Yeah I'm still around but no longer writing or doing any of the things I used to enjoy. My husband retired and promptly began doing nothing except follow me around to see what I'm doing. He drives me batshit crazy. Consequently, I can find no time or space to enjoy my former pastimes and I truly miss being connected to all my friends on DA, FF.net, SWAT Kats forum, and here.

I need to break free but life and my hubby keep me from doing so. He's depressed (and not admitting it) and his very negative outlook drains any energy from our household. Even moving into a much nicer neighborhood and beautiful home hasn't given me back my life.

However, I am the positive one in this home and I'm determined to break free and get back to the things I love. So with the warmer weather moving in, I'm going to get fitter and make time to write again and reconnect with the people and places I once haunted. Hope I can keep this promise.
