If you're struggling to obliterate gold players, you are not good enough. I understand how unpredictable they can be, but that means they are making mistakes, mistakes that you should be able to punish.
stop blaming your teammates. Even in radiant a good enough player can 1v9 a lobby, so you should be able to do that in gold if you want to climb. You are in that rank for a reason.

obviously Valorant is feeling super stale, and I was thinking of a fun gamemode to shake things up. So why not an April fools mode that turbo juices every single agent!
Here is an example of some of the "patch notes"
Reyna:
dismiss duration 1.5s --> 10s
devour now heals a nearby teammate if Reyna is full health
Leer cast time reduced
Gekko:
Wingman is now BIG (about the height of a player) and has 300 health. BIGMAN
dizzy's blind duration increased 1s ---> 5s
mosh takes 6s to explode, but the diameter is increased by double
Thrash can now be picked up an endless amount of times
all globules cooldown reduced 20s --> 5s
Raze:
blast pack charges increased 2 --> 4 and price halved
boombot now rolls around indefinitely until destroyed, go find em buddy!
ult cooldown is refreshed on kill
cypher:

updraft and tailwind recharge every 15 seconds
all abilities reverted to beta stats
Chamber:
2 pylon rendezvous is back, and has no cooldown
tour deforce has infinite wall penetration and is fully accurate no scoping
headhunter is now fully accurate while jumping
Neon:
slide recharges every 10 seconds
relay bolt bounces 5 more times
movespeed further boosted by 35% in ult
Deadlock:
enemies that get bonked by your wall are cocooned
sound sensors throw people up into the air when they stun
ult can hit multiple people
Yoru:
clone charges increased from 1 --> 4, price reduced
teleports are now silent
ult duration increased to 20 seconds, and infinite abilities during ult (you can use abilities in ult again)
Clove:
smokes are now global, and slowly heal teammates that stand inside
pick me up can boop an enemy on your crosshair, killing them and throwing them in the air
you can fly around in your ghost form during ult for 10s
I think wacky changes like these for a new gamemode could be really funny. Does anyone have other ideas for the other agents? 😁
