What starts as an exercise for Rose in hunting immortals suddenly becomes far more dangerous (and profitable) when the prey they locate turns out to be a Robin. The pretty bird could be a prize for any hunter all by himself, but Slade knows his real value is in what the rest of his flock will do to get him safely returned.

Jason had always sort of hoped that the fact that he wasn’t the Crown Prince would mean that he’d get to marry for love rather than politics, but the threat of war means that he’s fresh out of luck. Artemis has made it clear that married or not he is not welcome in her bed, but he may amuse himself with whoever he wants so long as there are no illegitimate heirs.

His bodyguard Slade proves that this might not be the worst arrangement.

Some days it seemed like Jason Todd was the embodiment of all of Bruce’s greatest failures. His failure to not fall into bed with him was just one more for this list. Still, there was a raw and savage sweetness to their coupling that couldn’t be spoiled.

“Yeah, but I thought-” Dick chewed on his lip and hugged himself, “I just wish he’d have told us *something*.”

Tim wanted to tell him that Jason would be fine and that he would keep himself safe during Aestus. But they both knew that wasn’t necessarily true.

Colin never knew how freeing it would be to just be seen as person and not his dynamic. Especially because his dynamic was one big ball of confusion. He was the uncomfortable topic no one wanted to think about.

And yet here was Damian who had no sense of smell, who looked at him and only saw *Colin*.

When Stephanie gets the call she almost doesn’t believe it. Out of all of them, Dick *can’t* be the one who’s gone missing. She wants to yell and tell them they’re wrong. But she knows the rest of the pack is taking it even harder.

Cass wordlessly slips close and hugs her from behind. Worried and upset, both because of Dick and because she knows what Stephanie plans to do.

She is probably Dick’s best bet for survival after all.

Tim is ready get back to Gotham and put this whole Flicker business behind them. Unfortunately, Dick’s recovery is slow and Bruce asks him to keep an eye on the lovebirds.

It doesn’t take him long to realize there might be a very good reason for this.

Dick tried not to sulk about Bruce always being ever so careful with him. The savageness of traditional Mer mating couldn’t really be as wonderful as his instincts kept insisting.

Sleeping with a Mer can get a bit complicated when both of you have very different ideas about what relationships are supposed to look like, Tim finds.

He thinks he should be a lot more freaked out than he is.

Most people just make decisions based on what they could live with.

But there comes a time when you have to do the right thing no matter how much it kills you. Bruce lives and breathes this rule. He’s built his world and work around it and he will die by it.

Dick had lived his whole life in between. Born a Mer, but raised in a circus full of human’s away from his own kind. Someone had once asked him if he’d ever wished he was born human. Dick wished he knew how to explain that he really liked being a Mer and playing in the human world. He liked being situated in between the two cultures… it was just lonely sometimes.

Bruce was all about hard clear lines between what was right and wrong. However, Tim always thought that being in a relationship with a Mer necessitated that you live a little in the grey areas.

“I have been watching you, young detective,” Ra’s voice rang out clearly in the cave, “after much thought, I have decided that you shall be my mate.”

Tim’s eyes widened as he realized that Ra’s was walking towards him.

“There’s just a few things we need to attend to first.”

Control had never been what Jason’s primary goal was in regards to Bruce. When Jason did go after control, it was usually just a means to the same end as it always was: provoking a reaction from the older man. Pushing and testing until he broke past Bruce’s control and made him loose it a little.

Or a lot.

Innocent Bones (brujay) Rated E

They needed space. Bruce was forgetting the rules to this little game they were playing– ‘I love you’ Bruce would whisper when he thought Jason was asleep. It made something young in Jason weep. Awoke a hunger in him Jason hadn’t realized was there, made him greedy and desperate in ways he wasn’t comfortable with– and Jason was also not okay with how much the Manor was feeling like home these days.

Space would hopefully help redefine those lines once more.

Love You (Like I’m Gonna Lose You) (brujay) Rated E

Jason always forgets the way his near death experiences affect Bruce. It can get a little intense. Bruce get’s possessive and desperate in a way Jason sometimes forgets are possible.

Makes them both get a little carried away sometimes and forget other important details.

Time May Give You More (brujay) Rated E

Bruce didn’t know what to think of the fact that Jason was still there. He wanted to keep him close so much that he thought Jason should leave soon or Bruce wouldn’t be able to stop himself from getting the wrong idea.

Or the right one.

Jealous Bird (Midnighter/Dick, brujaydick) Rated E

Dick wasn’t supposed to want them. Even worse, he knew that they both were aware that he wanted them. Knew that his continued proximity and desire was hurting Bruce and Jason’s relationship. And he also knew that he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from doing something regrettable much longer, so only one question remained: was he going to leave or stay?

These two chapters are two DIFFERENT scenarios not a continual story.

Come Running (brujay) Rated E

Bruce has fucked up Jason’s walls good and proper. When he hurts him now it cuts straight to the core. There’s no more defenses.

Dick wasn’t exactly supposed to go solo on missions like this. You were supposed bring someone else with you from the Garage. But it was that Jason sneaking off again, and the only one good enough to be able to catch the punk was Dick so taking anyone else would’ve just been dead weight.

“Fuck, I might be in love,” Jason whistled appreciatively running his gloved hands over the hood of the car.

“You’re not making off with this one, Todd,” Dick told him sharply, “Remember that I know your game now.”

They say you can tell a lot about a person by who their soulmate was. Bruce wasn’t completely convinced. After all, his soulmate was some country bumpkin from Kansas.

Not that it mattered in the grand scheme of things.

Bruce didn’t even know what he was supposed to do about his own soulmate, he had no idea how to guide the Robins about theirs.

The Breaking of Dick Grayson (non-con dickslade) Rated E

Dick had blindly thought Slade would be satisfied so long as he wore his colors and acted in opposition to the Titans when expressly ordered. And even if he’d somewhat imagined that Slade might eventually try and demand more he’d assumed that with all of Batman’s training he’d either figure a way out of it or it would never be enough to break him.

But Slade is both cleverer, more experienced, and more twisted than Dick had anticipated. The Mercenary is set on not only having him as an apprentice, but making sure that there will be no going back.

Never Ever (jaydick) Rated E - ON HOLD

The first taste that Jason got that Robin might not be as untouchable as he’d thought was when Slade tried to take and destroy Dick (and nearly succeeded). The first time he really confronted his anger at Batman and his stupid rule was when he failed to punish the mercenary.

The second time for both those things was after he died at the hands of the Joker… There would be no third, he swore.

Super New (timkonmatch) 

Tim, Match, and Kon have been figuring out what being all together might mean. And while being together with Tim acting as a buffer has been working thus far, he insists that Match and Kon need to… Feel each other out so to speak.

Though Tim’s still graciously willing to supervise.

My Overflowing Love - Rated E

“Me wants… ” Bizarro struggled with his words a bit, but his eyes zeroed in on Jason’s mouth and it wasn’t hard to figure out what he was thinking about.

“Okay,” Jason said swallowing.

“I’ll do it,” Bruce told him. 

“What do you mean, you’ll do it?” Jason eyed him suspiciously.

“I can make you someone everyone recognizes, but no one knows,” Roman promised Jason, “Whoever you were before, whatever you’ve done, you can leave it all behind when you come with me.”

The boy didn’t look completely sold, but Roman wasn’t worried. A boy like that was made for the False Face Society.

Reclaiming an Owl (sladedick) Rated M - 1/?

The Court didn’t use half measures. By the time Bat’s made the connection between the nanotech planted on Robin and Nightwing’s sudden disappearance, it was far too late.

The Court anticipated that the Bat’s would still try and ‘save’ Talon anyway. However, they weren’t prepared for Deathstroke. No one ever was.

Damian took a breath and looked Jason over taking care to focus on all the imperfections, remind himself of how the other was ultimately undesirable to him, before Jason’s bright addictive intensity could overwhelm him again.
