I updated my desktop with a Sabrent…

I updated my desktop with a Sabrent NVMe SSD, and the improvement is obvious. The machine boots in seconds, and all of my programs open quickly. Large data, such as films and photographs, transmit effortlessly and without delay. The vehicle remained cool even after several hours of labor, and I noticed no slowing. Installation was simple, and everything functioned immediately. Overall I believe this SSD provides good performance, dependability and value for the price.

Very fast NVMe SSD

My Sabrent NVMe SSD completely changed my desktop experience. Windows now opens in seconds, and all my games start instantly without any delay. Large file transfers go smoothly and quickly. The drive maintains its coolness and silence even after hours of intense use. Everything went very well and installation was easy. This ssd is offers the speed and dependability I truly required in my opinion, among the finest available for the price.

Well I bought a Sabrent USB card reader…

Well I bought a Sabrent USB card reader to use with my camera and laptop. It reads SD and microSD cards without any errors. Transfers are fast and smooth every time. The device feels strong and solid. I use it for big files and small files, and it works perfectly every time I connect it. Great its quality and reliability for daily use.

Fast SSD and easy setup

Well i bought a Sabrent NVMe SSD for my desktop upgrade. The speed jump was clear from the first boot. Windows loaded faster and files moved quickly. Installation felt simple even for someone like me who does not build PCs often. The drive came well packed and clean. I also checked temperatures and they stayed stable. Overall, I feel I got good value for the price and solid performance.

Poor quality; lack of responsibility; rather rely on sellers who respect consumer rights.

I bought a product from Sabrent (sold via Amazon under the name Store4Memory). After about a year the product stopped working — plastic feel and clear quality defects. When I contacted Sabrent to complain, I was met with reluctance to take responsibility and no reasonable solutions. They did not refer to any valid warranty and refused to follow the Consumer Act's rules on the right to complain.

I contacted Amazon who helped me get compensation, for which I am grateful. However, this does not change the fact that Sabrent as a manufacturer does not take responsibility for its products or for the rights of the customer. I find the company to be unserious and would advise others not to buy their products.

I bought a HB-U3CR Hub for my Mac which did not have any USB A ports. Plus the hub had a card reader as well. I noticed right away plugged in that it got pretty warm just at idle nothing plugged in to it. Then while I was transferring files to a USB drive it got even warmer. Even though speed is limited to 5 gigabytes. Sabrent was not very helpful other then indicating it was normal even though I read several reviews of early failures. I should have returned it but I didn't and few months later I noticed transfer speeds getting slower until it finally gave me errors on even recognizing the drives. I am convinced the heat produced probably killed the hub early. Can't prove Sabrent knew this was an issue but won't buy anymore of their products.

M.2 drive failed under normal usage…

M.2 drive failed under normal usage after barely 8 months; customer support would play the delay game to discourage you from filing a warranty claim in the name of "verification" even-though they've on their hand all the data and pictures I sent in weeks ago (how much more proof do you need for a drive that has failed? i even offered to send in the failed drive at my own cost so they can perform all the "verification" on their own, but no -- no warranty coverage unless you send me more and more test data under a very very specific set of conditions). but they were super quick to close my ticket as soon they deemed that i wasn't able to provide them with these ridiculous "data" because the drive no longer boots! horrible quality, horrible customer service, non-existent warranty support, trash brand, trash company!

Warranty is useless

They refused to perform on their warranty obligation, giving me the run-around and not replacing a failed drive!

Avoid Sabrent and Their Incredibly Rigid, Customer-Hostile Policies

I recently purchased an item directly from Sabrent's website. The same item then went on sale on Sabrent's website shortly afterward, so I contacted their customer service to ask if they would honor the new sale price and refund me the difference (or, even give me a store credit, or a partial refund - really any gesture of goodwill whatsoever).

After waiting over half-an-hour to get connected to a customer service representative, I was curtly told that "it's their policy" to not do any sort of price-matching under any conditions, even from their own website.

I then asked to confirm that if I at least returned the item I had received (as I had not even opened the shipping box that the item arrived in, much less the item itself), they would at least then provide me with a refund for returning an unopened item.

I, once again, was curtly told by the customer service representative that they only accept returns to replace defective items, but "it's their policy" to never provide any sort of refund for any returned item, even if the item was still factory-sealed inside a completely unopened shipping box, like my item was.

I also, quite astonishingly, was told that if I tried to return an item that they "determined to not be defective", then "it's their policy" to just keep the item without refunding me the money I paid for it (nor would they ship a replacement item - or even the same item I had returned to them - back to me). Basically, they told me that if I tried to return the item, they would keep both the item and the money I had paid for the item - which sounds an awful lot like stealing to me.

So now, due to the most rigid, customer-hostile price-matching/return/refund/etc. policies I have ever seen from any company, I am left not even wanting this item from Sabrent anymore, as I don't wish to give my business to any company that operates in such a customer-hostile way.

But, since Sabrent told me that if I returned the item, they would not give me a refund and would simply keep both my money and the item I returned, it seems that my only recourse left is to attempt to dispute the charge with my bank - which unfortunately involves spending valuable time collecting the information/documentation that my bank requires in order to dispute a charge.

So, unless there are major changes to the multitude of the most unreasonable, rigid, customer-hostile policies (price-matching/return/refund/etc.) that Sabrent so strictly adheres to, that are the worst I've ever seen - from any company - I will never buy a Sabrent product again.

I strongly advise others to do the same, to show that we, as consumers, will not support companies that attempt to conduct business in the least customer-friendly way possible - and, at the very least, so that no one else ever ends up stuck in the situation that I find myself stuck in due to Sabrent's insistence on using these horribly customer-hostile policies.

If you are shopping for the kinds of products that Sabrent sells, there are countless other companies that sell the same kind of products (that are often cheaper, better, or both) and have much more customer-friendly corporate policies that are more typical in the industry. Going forward, I will exclusively be using these kind of alternative companies for all of my needs for the kinds of products that Sabrent produces, and I strongly recommend everyone else does too. Sabrent's customer-hostile business practices simply have no place in the marketplace in the 2020's, with so many alternative companies that actually respect their customers.

But, if you simply must buy a Sabrent product for some reason, then I cannot recommend strongly enough that you avoid buying it directly from Sabrent's website, because, if you do, you will also be subject to all of their terrible, customer-hostile policies that prevent you from returning or price-matching the item you purchased.

If you must buy a Sabrent product, then, please, at least buy it from a reputable third-party reseller instead of from the Sabrent website. That's because most reputable resellers have a reasonable return policy of some sort (really, any return policy that allows you to return unopened items for any sort of refund at all is better the - frankly, ridiculous - "policy" you are subject to when ordering from the Sabrent website, where they will simply keep any items you return, even if they are unopened, without providing any sort of refund for those items under any circumstance), and many resellers have a fairly good price-matching policy as well.

Not to mention, pretty much every company in the world will have more friendly customer service representatives who will answer your questions with more than just "it's our policy".

Here's why not to buy a Sabrent 1TB Rocket Nvme PCIe…

I took delivery of a Sabrent 1TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal SSD on Feb. 2nd 2023 from Amazon and installed it as the 'C' drive in a new build. After a few days the PC started to boot into the UEFI/Bios and on checking in the UEFI the drive was showing 0 capacity. Initially it would clear after a power down, but then quickly became permanent. The seller referred me to Sabrent who didn't want to know unless I returned it to them in the States from the UK and paid for the international postage myself and even then they didn't guarantee they would replace it. As it couldn't be erased I decided it wasn't worth the security risk sending it back to either Sabrent or Amazon so I'm £85 down the drain. In any event it's a cheap generic Chinese drive, (Google the PCB number: Q020012SE004802E-V1 so I wouldn't want another.. So I'd suggest you give it a wide berth, also because there are lots of other posted identical problems with this drive, (do a Google search for: "Here's why you should NOT buy a Sabrent Rocket SSD"). I bought an identical spec. Crucial one to replace it and that's been fine.
