Glitter - A festive holiday STD

Hey, all.
Well, boredom abounds as I sit here, house and dog sitting for some aquaintances of mine. While I've looked after Earl (An American Bulldog) many times over his life, he's getting so on in years now it's more like looking after a cat. He naps almost as much as I do.
I'm wincing as I write this, as this computer they have is so old and slow, it not only takes roughly 10 minutes to boot up, but also about 5 minutes to load each page. I'm begining to belive that if I opened the thing up, I would not be shocked in the least to find the motherboard to be carved from stone by some ahead-of-their-time australopithecus. Only being here for a smidgen over a week, I decided not to lug my large, but wonderfully constructed, desktop over here. Remind me in the future to not travel without it for any length of time. I miss WoW, writting, torrenting, heck, I even miss adminning! :)
One the brighter side of things, I'm thoroughly enjoying this lack of sun and heat we've been having. Seems like summer has finally decided to take a break and give me some much anticipated fall weather.
Work, on the other hand, is getting worse and wose as the big corporate noose tightens and working conditions get more and more ridiculous. (For those that don't know, I work for a very large, corporate run chain of art supply stores. They made me sign a piece of paper that says I can't name it. But that's ok, I'll mock them with or without a name. Which starts with M, btw.) And of course, due to the fact that the Non Denominational Winter Festival season (I think some of you may refer to it as Christmas) starts in roughly June for retail, myself and all my co workers are thoroughly coated in glitter, (which we have discovered is basically the herpes of the art world) because it seems everything related to this season is shllac'ed in it, which gives all us bitter, misanthropic nihilistic employees a falsely cheery appearance.
Anyhow, I do hope you all are doing well, and I will be back in my own home with my own comupter on Tuesday the 20th, and hopefully get back to work here at FA, and possibly even manage to upload some of the backlog that's piling up here.
Cheers!
(PS, while I am a stickler or spelling, grammar and puntuation, please forgive me for any errors in this entry, as I fear if I try to run a spellcheck on this computer, time may actually move backwards in some sort of a spatial continuity.)
