Q & A
Q: What problem does your business solve for your clients?
A: As a women’s holistic coach and yoga teacher, I don’t just “solve problems”—I empower women to celebrate their unique identity, boldly use their voice, and proudly take up space.
Q: Do clients usually come to you through yoga first, or coaching?
A: Both pathways are possible! Some women come specifically for coaching and stay focused there. Others integrate yoga, meditation, and mindfulness into their sessions. A few choose weekly yoga or movement practices alongside coaching, and many who finish their coaching journey continue with yoga and meditation to deepen their growth. Each client’s path is unique—and evolves with time.
Q: How much do you share about yourself in sessions?
A: I am not the traditional “blank-faced” coach. I believe in genuine connection. While I only disclose when it benefits the client, I use my own lived experiences to illustrate growth, resilience, and possibility. Relatability builds trust, and trust opens the door for true transformation.
✨ TulaSoul is more than wellness—it’s a movement of reclamation, healing, and feminine power. ✨
From the age of twelve, Dr. Jo knew her path—she would become a psychologist. Fascinated by the complexities of the human psyche and driven by a deep calling to help others, she dedicated her life to understanding and guiding human healing.
After earning her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Jo served as a Research Coordinator and Therapist at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Child Psychiatry and later worked in outpatient clinics as a therapist. She eventually founded her own private practice, specializing in trauma and supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse backgrounds.
Now, as a holistic coach and teacher, Dr. Jo feels honored to witness women transform—growing in physical strength, emotional intelligence, resilience, and spiritual depth. With her guidance, clients learn to find balance in body and soul, speak their truth even when their voice trembles, and unapologetically take up physical, emotional, and sacred space.
