And if you are getting pinched to begin with you wouldn't just sit in the angle and wait. The smart play is to peek to isolate a fight before you get pinched. If there is flashes and stuns and other utility you are more likely to die because of the util than die because of an iso shield. If you hear iso run up just jiggle prefire and fall back. If you have good positioning this should almost always be an option. You can also just hold him with a teammate for a guaranteed trade.
Honestly feels like you are just coping because iso feels annoying, because you feel like you are denied kills when you hit him and he wins the fight with shield, but this is honestly not at all any more powerful than any other util in the game. Util exists to give gunfight advantages and iso shield gives a pretty minor advantage compared to some other utility.

Why does year matter? we are talking about if the coach is a fraud not what year... 4/5 same lineup on G2 under the same coach and they got a peak top 3 finish with multiple good placements that year to back it up domestically and internationally. I mean I’d say it’s a pretty big deal if multiple masters winners publicly have something bad to say about your coaching. I’d say that not having pre prepared picks and bans and just letting your players pick maps off vibes the day of the match is not good coaching either. I wouldn’t say that picking bind and losing every time but still trying to force it is good coaching decisions either. Many things that have culminated into making him the fraud that he is.

I rather have a coach that proved himself properly in valorant or at least a related game instead of one riding the credentials and connections from an entirely different genre of game.
He should have never gotten this spot over an established CS veteran or OW veteran.
Other coaches worked themselves up from either player positions or other coaching staff roles, like analyst or assistant coach, in similar games like cs, crossfire, overwatch, paladins, etc. Autumn jumped straight into the head coaching role from the start of valorant beta with zero background in either tac fps or hero shooters. C9 Korea offered him a spot as coach a few months into the beta and he snowballed that into a C9 career and then a T1 one, all without having any background in relevant games.
PUBG is as far as a shooter game can be from tacfps or hero shooter, literally the entire pro strategy is just stay alive as long as possible for better placements and I don't see at all how that would translate to valorant.

Muggle tried his hardest to force s1mon replacements who didn't have the same agent pool to run breach kayo every map when double initiator was falling out of meta and neither jieni nor zjc could play them properly. EDG finally recovered a bit after he decided to just let jieni play his best role of duelist in the best double duelist meta we have seen in a while.
There is nothing wrong with faded but his team literally didnt have a proper IGL, so we know the coaching wasn't the biggest issue.
G2 is good and they aren't frauds because they never fell off. G2 was never carried by a single player, they have a very solid team system and they have the track record to back it.
Autumn has a track record of being a mid coach for pre franchise, 23, and 24 where he basically did nothing with what was at the time a pretty solid roster of veteran OW stars and CS talent, and he conflicted with munchkin and caused him to leave T1 initially, and munchkin went on to become a masters winning IGL.
I refuse to believe this guy is champion caliber since he barely managed to get a masters 1 win with the best KR roster T1 can buy for him. Not to mention how meteor said he had to tell him explicitly to give concrete solutions during timeouts because apparently he couldn't even do that.
Autumn was mid in pubg too, only managing to farm the korean scene with a few domestic first place finishes.

EDG was a chichoo masterclass and muggle showed he was a bit of a fraud this year
T1 was mostly individual plays, their teamplay looked kinda horrible at times but they made up for it with big hero plays

I will give credit to autumn for coming up with a gimmicky playstyle that hard countered tejo, but the results after speak for themselves
T1 had probably one of the best KR rosters they could possibly build heading into 2025 and they barely scraped a win in bangkok with some insane heroics individually, which autumn can take ZERO credit for
They proceeded to do shit in stage 1 after their gimmicky anti-tejo playstyle got easily figured out
Their stage 2 was also well below expectations and better mostly in part to DH being an absolutely insane pickup who basically solo won them some games
They underperformed at champs for a roster with the potential to win it. Autumn's previous years with worse rosters were extremely lackluster as well. This guy is a generational fraud coach who's background in battle royale does not translate at all to valorant.
He has a below 1.0 rating on every single agent he has ever played in VCJ or the offseason besides waylay
