Avoid this dropshipper

I ordered 5 pairs of socks on the 4th of december. I did not receive any confirmation of the order. The socks arrived the 18th of december. They were Christmas presents, so just in time, but 14 days is quite long for a delivery time. Makes you realize this is a dropship company.
The socks were really horrible. Too small, the uploaded image unrecognizable, the colors not bright and even difference in color in what should be the same color pattern. It looks like the socks have been used and washed for a 1000 times. So, okay, they are using a bad dropshipper. Even though this ruined my Christmas present for my colleagues (I ordered 5 pair for all my colleagues), I could still buy a new Christmas surprise for them, even if was not the personalized gift I wanted it to be.
So, I send them an email (on the 19th of december) explaining the situation, uploading photos of one pair of the socks (and also including the image they provided - what the socks should look like), but clearly explaining that it's all socks that are the same quality (seems kind of logical, as they are all made in the same company). So I get the reaction (on the 28th of december) if it was only the pair of which I was sending a photo and that they want to either send a new pair or make a refund.
I reply to them (on the 28th of december) explaining again that it was the same for all socks. This time I upload photos of all pairs and include the photos that they provided, so they can see the difference between their image and the final product.
I get a reply on the 1st of january that they need to have proof (photos) of the socks I have received. I reply the same day that I have already sent photos of all socks I received.
Today (7th of january) I receive a message that I will get one pair of new socks.
I obviously replied to them that I would like a full refund for all pairs and also include the information that I have already sent them all the photos they have asked for.
So, long story short: avoid. I am not sure if I will get my money back, but the socks have not been used for presents. I would be ashamed to give anyway such a horrible gift.

Update: Got a reaction today (12 january) They will not give any refund, they will send me new socks. I replied that I don't want new socks, but a full refund.
Clearly their service is the worst that you can imagine. But of course they are not making any money if everybody gets a refund. So their business model is that they say they can not make a refund, because the product is personalized. And then they throw in some european law about personalized items, which is nonsense as this speaks about Fourteen-day right of withdrawal instead of the product being inferior.

Update II: Got an email from them (12 january) that they will not refund. It is either a giftcard or new socks.
I answered them to make new socks, as they do not give me any other choice.
I got a reply from them (13 january) that in the case that I want new socks, I should design the socks with a different photo, because the reason of the low quality of the socks were the photos, which is of course total nonsense. I replied to them that I will not design new socks, but that I expect them to deliver what they have shown me on the design page after uploading my photos.

I got my socks

I got my socks, but it took some time.

But I thought I bought from a Swedish company, but it seems to be a China company... and thats not nice to pretend to be something thats not true.

I took a good picture of my cat, but the picture on the socks looks like a potato and nothing like a cat!!

And a LARGE logo with SWESOCKS all over the foot on the socks looks really really bad.

Cannot recomend this product at all.

Cheap China Shit

Cheap China production, and they put their logo right on top of the sock, not even underneath… So disappointed. Please, EU — ban these types of companies.

Hi Amanda,
I’m really sorry to hear how disappointed you feel – I completely understand how frustrating that must be.

SweSocks is a Swedish company, and everything is designed by our own team, but we do work with international production to be able to make personalized socks for customers all over the world. That said, the result should of course still feel well-made and thought through.

If the quality or the logo placement wasn’t what you expected, that’s something we genuinely want to look at and fix. Please reach out to us on the mail so we can go through your order properly and find a solution that feels fair to you. Your experience really matters to us 💛

Kind regards,
Hanna

China!

They present themselfs like a swedish production, swedish design, blahblahblah!
And then, when you follow your order, you find out it is waiting in the terminal in China!
I am so disappointed! Btw. I ordered 29.11. and today 16.12. it did still not arrive to the country.
Never again.

Hi Lenny,
thank you for sharing your experience.

We understand why it was surprising to see your order passing through an international terminal. SweSocks is a Swedish company, but to be able to reach customers worldwide as quickly as possible, we work with an international production and warehouse setup. We have high quality standards and perform continuous quality checks on all products.

That said, the delivery time you describe is longer than it should be. Your order was placed during the Black Friday period, when the volume is significantly higher than usual, and this can unfortunately affect production and lead to delays. We’re sorry that this has impacted your experience.

If you’d like us to look into your specific order and see what can be done, please contact us on the mail and we’ll make sure to find a solution. We want you to feel taken care of, even when things don’t go as planned 💛

Kind regards,
Hanna
