This delivery company has not disappointed me once. Drivers call to let me know they are on the way and use social media and reliable map apps. I live in the 3330 area. I am English speaking and we use translation apps to communicate. Amazon, if you are listening please use this company!

I attempted to transfer 2065.30 Euros…

I attempted to transfer 2065.30 Euros from WISE to my Portugal bank. What I learned was DO NOT USE DESCIMELS!!! It turned into 206,6530.00. I do not have that kind of money. I was frightened and angry. After calling the company and getting everything fixed, this was my email to the great guy that helped me out.

Dealing with an angry customer is always difficult. You were wonderful. You did your best to de-escalate, calm and move forward. I hope this conversation was recorded. Your company needs to use your example to teach new employees.
Thank you for the help. Banking is stressful to retirees on a fixed income. The rules at WISE are not well explained "in the moment".
It seems to me that WISE has evolved in the last year. In some ways it is easier. Still the rules are unclear. Fine print is difficult, always.

within 24 hours it was IN MY HOUSE!

Ordered a HDMI step down cable and within 24 hours it was IN MY HOUSE. Delivered by CTT! That is what would have surprised me in America. Here in the mountains of Portugal in a tiny little town, I am astounded. THANK YOU AMAZON AND CTT! I wish I could give you 10 more stars. Calm calm, you do not need to be this wonderful each time.

AMAZON SPAIN. Please use GLS delivery service

AMAZON SPAIN; Please use GLS delivery service as they can find me without any problems. PAACK just can't seem to figure out what the 7 digit postal code means. I have even tried using a very unsafe drop site with some success but a lot of anxiety. GLS works very well for this part of Portugal.

I am confused by the bad reviews

I am confused by the bad reviews. GLS has delivered a lot of stuff to me without problems. Reliable and friendly each time. The best and most important thing is that they KNOW HOW TO USE GPS AND MAPS! They have NEVER had a problem finding me. NOT ONCE!! After an entire year of fighting with another very difficult delivery company GLS is allowing me to order online without the anxiety usually involved.

Only good for buying hamburgers and uber rides.

Once again, I'm trying to transfer money from my USA bank to my WISE account. My last transfer was on December 11. SO of course I was told I have to wait 4 days to "LET MY ACCOUNTS SETTLE". What crap. I am sooooo vety tired of this company. It is difficult enough moving to another country with America's banking system incompatible with Europe's. WISE even makes me use a third party to connect my funds. They claim they are insuring the transfers are legitimate. THIS IS BANKING, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF CHECKS ON THIS KIND OF THING AND IT DOES NOT TAKE 4 DAY EACH TIME THEY GET A TWITCH. Stay away from this kind of app if your life depends on moving money this way. Use this app only for buying hamburgers, uber rides and hotel rooms. They keep the rules a secret.

I will tell you the down load (DL) speeds for this afternoon 22/12/25 1624. 0.3mbps; 7.3mbps; 1.6mbps; 1.9mbps; 1.6mbps.
As you can see this is just a mess. Watching a simple YouTube video or signing in to my bank account, paying bills is a gamble.
MEO should refund our money when their speed falls below a stated number. That number should be a minimum necessary to do simple online tasks.

AMAZON HATES ME

Today I found out that PAACK is not allowed to leave packages for me at CTT. Why was that not made clear to me "somewhere"? PAACK can not find my house with any degree of consistency. So I attempted to make it easy for them by using CTT. The wonderful delivery driver found an easy compromise for us. It is a little restaurant near my house. I have had a bad delivery experience there last year where the rechargeable batteries were taken from my package and the package was sun bleached so badly my name was not very readable. No one let me know where the item was for months. I am willing to give it another try. HOWEVER I will continue to encourage AMAZON to use a different company for deliveries. PAACK has been just too much stress and worry for me. AMAZON gets 1 star and PAACK gets 4 stars for the effort and care the driver gave this delivery. But the company should rot in @#$%. Does the Portugal government know how much money is lost because we avoid AMAZON and PAACK? My address can be found with the very simple 7 digit code. WHAT IS THE DAMN PROBLEM PAACK??? Never made it through primary school? I am tired and frustrated trying to buy things online. The quality is questionable, the process is mind numbing and delivery just makes things even more horrible. Remind me again why I am PRIME member?

ONCE AGAIN

ONCE AGAIN, internet speed between 0.1mbps and 1.2mbps down load. Just checked again -- 1.3 DL and 3.4 UL. We thought our computer was on the blink and did a restart, pulled the plug on the router and started over. No improvement. Another check, 1.5 DL 3.5 UL. Tonight the net has been dropping to 0.0 several times. WE ARE TRYING TO PAY BILLS AND BUY STUFF. How can a modern economy run without a reliable internet? How can I spend my money on stuff from Portugal and support the country I am deeply in love with? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, MEO? WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?

I give up. I tried EVERYTHING.

I have done everything possible to buy 2 pieces of furniture from this company. Over 10 emails to this point. I have attempted to send money, I have clarified my address, I have attempted to find a human to talk to. I give up. They offered me a 35 euro coupon, which I sure would not be able to use. After all I can't actually buy anything on their site. I need furniture badly and really wanted this to work. I read the bad reviews and chose the products carefully and gave them the benefit of the doubt. NOTHING HAS WORKED. I give up. I have been working on this for 2 weeks. I give up. Fiz tudo o que estava ao meu alcance para comprar dois móveis desta empresa. Mais de 10 e-mails até agora. Tentei enviar dinheiro, confirmei meu endereço, tentei encontrar alguém com quem conversar. Desisto. Me ofereceram um cupom de 35 euros, que com certeza não poderei usar. Afinal, não consigo comprar nada no site deles. Preciso muito dos móveis e realmente queria que isso desse certo. Li as avaliações negativas, escolhi os produtos com cuidado e dei a eles o benefício da dúvida. NADA FUNCIONOU. Desisto. Estou tentando há duas semanas. Desisto.

Please order, give us your money, delivery .....

We had the freezer delivered within 2 days. The refrigerator and washer also arrived in a timely manner months ago. JUST DO NOT ORDER SMALL ITEMS, LIKE THE COUTCH COVER WE ORDERED OVER 2 WEEKS AGO. So, one more star and lesson learned.
Everyone wants me to order but NO ONE cares about delivery. It has been 9 days Worten. What is the problem. I want to order a freezer from you but why should I trust you. The last order hasten even been sent to the delivery company. It's been 9 days. Please do not bother with a cut and paste reply. That is very irritating. Foolishly I just purchased a small freezer from Worten. I will update after delivery on Wednesday the 17th.
Toda a gente quer que eu faça uma encomenda, mas NINGUÉM se importa com a entrega. Já passaram 9 dias. Qual é o problema? Quero comprar-vos um congelador, mas porque devo confiar em vocês? O último pedido nem sequer foi enviado para a transportadora. Já passaram 9 dias. Por favor, não se deem ao trabalho de enviar uma resposta genérica. Isso é muito irritante.

Amazon chosen delivery company fails again

I love Amazon. So with all the good things they offer me why do they leave their reputation to a delivery company with such abysmal abilities. PAACK only needs my Código Postal code and maybe a phone call. So why is this sooooo difficult. AMAZON WHY HAVEN'T YOU FIXED THIS DELIVERY PROBLEM. I am a Prime customer and deserve better from you. How about refunding me my money each time your chosen delivery company fails. Fair is Fair Amazon.

PAACK all AI, NO HUMANS

Once again PAACK can not figure out where I live. 3 other companies have NO problems but PAACK is ridiculously inept. Those poor delivery guys do their best but this company is clueless. My Código Postal code works in GOOGLE MAPS. What on earth is the problem? They will send me an AI generated reply with zero results and NO intention of making any changes. ZERO humans will read this review, except for Trustpilot. Why any company would risk their reputation with PAACK shows a stunning lack of respect for their consumers.

I want to buy 2 pieces of furniture

I want to buy 2 pieces of furniture. Unfortunately this web site is unable to accept my address and this company is doing everything possible to NOT let me talk to, or email a human. Their AI is keeping me from spending my money at their store. Order number 0351001271578
I wouldn't care except buying quality furniture in Portugal is nearly impossible. 346AB47D198A59924947CC5C00 this may be my customer number, I am not sure.

Internet speed getting better after complaint

After this review their internet speeds seem to be better and fewer black out nights. So ... more stars

Sorry MEO I do not use Facebook or Instagram. Communications through those means is not possible. I'm an old dude who was promised 10mbps and was foolish enough to believe you. I'll settle for 3mbps without drop outs and you give you all the stars. By the way we eventually lost internet completely last night.

Internet speed is so bad tonight it should be called Internet slow. I just got 1.77 mbps just now and that is about as good as it gets. So, no Christmas shopping tonight. I wish Trustpilot had a way to upload a screen shot of the speeds I am getting. Sometimes it will jump to around 4mbps but those speeds will not last. I very seldom get above 2mbps for an entire evening. Why do these phone-internet providers promise so much? They should be honest and not give us high of expectations.
