In the meantime, badger a few temp agencies; they tend to like and accept people that aren't going to school (which by the way is why I'm out of work), and that have a open week schedule because most of them operate on a full time schedule.

Yeah, I'm working with one right now. It's just so depressing seeing the real lack of opportunities out there, and the shitty hours and wages that people expect you to accept. Like, I'm not saying I'm super awesome and should just be handed a super job, but I have a Bachelors degree from a good school and somehow can't find anything offering more than 12/hr. It's sad, really, but I'm trying my best to keep positive.

I understand the shit you're going through along with other college students and grads, but I admire your positive outlook on the situation. Maybe you might have to work like two jobs; then again you would be in for some ass dragging time, especially if you work an over 12 hour shift. (I did over 40 hours working at some toy factory part of last summer just pulling the threads with my fingers on the stuffed animals, and using an airgun to blow off the styrofoam off of those stuffed animals. Good pay but LOOONG HOURS.) So, see if you can get some factory work in, say, like light industrial work. If you choose that option, be prepared to stand on your feet for much of the day.
