I purchased several of the Luxe Wood plantation shutter and love the quality and construction. The ordering and process is easy and the call back from the order department to review and confirm the order gave me confidence that the order was correct. There was shipping damage to some of the parts of my order and the company quickly reordered the damaged pieces. I will definitely purchase from the Shutter Store again.

I received an order that contained two shutters. One was 1/16" larger than the agreed design dimension. The other shutter was 1/8". I called the company on Saturday, during noted operation hours, and left a message. They did not call back. I sent an email Monday morning, and they did not respond. I called Wednesday, again, no answer, and sent a follow-up email. I also used the chat function and no one responded.

Phone support helped me to get correct measurements for an oversize Bay Window. It makes me happy to see how quickly they understood my unusual project. It was reassuring to know that they would call me and tell me what additional information they need to make the perfect shutter. I soon finalized the order.

Despite their best effort, heavy accents get in the way of progress. Also, terrible connection from some of these folks are they working from home? From a cell phone on speakerphone? I found myself on the phone asking the associate to repeat herself over and over again. Not efficient.

I purchased the full height window for my kitchen window. One of the main reasons I chose the company was for their Customer service reviews. I am greatly disappointed. I had workers over repairing and installing other items, it appears as if the hardware to the shutters was misplaced. I contacted the company to purchase additional hardware. I sent 3 emails and spoke to someone on the phone, no one has had the decency to follow thru on my request. I am very happy I hadn't purchased the additional shutters I planned

The company sent me the frame with the wrong mounting style (inside mount instead of outside mount as ordered), so I was unable to mount the frame on my window. The style sent does not seem to have a wide enough piece for me to even safely drill new holes in the spot I need them, and if I did, the old incorrect holes would be clearly visible on the frame.
I reached out to them to let them know of the error and they acknowledged that they had sent the wrong item. They offered to send a new frame, which would take an additional 9-12 weeks, but stated they would not put the hinges on this frame so I would have to remove them from the old frame and mount them myself. In other words, they offered another 2-3 months of waiting for an inferior item to what I would have gotten if they had not made a mistake. I told them I was unhappy with this and wanted the item I ordered (with the hinges), which is what paid over $500 for. I was then instead offered a $50 discount to keep the incorrect frame that I cannot use.
I have tried calling the support number to talk to someone live and no one ever picks up. I asked them repeatedly for a call back via email and they will not get on the phone.
If you get the right item, lucky you and maybe these shutters are worth it. I wouldn't know because I cannot use the incorrect item I was sent. But if they make a mistake, do not expect them to care to fix it. In my opinion, not worth the risk and I would go with a company with better customer service who are not drop-shipping items from China without sufficient quality checks to identify an obvious error.

Great looking shutters at reasonable price!
So far the experience has been very professional and relatively easy. The shutters will not arrive for about 10 weeks but should be worth the wait considering the savings which was $4k. The other reason I chose the shutter store was that we were able to purchase wood grain shutters to match the molding of our 100+ year home!
