Review of Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Welsh Water owes me in excess of £5,000…

Welsh Water owes me in excess of £5,000 in overpaid bills and yet they still employ the heavy-handed boys (Orbit), to pester me for a supposedly outstanding £1,339. Welsh Water are fully aware that I am a pensioner in my mid-70s trying to get by on a basic pension, living in a small 2 bed. Only until recently have they been telling me that there were no discounts available on the £550 payments that I was promptly paying every year. Welsh Water should stop Orbit harassing me as I have all the documents and proof that they are at fault.

BUYERS BEWARE

BUYERS BEWARE! Paid Freeads the £6.99 lifetime VIP membership fee last year. Now they tell me it's not valid and want me to pay them again. Lost the chance to purchase the dog of my dreams on their site. Paid the membership fee by visa over six months ago and now they refuse to refund or honour it.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Being treated like a criminal. Disappointed that my account has been put on hold twice in one month because some other dog owner tried to block me from advertising. I have no option now but to take legal action against this company. I had to verify my account with passports and utility bills, but still that wasn't enough. When I suggested closing my account and requesting a £11.99 refund, they didn't want to know. Advert is now in Free-ads with no problems. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

I have recently been let down by Yodel…

I have recently been let down by Yodel who have suddenly started complaining about parcels larger than 20cm, saying that they are too big and refuse to collect them from my local drop off shop, which is Finley Bevans Premier store in Burry Port. I have been using this service for years and think it's time to change back to Royal Mail who will collect direct from your home at no extra cost and also insure your items up to the value of £150. I ended up posting the same parcel in the next town.

SERIOUSLY LET DOWN BY THIS COMPANY

SERIOUSLY LET DOWN BY THIS COMPANY. YODEL & PREPAY are quite happy to rob me of my money, but would not allow me to spend it on parcel labels. Spent £30 and two days trying to resolve this issue with them only to be told to come back next week.

Racial discrimination and humiliation towards Ukrainian women. Racial discrimination and humiliation…

This all happened in front of the busy Saturday morning checkout queues. My Ukrainian wife accidently assumed that the boxes of rotting vegetables in the main window where people pack their bags, were free as she noticed one old lady before her, help herself to some old grapes. When my wife spoke and said that we needed a cucumber in broken English the manager screamed out loud and rudely said "put it back". Followed by two other members of staff shouting as if she was stealing the crown jewels. One even checked her shopping trolley to see if there was anything else. She felt most embarrassed. Everyone was watching. The boxes of 'waste not fruit & veg' were stacked hap hazardly and were not clearly marked. There was a small label on a couple of boxes that said £1.50. Who would want to go back into the long queues to pay that for something that would be thrown away in the skip the next day? The manager could have approached her quietly and said, "you know those are £1.50 a box". Time that Lidl's taught their staff some customer relations.

Disgusting. I have now lost trust in Collect Plus. Time to change Couriers.

My sturdy well wrapped boxed parcel was delivered damaged. Firstly I had to refund the buyer and then I had to fill out a damaged claim form for Collect Plus. Disappointingly the claim was rejected because the Collect Plus driver made a hole in the parcel to see what was inside and then left it in the rain making the sturdy cardboard box that inside the black plastic wrapping wet.
This Fragile labelled parcel was initially well wrapped but because it had been thrown about on several attempted deliveries and left to get wet. In the last two months Collect Plus will now not take responsibility for Yodel's mistakes and refuse to compensate for damages for the expensive items.

Review of Hermes parcels

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Using Hermes for overseas parcels is a waste of time & money.

All my Hermes overseas parcels that are sent via WS13 8UR - Global Shipping do not get scanned by Hermes at this delivery point so we do not have proof that Global shipping even received them. When a parcel goes missing, Hermes pass the blame to eBay Global shipping and Global shipping pass the blame back to Hermes. Hermes use the same tracking numbers multiple times which also makes it impossible to trace.

Once a parcel is scanned and marked as…

Once a parcel is scanned and marked as delivered, CollectPlus don't want to know if you have any problems. No response to queries such as my latest one where a recipient did not receive a parcel and CollectPlus supposedly left it by front door. How is that a safe place? why was there no attempt to leave it with close neighbours? Why was there no card explaining where it was left if no-one was home? What happens if a passer by has stolen it? All these questions will never be answered and it will be muggins here that will have to refund the buyer.

Absolutely Disgusted

Absolutely Disgusted. Parcel delivery services recommended to crooks such as Hermes who steal parcels if they think its contents are of any value. This is made obvious by the fact that you are flagging it up by paying extra for a signature. Then they lie and say that the parcel has been damaged and returned to sender. So, no parcel, minimum compensation. They also, often charge double if you send anything remotely the size of a shoe box and without warning. All you see is: Admin Charge- exceeds weight or dimensions, which is a total lie and carried out purely for profit. The main thing that makes Shutl, this eBay provider so terrible is the lack of contact and communication because Hermes will always pass the blame onto them.

One star is too much to give this…

One star is too much to give this extremely crooked company that is shamefully allowed to operate in this country. Customer service lie and give you sympathy if you have a problem and at the same time, kick you in the teeth and do the exact opposite. They will do anything for fraudulent buyers and let them escape with your goods and a refund (money), without any explanation. If there was a decent alternative please let me know and I will finish with eBay altogether.

Not Comprehensive car cover as it says.

Very disappointing that my 'Comprehensive' car insurance did not give comprehensive cover. After reading the small print I realised that it was paying out too much for too little cover. I phoned to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period only to be put on hold and gave up. After that I managed to get through and then they unsympathetically charged me a £77 cancellation penalty. A total rip off for someone who thought they had a trusted insurance company.

Let down by Iceland's home shopping

Ordered my family weekly shopping from Iceland last week and some vital items were missing. I was told by email that their policy was not to supply alternatives if they are out of stock. Because of this, I had to walk in the slippery ice and snow for two miles to my nearest shop to buy basics like bread.

Shutl have been badly let down by Hermes and I think it's time that they gave Hermes a good spanking. Three of my ebay parcels have gone missing in November and Shutl are too bogged down with so many lost parcels it could be a month before I get a decent reply from them. Each time I write, I get fobbed off with excuses. Courier tracking refs: 3292268770147985 and 5958814770168388.
18.12.2017 Now Shutl have come out with the excuse that the claim exceeds the 30 day cut off period when I have proof that I have been chasing them every week since I sent the ebay buyers refunds.
