Matias

Matias, the manager. Awful person. I hope you resign. No support, nothing when reservation was wrong. And Hotel was not clean.

Utterly terrible.

Our trip to Italy was cancelled due to COVID-19. My family is owed over $7,000. I've tried to call their US and UK numbers for A YEAR, both leading to unanswered and unreturned phone calls and emails. To not refund that much money during a pandemic, when people could use it the most, is despicable and unacceptable.

Still waiting on refund from US

My trip to Paris was cancelled due to COVID-19 and its been an entire year now that I have not received my refund. I am being told that I have to keep waiting since I am a unsecured creditor. $1,560.00 is what I am requesting back. I don't get no response and no email back from no one.

Refused a voucher during EU travel ban.

My long-planned, pre-paid, Paris trip was cancelled on March 13, 2020, due to the US covid-related travel ban. I am a US citizen, over the age of 60, and was advised not to travel. I implored Fleetway to provide a voucher for future travel. Initially their representative was rude, then dismissive. They refused to make the matter right. DO NOT use if you want decent, trustworthy service.

Fleetway claim.

After nearly 4 months trying to claim a refund from ATOL/Cega, I have just been told to apply for a section 75 because ATOL do not pay claims if you paid for the holiday on mastercard. Is that true? Or are they just fobbing me off again.

Another casualty of Fleetway Travel/Secret Escapes

Another casualty of Secret Escapes/Fleetway Travel - Secret escapes no help, CAA just keep asking for repeat information! delay tactics - 3 months since my original claim - tried to reclaim from master card but transaction over 120 days so then did a section 75 reclaim - sent this off 23/9 no reply or acknowledgment from MasterCard (John Lewis) not sure what my next action can be but i'm determined not to give up on getting my money back!! any advice would be welcome.

Disappointed that CAA have still not…

Disappointed that CAA have still not refunded me for the two holidays I’ve lost out on due to Fleetway going into administration. It’s 3 months since I made the claim... they just revert back for more and more paperwork. Spoke on the phone to an agent and from what I gather they are delaying refunds to those whom booked via Secret Escapes... because Secret Escapes are still trading? Has anyone else had this problem? Apparently approval has not yet been granted to refund.

Money back quickly

I paid for all of my holiday, booked for May, by credit card. When I received the CAA's "negative response letter" on 23 /7/20 I made an immediate online claim to my credit card company with all the associated correspondence uploaded. They responded immediately and the entire holiday payment was refunded to my credit card account by the 26/7/20 (though temporarily). The credit card company will now pursue the matter. The 5* is for the Credit Card Company not for Fleetway|

Advice please

We were claiming a credit cardcharge back for cancelled holiday in May. Now Fleetway is in administration our card company ( John Lewis finance) say we must claim from ATOL. The email from ATOL received yesterday clearly states to claim from credit card company. They attached a generic letter asking the credit card Company to accept it as the CAA’s negative response letter. John Lewis will only accept an individual titled letter not a generic one. I spoke to Tanisha this morning at ATOL, they can not & will not issue individual letters or emails only generic ones. Has anyone else got this stressful problem & if so how are you proceeding?
Thank you for any advice, Ann

FLEETWAY AN UNRELIABLE TRAVEL AGENT

In October 2019 we booked and paid in full for a holiday for March, 2020. Fleetway cancelled on 5th March, 2020 due to Flybe collapse and promised us a full refund within 14 days. Now on 21st July, we are still waiting. Have made numerous phone calls and emails and lots of failed promises given to us.
WARNING!!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. THIS COMPANY IS STILL BEING ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE HOLIDAYS. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!!!!!

Not a 1 Star as we know ZERO

So I thought i had my Chargeback safely on my Barclaycard. I recently asked for the money to be transferred to my bank account and the reply was,
This is a temporary credit in lieu of the transaction which is in dispute and therefore cannot transfer.
Once the documentation has been reviewed, this TEMP CREDIT!! will be removed and replaced with any other appropriate adjustments, e.g credit for chargeback, removal due to merchant credit.
I reckon i am not going to get it now. I will be phoning B/C. This has been ongoing since April 5th.

Complete shambles

Complete shambles! Directors did a dis service to customers. Now in administration claiming no money! I will only travel with Trailfinders who refunded all money paid on a May holiday without being asked. Dealing with Fleetway was an expensive experience in end March which needed section 75 claim via credit card to getany satisfaction.

Like previous comments we are the same position and started the small claims court procedure last week - can we claim this back from Atol or so we let the due court process continue ?

Does CEO Stuart Jackson need to rewrite his CV ?

The CEO Stuart Jackson says on his LinkedIn profile: "Commercially focused travel industry executive with wide ranging expertise across large national and international brands, intra-group divisions, joint ventures and entrepreneurial start-ups. A strong commercial background with a proven track-record for developing and implementing business strategies" A joke ?

Amazing how the stars are calculated…

Amazing how the stars are calculated here as so many thousand of us have complained about Fleetway Travel. Wiggled and squirmed for the last four months to try and keep customers from their money. Run by folk who had no interest in running a sustainable business and no interest in the customer - the Directors should be prosecuted.

Administration

So fleetway have now gone into administration, all the lies and deceit over the past 4 months, the company had no future. Stuart Jackson should now be unemployable for the way he has dealt with customers. Make sure when you book a future holiday he is not involved with the company. His previous job was at Monach, and we all Know what happened to them. Good luck to everyone trying to get refunds

Shame on you Fleetway

Not before time.
I think we all knew what the outcome would be. I have a chargeback claim in progress and also have small claim court proceedings pending.
I do hope everybody receives their rightful refunds.
Check out all personnel on
companieshouse.gov.uk and when booking your next trip ensure none of these individuals are associated with your tour operator.
Good luck.
I think I need a holiday 😂

Fleetway Are Crooks - BE WARNED!!!

In order to write this review, I had to award a minimum of one star. Do not be deceived, Fleetway are not worthy of even that “accolade”. Fleetway cancelled our holiday to Corfu in March, even though we were not due to fly until April. They responded to a number of emails offering everything EXCEPT a refund which left me with no option but to raise a Sec 75 claim with Barclaycard. Barclaycard took many weeks to ‘credit’ my account but that credit was not accessible to me as it was ‘frozen’. I have now discovered that Barclaycard have reversed that frozen credit, meaning I am back to square one. Presumably Fleetway have challenged my claim. DO NOT EVER BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SHARKS. I am now submitting a claim to the Financial Ombudsman.
