, again. So thankful for getting our stuff back!

Service has really gone downhill. My last two shipments were delayed by nearly a week without any update in the tracking system. When the items finally arrived, the boxes looked like they had been handled very roughly. It’s getting harder to trust them with important deliveries for my business
Angry Delivery Guy At 2 am at Night
It should be illegal to deliver post at night to people's appartments. The delivery guy was angry and was banging on the letter box. This is not normal. Buildings should have letter boxes by the main door for each appartment

Literally the worst shipping experience i’ve ever had, i even emailed the company which i would never normally do and never heard back from them. After seeing thousands of other people online experiencing the same exact thing, i wonder how this company is even still in business.
Unreliable shipping, low transparency, lack of irresponsibility
This is the third time that similar things with Posti has happened to me: On 7 Jan, the tracking showed it received the parcel in another country (Lithuania). Then the record stopped evolving for days. After I contacted Posti, it called me on 13 Jan saying that they had not received any parcel at all. (Well, if you haven't received it, why writing it in the tracking records?) I immediately contacted Amazon, who was to investigate the issue. (Normally Amazon would give me a refund to save the trouble, but I guess even Amazon was mad at Posti this time.) And on 14 Jan, early the next day, the parcel was out for delivery. Therefore it is quite clear that the local branch in my country (Latvia) had had the parcel all the time, but had messed up the records and did not want to resolve the issue. Most likely it did not even want to try, because otherwise why would problems be resolved instantly under the pressure of Amazon? And most likely Posti gave me a call instead of an email so as to avoid leaving any proof against them. When I finally received the parcel, there was a big hole on it, and my box of tea was broken.
Conclusion: It seems that Posti does not take individual customers seriously, and it would only solve issues under the pressure of a big customer like Amazon. Therefore I recommend individual customers to avoid using it, and Amazon customers to seek help through Amazon. Posti does not care about you.
Meanwhile, I sincerely thank Amazon for helping me get those corrupted lazy fellas back to work.
So now again i did not get my delivery…
So now again i did not get my delivery from Amazon, it was in the delivery truck all day on Januar 8 and then they brought it back to warehouse and send a sms where they told that i would get it another day soon. I do not understand why Amazon can ues Posti for deliveries, there are so many problems with them.
Worst service in Europe
Posti in Finland now tops my list as the worst postal service in Europe from the point of view of sending letters and parcels from the UK.
I have to allow three weeks for any letter for it to stand a realistic chance of arriving on time. For parcels (gifts) the recipient might get charged for something or might not. I've had a parcel returned with a sticker on it where the sticker is supposed to explain the reason for the return but none of the boxes had been ticked. Every time I send something it feels like I'm rolling the dice on when and whether it will arrive and if there will be some random charge.

Really rude staff. Spoke to 2 women at posti iso omena . One even told me to go away when I tried to explain the situation of my parcel. Terrible customer service they shouldn’t have a job there

In Latvia mixed experience, they lie about tried delivery.
At same date from Germany was dispatched two packages handled by:
1) DHL - handled by Smart Posti
2) Smart Posti itself
Tracking for DHL - Smart Posti wasn't working, but delivery was done in 4 working days, acceptable.
Tracking for Smart Posti own delivery worked, but item showed as arrived in destined city in 2nd day, at moment its loaded in delivery car and 3rd day going around without delivery.. They have marked that they tried delivery once, but road was blocked .. these are lies, firstly road wasn't blocked, secondly no-one called, thirdly they always send message that for today is planned delivery - there wasn't such message. Late delivery isn't so disappointing as false statements.
As I see this, they have afraid of penalties from other companies under which they do deliveries and those deliveries are prioritized.

This company goes above and beyond in its inability to carry out the most basic tasks. 4 times in a single week a heavy parcel has been dropped off at the wrong pick up point, despite me having contacted them twice to explain the error. The pick up point is miles away with no public transport access. Yesterday I contacted them for a second time. I was assured it would arrive at the correct pickup point this time. It didn't. It went to the same (wrong) one again, which essentially means they've picked up and dropped off the same parcel at the same place numerous times. Is this ineptitude? laziness? By this point it seems almost schizophrenic. Item is probably damaged by this point so I'm having to get a taxi at my own cost. Avoid this company at all costs. They're an absolute waste of time.
Fast, tracked, and reliable
Although I haven’t directly contacted this service, several Finnish bookstores have sent parcels to me via Posti. I’ve got everything very quickly and without any problems. It took 7 days to get the parcel from Orimattila, Finland, to Ukraine and 4 days from Helsinki to Warsaw, Poland. The costs were pretty in the same range as for other deliveries from abroad. The tracking service gives extremely detailed information, about any stop and any movement of the parcel. I am happy the online bookstores I order at use this postal service!
