Don't book with these people. They don't return your calls and aren't any help when you finally get ahold of someone. Stay away! They refused my refund when canceling my airline ticket. They said they told me it was non refundable but I don't remember that. Better to go direct. Good Luck.

Booking Buddy is a scam

Booking Buddy is a scam. They let you book flights that are already full and expect you to go on standby. Then when you say that you cannot go on standby they try to make you pay almost double what you paid to get another flight.
I will never try to book with them again and will tell everyone that I know about their dishonorable practices.

Really Disappointed

I HAD MY NIECE RENT A AIR BNB FOR ME IN MANCHESTER ENGLAND @2 Malta Street in Manchester and it was a horrible experience, the bed was all spring, we had to use the pillows to help cushion us from the wires in the bed, same for the pull out that my son slept on, he also had to use the chair cushions for the pull out bed. That mattress should have been thrown out and no one should have that kind of experience for a service that was paid for. I would never use this site again. Unit G16 Please get rid of that mattress, its has done its days. I should have been refunded.

Couldn't believe BB would pull out F rated at BBB.Its a total rip off. They wouldn't cancel my trip within 5 minutes knowing it was a scam. Trash

Used bookingbuddy since I had used it before. This was years ago though. It lead me to a site FrendzTravel.com. Turned out to be a scam. I assumed it was legitimate since I used BookingBuddy before. That’s on me but I will just stick to the company sites

ZERO STARS for The Ala Mar Inn

ZERO STARS. While you may be inclined to believe this boutique hotel is lovely and charming, what's inside is despicable! Prior to reserving a room, I called to check availability, and a young man answered and asked if I could be placed on hold. The receiver on his end was placed on the counter, where I then was privy to an entire 10-minute conversation between the employees and a guest checking in. The 'hold' turned into momentary warbling muzak, and I was then disconnected. That alone should have been my red flag. Despite this, my husband and I decided to roll the dice and book a one night stay at this property. We were greeted by the front staff and placed in a lower king bedroom, street view. Fast forward to bedtime. There was an occupant directly above us who, for several hours, moved what sounded like furniture back and forth across the floor. In addition, between redecorating their room, they proceeded to bang on the metal railing for about a couple of hours. The room does not come with a telephone, so we were not able to call the front desk. When this was mentioned in the morning, we were given a lukewarm apology and no offer of credit, a discount, zip. What is really disconcerting is the 'hold' placed on my card. An amount of $150 was placed against my card that was to be removed post checkout and within two days. Two business days have come and gone, and my statement now reflects a pending charge. When calling the property to clarify, a young woman I spoke to immediately interrupted me before I was able to explain the situation. When I told her she was rude for interrupting me, I was told to calm down. I was told the hotel did not charge me, my bank did, and to take up the issue with my bank. A representative at my bank confirmed that the hotel did, in fact, charge my card, TWO DAYS AFTER I checked out in the amount of $150. Just a few minutes ago, I received a call from a restricted number. It was a woman by the name of Maria who scolded me and instructed me to call my bank 100 times, and that what I described didn't matter. She then hung up on me. Suffice to say, these people should not be in the service industry. I have stayed at 5 star hotels in the heart of Paris and dumps in the desert. I have never been treated so terribly. For an industry that depends on word of mouth and good reviews, this place is the worst! It's clear that the owners and operators of this establishment have zero clue about how to treat their guests, take no responsibility for the well-being and comfort of their guests while in their care, and exact unscrupulous fees which will take concerted effort to recoup. Please consider all of this before stepping into the spiders web that is known as The Ala Mar Inn. Buyer Beware!

Bookingbuddy has a included a travel website called journey masters which is a bait and switch scam. I am disappointed they did not vet this fraudulent operation before they allowed it on their website.

Transcript of voicemail they left as soon as i had booked what i thought were super fares. It sounded to good to be true but believed they were legit since they were on bookingbuddy.com

Zero rating if I could

Zero rating if I could, then I thought it was a scam. Picked out my dates and flights, no one confirmed my seats. When I finally reached someone after saying...is this a scam, they said those flights are over booked. I'm booking 3 months in advance. Soooo I canceled everything. And went with Priceline which is legit.

Double the Bag Fees; Triple the Stress

Booked my Spirit Airline flights for November with them in September. Took Spirit 3 days to recognize the res # that Bookingbuddy gave me, and then I was able to buy bags for the flight through Spirit's website under that res number. The evening before my flight I go to check in, and Spirit says that the res was cancelled in early October due to credit card fraud. Not mine, but apparently somebody at Bookingbuddy. So I'm totally out of luck.

At this point, I'm frantically trying to get booked back on the flight, when I get a call on my cell from Bookingbuddy telling me that they're emailing me my boarding passes. And THOSE weren't real Spirit Airlines boarding passes but just a printout of a new res under a new number. Huh? The crisis was averted in that the new res number let me actually check in on the Spirit site. But I had to re-buy the bags, because they wouldn't acknowledge the purchase under the OLD res number. I had to buy the bags both ways all over again, and lost $204. Spirit Airlines says it's my problem - not theirs and that they flat-out DO not refund bags.

The good news is that we traveled as planned. But it was WAY too much stress on me and having to double pay for the bags ate up whatever savings I was getting in the cheap flight through Bookingbuddy. Never again!

Use booking buddy years ago and…

Use booking buddy years ago and everything was fine. Attempted to use it a couple days and it was a scam. Booked and purchased tickets for $ 354.00. Next day received text and calls, regarding my purchase. They issued a confirmation # with Delta Airlines. Was told the money paid was a holding fee. There was another payment due. Thought the money was extremely reasonable. Be aware when using Booking Buddy!!!

Booking Buddy.com is a scam!!

Booking Buddy.com is a scam!!! This is the 2nd time I encountered the same problem. I booked on the website and got the booking confirmation, then a couple of days later the agent called & said that the pricing I had booked was no longer available and made me pay much higher price. They got ALL kinds of excuses… it looks like this company is located in India, not in the U.S.
When they booked they changed ALL the names of my family members to Indian names and it was so hectic and time consuming to deal with the agents… very rude agents and hard ti understand their English….I am going to report this to Minnesota Business Bureau!!!

As a frequent traveler

As a frequent traveler , I am telling you the truth that www.my flights buddy.com is really a fraud company. I booked 2 tickets today from them as they are showing the lowest fares. Then I received the reservations number right away through my emails , but it comes without a sticker number . I put these reservation numbers on the airline webs , it was showing that the bookings were not completed at all . So I called myflightsbuddy and they told me that the fares I saw were gone and I would have to pay a higher fare for the same tickets . So I told them I would like to cancel the trips coz there were not suitable for me any more , what was funny more was they started to play the game by telling me to offer another discount offer or charge additional cancel fee for that . At first , the guy said the cancellation fees were charged by the airlines , I told him that I was in front of my computer and there is always a free cancellation according to the websites ; then the guy said again that they still had to charge it because everything was good to go and I was the one who wanted to cancel , so that’s why they are charging me . I told him I bought these tickets 30 minutes ago on the same day and how come they could charge me for that . This won’t happen anywhere in the U.S. I told them I would going to write the bad view on all the webs and freeze my Credit Card, and share these bad experiences to people as much as possible. Then they called back and said they would cancel these for free . But I had freed my card by the moment. After that I called up my bank customer service, I was told that there are some issues happened like my case , these bad guys would wait till your transaction is done and then push you to pay a higher fare or charge you more money for cancellation. So be very careful with this web and always double check your reservation number and eticket number when you make a airline booking. I learned from my lesson today !

I booked a flight through their website…

I booked a flight through their website 11/30/22 with Flight Fare Deals. I got my confirmation but it said that it was pending so I decided to call to see why. So the price I paid for basic economy was no longer available and that's why it was pending. The agent goes on to say that he could keep me on the same flight but for way more money than I was willing to pay. Basically price gouging people. Needless to say didn't book with them. Second time I went through another one of their partners Travel01. Same thing happen they didn't have any basic economy and the agent again tried to price gouge me. I told them that they needed to remove the flights off their website since they don't actually have any. The agent goes on to say with basic economy I wouldn't be allowed to carry in luggage on the plane. I informed him that I fly often and never heard of that because it would've been through Delta that allows a carry on or checked bag. He continues to say I keep you on same flight but it would be way more than what I was willing to pay. I have booked through booking buddy alot and never had a problem but between last night and today these people really tried to make me pay way more than I should have. I informed them that they needed to remove the basic flights since they don't have any. Please save your energy and time because they have horrible customer service. My best friend's booking was cancelled too and they try the same thing with her...price gouging..
