Zen Payments has been an extremely frustrating experience. Customer service is poor, communication is inconsistent or nonexistent, and issues are not addressed in a timely manner. When you do reach out for support, responses are slow and lack clarity.
Additionally, the fee structure feels excessive and not transparent. Charges appear without adequate explanation, making it difficult to reconcile costs or understand what you are actually paying for.
For a payment processor, reliability and clear communication are essential. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I would not recommend Zen Payments based on service quality and overall value.
Junior was excellent! He was superb and walked me through the process.

I've worked with my fair share of payment processors and am glad to say that Zen ranks at the top. The very top.
One particular processor was downright hostile, by default, each and every person I spoke with, each and every time I called.
In addition to their incredibly condescending behavior, they often locked money up for basically no reason at all. Any reason they wanted.
Zen payments has been absolutely nothing like that.
They're the pollar opposite.
They've earned my business every single time I call. They're pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, downright cheery too!
In a world of mediocrity, Zen payments is like an oasis in the desert.
Can't go wrong here.
I'm a fan and will be for as long as I can be.
So far, I'd say they're probably the best in the business. That's not by accident. They've earned it.

I want to say this company is nothing but lies. Not only kolby promised me things. He wont return my call. I have 780 credit score. He said we would be running by Monday. I called Monday. He said we should have something Tuesday. Nothing. Then he quit answering my calls. 1 week later I finally got a hold of someone. They said my merchant account wasnt approved. So why the lies

Avoid Zen Payments at All Costs
My experience with Zen Payments has been deeply frustrating and unacceptable. I have been attempting to close my account for months, yet the company is withholding approximately $5,000 under the guise of a “reserve” with no legitimate justification.
To be clear, my account activity is minimal. I have had one transaction in the past six months and only three total transactions in the last twelve months, all combined totaling less than $400. There is no risk profile, no chargeback history, and no rational basis for holding such a large reserve. I was explicitly told that a human review would be conducted and that common sense would prevail. That has not happened.
Instead, Zen Payments has progressively degraded the customer experience. Initially, I was able to speak with someone by phone. Now, I am forced to submit tickets and receive generic, copy and paste responses that do not address the actual issue. This shift feels deliberate and designed to delay resolution rather than solve it.
At this point, it appears they are simply holding my funds indefinitely while offering excuses and procedural barriers. This is not how a reputable payments company operates. The lack of transparency, accountability, and meaningful customer support is alarming.
If you value access to your own money, responsive customer service, and fair treatment, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Zen Payments has proven to be unreliable, unresponsive, and deeply disappointing.
