I reblog a lot but I rarely talk on here in general, but I needed to share this love letter to everyone here who has reblogged, recommended or spoken about my work without me even knowing. This is for you.

It has been a very, very long time since I had one drawing per month to post into an art summary. Thank you so, so, SO much everyone who has supported my artwork, my fanfiction and all of the many AUs and ideas I have shared this year. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

This past year, and the one prior have been two of the worst in my life so far, wherein I was trapped in living, working and general life situations completely beyond my control, but since June of this year I have been able to move to much happier places and have surrounded myself with family and friends who I would have never met if not for the hardships I have been though. I think you can see that in my art too with it being more intricate, colourful, and (and I can’t believe this) completed on a semi-regular basis! I haven’t been this inspired or felt so accomplished in so long, academically, interpersonally and creatively.

I am so incredibly grateful especially to Gotham for giving me a rock in a very dark time, and for providing me the friends, and the motivation and inspiration to create the most elaborate, fun, whimsical and heartfelt AU that I have created in years [AKA, my Gotham Umora AU. Go read it, trust me it’s so much fun!].

Never would I have dreamed that this year I would successfully post 10 chapters of a 70k word fanfiction (so far!!!) that’s being loved and well-received, especially with all of the challenges and major life changes that has come with life this year. It has been a dream of mine for the past decade, and I am giddy with joy over this personal achievement. All that’s left is to write 12 more chapters and finish it!

Thank you all so much again for reblogging and recommending my hard work, for talking to me about my AU and for supporting me in general. I can’t wait to see what this next year will bring! <3
