My package arrived quickly and securely wrapped. I was pleasantly surprised to find an additional drawstring bag for the work in progress. I'm not a crocheter but the pattern looked straightforward and the wool was beautiful.

I can't believe how this small company have gone above and beyond to help me for just one ball of wool.
I had ordered many balls of chunky wool from Stitch and story in the past to knit a couple of blankets and was very pleased with the quality and service. I recently started knitting again with leftover wool and was annoyingly just a little short to be able to finish. I emailed to see if they could help as this certain colour was no longer showing on the website.
Penny amazingly went out of her way to check all the pallets in their warehouse as she thought they may have some. It took a few weeks but she persevered and found some!

Ordered a few knitting kits, one of which was a child hat and scarf set, which as I started knitting it became apparent the pattern and measurements didn't make sense, but I am only a 'slightly better than beginner' knitter, so I wasn't sure. Made contact with customer services to check and it turns out the pattern wasn't correct for this one kit. Emma was so incredibly helpful in working out the correct pattern, checking my swatch size and adapting the cast on and row numbers accordingly. This also then required more wool which she kindly sent out. I also ordered an adult snood which I wanted to be able to knit to a child friendly size and Emma helped work out the revised pattern for this too. The wool, especially the Lil Merino, is gorgeous. The kits are easy to follow and the video tutorials on their website are very useful. The customer service and support has been really wonderful - Emma was very responsive, very kind, patient, supportive and helpful in all communication and made everything very clear.

The product was good but I paid for express delivery 2 business days £10 and the package arrived late. When I emailed the company to complain I received no response. Do not bother paying for express delivery.
Since writing this review Stitch and Story have been in contact and have refunded the express delivery cost. They have been very apologetic and have made a gesture of goodwill with a £5 gift voucher. I like the product and mistakes do happen it is nice that they are making efforts to compensate.
