Despite paying correctly and on time every month via standing order (on the 1st, or by the 3rd if the 1st falls on a weekend), I repeatedly receive incorrect payment reminders and SMS messages.
These messages state that payments were missed, only partially received, or that outstanding amounts remain — all of which is demonstrably false. Payments have been made in full and on time and can be clearly evidenced.
This indicates a serious and ongoing failure in their billing/dunning system. Instead of fixing the issue, the burden is repeatedly pushed onto the customer. Two separate live chat attempts were also abruptly terminated without resolution, suggesting a complete lack of interest in addressing the problem.
The result is constant, unnecessary hassle caused entirely by their own internal errors. Extremely poor experience and a waste of time.

Really bad customer support.
Zinia refuses to issue invoices or receipts for the interest paid on the purchase (not for the product itself, but for the interest paid). I need that invoice/receipt for tax purposes.
Customer support is also slow and sends template answers that have nothing to do with the question asked.
I have rarely experienced worse customer support.

Last year I applied for Apple financing via Zinia. The application failed with a generic “error occurred” message and was immediately rejected — no reason, no explanation.
Thinking it was a technical issue, I tried again (twice). Only later did I discover that each attempt resulted in a SCHUFA credit inquiry, which significantly damaged my score. It took almost a full year to recover.
When I contacted Zinia support, instead of help or explanation, I received a completely inappropriate comment suggesting that “if you don’t have money, why buy Apple.” This was unprofessional and unacceptable.
Zinia:
- Performs credit checks without clear upfront warning
- Rejects applications without explanation
- Takes no responsibility for SCHUFA impact
- Provides poor and disrespectful customer support
Be extremely careful. A failed attempt can cost you a year of SCHUFA recovery.

I had a good experience using the Zinia app last night. The app is easy to use, clear, and the payment process worked smoothly, which I really appreciate.
However, after using the app, I am currently waiting for a response or support regarding my request. I hope the support team will be able to assist me soon.

Firstly l called Apple after receiving an email that my Oder was canceled the service was great then they directed my call to Zinia but the guy who answered the phone was not even interested in the conversation at first he was answering off topic and then later on he told me he can not see my order 😔 but then l let it slide after a while l chatted with a lady on the Zinia Application and the lady after telling her how l had called and talked to Apple she said there is nothing l can do, have a good day 😔. Basically l loved my experience with Zinia ❤️and l recommended it to many people only that the customer service should improve in the way they interact with customers
