I’m not necessarily trying to sell anyone on ecthelion/tuor as I do myself tend to write and prefer them as very close friends (who maybe hooked up once or twice) but I just think it’s a little surprising that they’ve only got 4 fics on ao3 given he carried that elf around probably bridal style through fire and flame and over bodies and revived him with magic water and maybe a little kiss and eärendil practically loved him like a second father. he wept for his love of that fair gnome of the fountain!!!!
