Into the fathomless chasm we are falling
With a rope tied around our necks since birth
Swamped in the fetid quagmires of existence
Until at last we coalesce at one with the earth
Tormented into motion, onward to the last of sunsets
As the claws of the abyss caress our sores
Ineffable agonies transpire with a searing catharsis
Through woes emanating from life’s stenching pores
In dismay portrayed through endeavours futile
When the vaults nocturnal unveil their reign
Death’s triumph be proclaimed with silent relinquishment
And languid movements locked in ceaseless repetition
Transfixed by shadows from beyond the Lethean waves
Into the nether realm, to the dawnless depths we descend
Through ever-endarkened translunary gateways
Where all faint incandescence crawls to an end
Nox consumit omnia
Mors regnum aeternum est

Shrine of the Abysmal

Through tides of silver - this ordeal came into being
That which from lovelorn wounds takes its source
And whereby, yet again, thus with tears thee I crown
O harbinger of myriad unhealing sores
Impose thy splendour upon this shrine abysmal
With sacrificial rites at every dusk thee I greet
Cravest thou not these artefacts of worship?
My votive offerings - displayed at thy feet
With vile despair these nightscapes engulf me
A translucent shroud now I wear as my cloak
Devoured by the sermon of void infinitude
Its secrets be told in magniloquent tongues
Eroding desires bear witness to this fallen enterprise
A revelation of eternal harvest thus unrolls
As I embrace the twilight - the final homecoming
With deep hiraeth for that which never was

Gaia

A new serum eradicates the illness
An old man rises from his wheelchair
When suffering unknown attacks the painless
And common animals are becoming rare
As water spins in circles twice
Spiders, snakes and the little mice
Get twisted around and tumbe down
When Nature calls we all shall drown
If the earth is dying of a growing thirst
Rain shall fall on dried out soil
And every kind of bud shall burst
A slough of relief to insects - turmoil
As water spins in circles twice
Spiders, snakes and the little mice
Get twisted around and tumble down
When Nature calls we all shall drown
