Total absence of any after sales service
We had a Rega system installed 5 years ago. Unfortunately it was incorrectly installed and led to massive water overflow causing damage to eletrics, loft floorboards and ceilings. Straight after
our installation was completed the system was redesigned by Rega as they were aware of an issue with condensation buildup amd drainage in the system we have (though they did not make us aware of this at the time). Our dealings with Rega following the overflow issue were shocking. No responsibility was taken for the incorrect installation, or the fact the the system installed had known faults. The level of customer ‘service’ is atrocious. All the company were worried about was keeping the £360 we had to pay in advance for them to come and look at the system (nowonder they demand payment up front). We had agreed that this outrageous charge would cover investigation and rectifying the fault but this did not happen and we were pretty much told it was our problem not theirs. An email to their MD got a terse and unhelpful (actually rather aggressive) response from a ‘manager’. This whole experience has been awful - no accountability, no professionalism and no manners. There must be other people out there who have had similar experiences with Rega. Do not use this company, once they have they have installed the system their only interest is making money. No customer service whatsoever. We will be sharing information about our experience far and wide and would be interested in hearing from others with similar experience of Rega. We will be pursuing this further and would be happy to collaborate in seeking redress.

An easy to.install sysyem that works well
I have had my sysyem.for almost thirty five years now. I replaced her original unit five years ago. In the thirty years it was installed i replaced two fans . The new unit is smaller, quieter and easier to servic. The control sysyem.and humidity detection had been simplified too. The ventilation outlets and inlets had improved significantly over the originals , with the flow control much improved .
The newer control unit was much simpler, but still hard wired back then.
It would be nice if a remote WiFi or blue tooth control.unot were available to simplify options for the location of the control.unit
Definitely a do able DIY installation project.
Easy website to use and easy ordering to
Easy to order and find what I wanted. Just 1 small thing a photo of older filters would have been useful so I knew I was getting the correct replacement for my old ones
Great customer service
Very helpful staff identifying my needs for spare parts prompt despatch would highly recommend ventilation ststems

Domestic MVHR has worked without issue…
Domestic MVHR has worked without issue now for 4 years. Replacing filters could be easier as the side unit needs removing and it isn't hinged. I think it should be a 2 person job, but confined space means only 1 can fit. Overall very satisfied with Rega. Quality workmanship. Unlike my a/c supplier!

Packaging was inappropriate as the box was open and the product was susceptible to damage. The last order was placed in a bespoke cardboard box

Happy customer
We moved to a house with a rega vent MVHR which had been put in at building stage, 10 years before. The house has an air source heat pump, underfloor heating & solar PVs. At some point the MVHR had stopped working before we moved in and we didn't realise until tiny patches of black mildew began appearing all over the house on the freshly painted walls and ceilings. Living in wet Wales it became a huge worry and we managed the problem with hygrometers, ventilating with windows, losing our heat each time we cooked or showered & eventually buying a de - humidifier. We were reluctant to go with regavent as the cost of call out alone was high because we were a 3+ hour drive away and we were worried it would never actually work properly. When no other nearer MVHR companies would deal with the problem, we had no choice. Very pleased we did it though. We had a boost switch added, along with a pollen filter box, the system was recalibrated, & the original problem was fixed ( possibly caused by a useless ecocent hot water cylinder which used 4.5 hours of electricty to heat up, & was replaced with an i - boost cylinder which makes use of solar PVs). The cooking smells are whisked away, the house smells fresh & steam from showers is impressively minimal. The pollen filter box is used because houses in our village are mostly burning coal & wood. If we opened a window, the smell is immediately apparent but with the filter, the smell doesn't enter the house. The incoming air doesn't cause dust or smell; as an asthma sufferer this was a previous concern as was the worry of woodsmoke. Bedroom has remained at around 19 -20 degrees at night without the u/f heating kicking in. The best thing about all of this saga, which I'd put off having done for almost a year, was that the very wonderful Calum took his shoes off and looked after our house with care & consideration. That made such a difference ! The system has been running 24 hours a day for a month now & we're really happy with it.

Good system, shoddy finish…
System seems good but a bit disappointed in how they left things finished. Big plaster gaps around the vents in the room and inlet / outlet pipes.

Extremely long lasting and great service
We bought a Rega Heat Recovery system in 2001 which has run perfectly and with no problems in our house ever since. We have recently replaced all the filters in the ducting and asked for advice on changing filters in the base unit (which we should have done a long time ago - the fact that we haven’t and the system is still running like it’s brand new is testament to how good these systems are)
Rega have been super helpful at answering all my questions and helping me to understand what I need to do to maintain my system. I am so impressed not only with the service we have received but that the system we bought is lasting for such a long time. 21 years and still going strong!!!

My first experience with MVHR
My first experience with MVHR. I feel that REGA could have recognised that and "held my hand" in the process. I felt it was very arms length.

The team at RegaVent could not have been more accommodating throughout the whole process. From returning the original design which suited our needs to sending the materials out in a timely manner.
