Instructor Simon Tyler- I really enjoyed my lessons with Simon, he made learning to drive, something I was quite nervous about, a great experience, he was always so kind & patient & explained things so well, would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive, thanks so much

I passed my driving test with one driver fault. Perfect instructor, got my manoeuvres and driving bang on and driving safely for the rest of my life. Would recommend if you want to pass quick👍

Have been scammed by passngo. Initially my lessons were all cancelled to which I had to request to change instructor. Booked in for my theory with them to them arranging it in a completely different city to where I lived and couldn’t commute to, when asked to cancel it so I could book my own they didn’t reply for 2 months. I cancelled lessons I had booked in as this company is a shambles. Now I’m being told it’s no refunds even tho they haven’t provided me with driving lessons or theory. I escalated the situation and was told this would be dealt with in 28 days. It’s been over 3 weeks since I last had an email from them. Can’t get hold of them over the phone. Don’t reply to emails. Will be reporting this company to trading standards as I have all the evidence of them failing to provide the service that I paid for, failing to provide adequate customer service, and failing to resolve the issue at hand. Also reported to the bank for a refund, again having all the evidence that their own terms and conditions haven’t been met by themselves. Paid for this back in November and it is now February with still no resolution

I can’t recommend Helen Ellis highly enough. I passed my driving test today on my very first attempt with *0 minors*, and that result is absolutely down to Helen’s teaching.

From day one, I asked Helen to be firm, direct, and to push me into proper test‑ready driving — and she delivered exactly that. She knows how to strike the perfect balance between supportive guidance and the kind of constructive challenge that genuinely makes you a better, safer driver.

Every lesson was focused, clear, and tailored to what I needed. Helen doesn’t just teach you to pass a test; she teaches you to *drive well*. Her standards are high, her explanations are spot‑on, and her confidence in you builds your own.

I was so nervous for my first lesson, being an anxious person any way, but Dean made me feel so comfortable.
It is clear that Dean is a knowledgeable driving instructor and has a lovely manner and way of making you feel at ease.

Got in touch after having lessons cancelled and being blocked from booking any. Escalated case. Have not had a single reply in 3 weeks to the day. Scammers that will take your money, not provide you with lessons and not issue you a refund

I made a mistake originally by booking manual. I was reassured that they have changed my automatic.

Not just over the phone but via email.

I then get to the day of my lesson. A manual instructor comes. We are just about to start the lesson. I said I book automatic not manual. So that’s where it ended. He said he’ll cancel the lesson and put the hours back into my account.

I ring sales line explaining I was not happy but couldn’t speak to cs as not open until 9-130 which is ridiculous opening ours for support.

Then sale guy tells me it’s basically my fault and I’ll have to pay the hours out of my allowance as the driver needs paid and I’m lucky he’s offered advice. Very rude

No apology or anything.

I also emailed and rang them during the time of the lesson so that not hard to prove

I have to wait 28 days for them to respond to my complaint.

What a joke of a company. I’ve asked for my 2 hours back which I didn’t take which their q&a say is an easy fix but it’s really now 28days to find out if I can have the hours back I didn’t use!!!!!!

Stay clear not worth the hassle full of lies, attitude and long waits to get no further forward

To add further to my review I’ve rang up this morning had a man talk over me, not apologies when I told him this he said I can apologies about the delay. That’s not my issue but he never let me get out my situation every time I spoke he interrupted me and just completely ignored me saying he will get the girl to ring me clearly not accountability at this company

I had been having lessons with Mohammad Rahman since September. They were going okay, he was a bit unprofessional at times, telling me he speeds and flips off drivers. He told me some factually incorrect stuff too like all give way signs are only put up when someone dies on a road. And he was regularly late, without making up the time at the end or in following lessons. But I managed to learn the basics of driving with him.

I had booked my driving test for February in advance, and booked use of his car. Come February 4th, 3 weeks before my test, he cancels ALL future lessons - 24hrs prepaid, including use of the car for my test. I am now unable to complete my test. But moreover, Mohammad claims I screamed at him and that was the reason he cancelled. This never happened! And if I had, why would it take 9 days for him to cancel the future lessons? Surely you’d cancel the day after such an incident - not 12 hours before my next lesson with him.

So now I obviously try to find a new driver or get a refund - Pass n Go inform it’s a 6 week waitlist!!! (After sitting on hold on the phone for 35 minutes) So I’ve asked for my money back. They said they can refund me 20hrs but not the 4hrs because they were bought outside of a 14 day period - I bought them all on the same day though? So I’ll be getting that refunded through my bank.

Waste of time overall. Should’ve started with a different instructor and driving school. I now can’t get another test date until July - 5 months later than I should’ve had my test.

I had a really good experience as I learnt more than I knew before about driving and rules of the road, which helped me pass my part 2 test with more confidence!

I passed my driving test first time, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Alison. She’s very patient, calm, and explains everything clearly, which really helped build my confidence.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - I have had the absolute worst experience with this company!

The first driving instructor I was assigned was consistently late and would cancel sessions with minimum notice, and knowing I had my driving test booked (booked with his advice), decided to tell me after cancelling lessons three weeks in a row with no notice that he had decided to leave the company due to conflicts.

The second driver I was assigned decided that I was no longer in his catchment area and also cancelled lessons with me - knowing I had a driving test booked in two weeks.

After knowing all of this, Pass N Go have taken no responsibility and are refusing to pay me back the £300+ I have in lesson credits with them - even though they have confirmed that they cannot find me another instructor in time for my test (but are happy to refund the money if I magically find a way to pass my driving test without an Instructor).

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.

Helen was absolutely amazing! The most patient kindest person! She really got to know the way I would learn things without me knowing. Would 100% recommend her to anyone! 10/10 instructor!

He understands your needs as a learner and helps identify and address your weaknesses. Passed first time with only one minor fault thanks to the guidance of Graeme. Thank you!

I booked 10 hour block and had my first lesson in 2 days time. Martin Jobling is a brilliant instructor, very nice and very supportive. I have never driven before and he explained everything really well and I drove for the first time with confidence! Would highly recommend him as an instructor.

I had a great experience learning with Hussein al-Sammarraie from Pass n Go. He’s patient, professional, and explains everything clearly without making you feel pressured. He builds your confidence while making sure you actually understand the road, not just memorise it. Lessons were structured but relaxed, which made such a difference.

After passing my test on the first attempt, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Sarah. Before starting these lessons I was quite a nervous driver after some previous negative experiences, however once I switched to Sarah she put me at ease and helped me to overcome those nerves.
Sarah is understanding, supportive, and encouraging. She is calm, has lots of patience, and I couldn’t fault her teaching style one bit.
Most importantly, she is incredibly down to earth with a lovely personality. Not only is she knowledgable instructor but also always up for a chat, with some great stories and great laughs, all whilst feeling safe and confident on the road.
I will miss these lessons but I’m very grateful for a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Sarah - any student would be lucky to have you.

Today I had my first lesson after being let down by previous instructor. My new instructor is Hussien Al-sammarraie, he made me feel at ease and look forward this process with him. Dylan. S

Passed my test on the 29th of jan my instructer was really good. He helped me alot with my bad points. he was so he never stressed out at me if i got anything wrong. He would talk to me about the mistakes i made that helped me feel more relaxed. i carnt thank Mariusz orlowski he was the best intructor i have had was only driving 5 months and passed first time.
