They have been so helpful

They have been so helpful. The employee even took the time to look up different prices, compared hardwares and my budget to come up with best plan for me. I would recommend them to everyone.

I sent two luggages with a 30kg limit each, but I only sent 23kg per luggage. Despite this, Eurosender is charging me 66 euros, claiming I didn’t put my luggage inside a cardboard box. This makes no sense and feels like a complete scam. Their communication is confusing, unprofessional, and they even threatened debt collection over this issue. Their website is also hard to navigate and not accessible. I would strongly advise against using Eurosender – they overcharge, mislead customers, and provide no proper support.

Dear Ahsan,

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand how frustrating this must have felt. Nobody wants to deal with unexpected charges, and we regret that this situation left you feeling misled.

Please note that, for safety and handling reasons, all luggage must be placed in a cardboard box — this requirement is shown during the booking process and also explained in our Terms & Conditions. Couriers may apply additional handling fees after delivery if packaging doesn’t meet these standards or if dimensions/weight are different than declared.

As stated in our Terms & Conditions, chapter 3.1. Packaging:
“The standard packaging of a shipment not containing pallets is a cardboard box, consisting of two or more layers of carton. Boxes need to be closed, secured with tape, and wrapped with foil if necessary. Any other type of packaging may be used only at client’s own risk and can lead to additional charges for the client.”

We sincerely regret that this wasn’t clearer upfront and will take your feedback to improve how we communicate these requirements. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Your Eurosender Team

Hidden Fees and Confusing Packaging Rules

I recently shipped a suitcase with Eurosender and was later charged an unexpected €67 “packaging fee.” Their website shows duct tape as an approved “exterior packaging material,” so I secured my suitcase accordingly. Only afterwards did they claim that everything must be in a cardboard box, despite their own site giving contradictory information.

The charge was not made clear during booking, and the threat of debt collection for such a small dispute feels aggressive and unprofessional. For a company that markets itself as simple and affordable, this kind of hidden fee and unclear policy is misleading to customers.

If you plan to use Eurosender, be aware:

Always put your luggage inside a cardboard box, even though their site suggests other materials.

Expect additional charges if you don’t follow unclear instructions.

Customer service is inflexible and quick to threaten collection instead of resolving issues fairly.

Very disappointed - I would not recommend their service.

They are scamming people here to buy…

They are scamming people here to buy premium service.

I went today to submit my documents as an Erasmus Mundus scholarship holder here at Bangladesh VFS global Italy office. With the regular service i checked photocopy, photo and sms service. But when I mentioned I will be taking photo at vfs, they immediately mentioned its for premium service users only. But the website says its for regular applicants too.

Stop scamming people.
