Dennison de Lima Gomes, better known as DENNIS, is truly a phenomenon! Recognized as one of the most renowned artists in today’s funk scene, he is synonymous with talent and versatility. Born in Duque de Caxias, RJ, he began his journey at just 13, playing at neighborhood parties. By 15, he was performing at weddings and major events, and at 17, he landed his first show on the now-defunct Imprensa FM radio station. His breakthrough came when he became part of the legendary Furacão 2000 team. During that period, he produced some of the biggest hits in carioca funk, such as “Cerol na Mão,” “Um Tapinha Não Dói,” “Dança da Motinha,” “De Segunda a Sexta,” “Vai Lacraia,” among many others that became timeless classics in the ears of the public.
