Frances, with Truth Legal was amazing! She went far above and beyond in getting my UK spousal Visa approved. There is a five hour difference between the UK and the US, so I know that every time she contacted me in the late afternoon my time, it was nighttime for her. We had a specific timeline in mind due to obligations in the US before we could move, which she helped us make. Also, my spouse had not lived in the UK for over 10 years and Frances assisted us through getting the residency requirements. She was with us every step of the way and made the process so much easier than it would have been without her. I cannot thank her and her team enough for all they did for us. I highly recommend Truth Legal!

I had no idea what to expect when I first contacted Truth Legal and what initially impressed me was that they advised me to contact my Union. They explained that it would be cheaper as I wouldn’t incur any costs but they would be happy to represent me.
After contacting the Union legal team I found them as unhelpful as the Union Representatives so I reconnected with Truth Legal about six months after my initial inquiry.
Truth Legal have looked after me for the past 3 years which has been the length of the case. They kept in touch and updated me, advised me well explaining everything in a way that I understood.
Hopefully I wont be needing them again but I would highly recommend them if you are unfortunate enough to need legal help

Truth Legal (TL) have been working on my behalf for the last 3 years in relation to a personal injury claim due to being dismounted from my bike after hitting a pothole in the centre of Harrogate, which caused substantial injuries to my face and body resulting in extensive dental treatment and two shoulder operations.

The team at TL built a very strong case for me, including the engagement with various medical experts and liaison with a barrister and insurance companies. Throughout the process, I was regularly in touch with them and they kept me informed at every stage of the process by email and phone.

Their perseverance and determination to reach a positive outcome was amazing. They offered me clear advice around the legal position and my options, and we ended making an offer to North Yorkshire Council for financial settlement to avoid going to Court. The strength of the case which had been built clearly contributed to the acceptance by the Council and payout by them.

I’m giving this law firm three stars mainly because they responded quickly after I reached out — they got back to me fast and were clear in their reply.

That said, their response was essentially to say they wouldn’t take on the case. I got the impression that they avoid anything that might require real effort or deeper involvement. They seem more suited to routine, low-risk matters that don’t demand much thought.

If you have a more serious or complex issue, I wouldn’t count on them.
