I insured my iron because I am always ironing and tend to go through them pretty quickly - unfortunately my iron decided to go to iron heaven. I was able to change my iron to one of my choice with no hassle whatsoever, the staff member was lovely and polite.

I went to Curry's as there was a Lenovo computer advertised on the TV , the assistant went overboard with helping me chose one that suited my needs, he added a free Microsoft pack that would have costed over £100. great experience this time.

Forced feedback & personal information
Sending this due to the horrendous corporate practices. I went into a store to purchase a pack of two batteries, I was asked for personal details and email address for a “digital receipt” at the till - sure whatever. I have then been contacted multiple times via email(including from trustpilot) for feedback. That feedback then continues to ask for more personal info including income and number of children in the household - this is a disgusting tactic to gather customer details - beyond awful. Stop this practice, avoiding the brand going forward.

Never collected an order from DPD local…
Never collected an order from DPD local drop off shop as changed my mind was emailed saying it would be returned back to Currys on the 18th November 2025 if I didn't collect before which I didn't? Still waiting for a refund for this item spoke to 8-9 different people on web chat about it keep getting fobbed off with the same thing will be passed on to right department and will hear something between 48 to 72 hours and will receive a refund in 5-7 working days 🤣 still waiting for both absolute joke

Good choice of goods at competitive prices
The Sales Representatives are very welcoming, efficient and helpful. They answer questions and will guide you to the correct product. They have a lot of choice of electrical goods at a competitive price.
The most incompetent service as a whole with no sense of responsibility and or liability to the consumer
My partner and I wanted a specific microwave from curry’s which had to be ordered online as it wasn’t available in store. We’ve tried to order this twice, both times it has never arrived, the first time it took a long time to get a refund but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and re- ordered it with them. This time, it has been quite frankly shocking and the most infuriating experience. Not only has it not arrived, 6 weeks later of trying to get in touch with the team for a refund we get told each time that it will be dealt with and contact is simply lost. To me it just seems like a con to take the money of the consumer then, send the item and loose all responsibility of it once it’s with the courier. What an insult, no respect for the customers, no organisation or communication within the team to fix a simple error of something not arriving. For such a big company who should run smoothly and deal with these things easily, it’s a bit of a joke. We’ve been messed around so much, no respect for people’s hard earned money or consumer rights.
We’ve now had to actually turn to the bank to help get our money back where curry’s has completely failed.
Connor was outstanding
Connor was outstanding. He appreciated that we didn’t understand the tech so kept it simple and answered our questions. He asked about the use and then advised the best product. When we explained it was for our son who is a young adult with learning difficulties he continued in the same manner he had begun. Supportive, knowledgeable and inclusive. He ensured that notes were written for delivery to take into account the needs of our son. He also negotiated a discount with the store manager. In addition to this, he walked us through the paperwork making sure we understood about the care and repair plan. In a busy store we were made to feel like we were his only priority and nothing was rushed. Thank you Connor.

Poor customer service and yet agin ..12 days off trying too get a refund for a flat screen tv that’s never left curry’s in the 1st place …8 calls ..( yes 8 calls ) and been told that I never requested a refund from 28/01/2026 and yes I asked so many times so now from the 11/02/2026 that i need to submit a request again from date stated above…I was basically told I was a lyer ..you don't listen ..you need to stop calling curry’s but yet how do I go about getting refund when they don’t put me thru too complaints..NO ONE CARES…no help ..nothing and they say …unhappy customer is too many unhappy customers…..curry’s quote!!!!
